We were waiting for László, but I'm 99% sure I know he's going to do attack, so I'll roll for him and we'll continue.
The forces defending the camp have gained the upper hand, pushing back those at the breach and finishing off those who manages to slip through. Though things look good on the inside, but the sound of heavy footsteps approach.
Peri's magic missile strikes the chieftain, giving it another small injury. Shel and Haris move to flank it, jabbing with their daggers. Haris just barely misses a weak spot in its armor, but Shel's punches through and penetrates deeply into its thigh.
László fires an arrow, but his aim is off this time and the arrow misses completely.
Yanos moves closer, but does not yet attack.
The chief, frowns at the situation, but does nothing except tap its club against the ground impatiently.

I'll cast Divine Favor and then make my way a little closer to the chief, but still staying a little bit away. I want to try to be able to both charge and flank next round, if that's possible.
DM Rah |
Haris, Shel, and László take down the chief, who almost seems thankful for ending its boring existence. Peri Yanos, save those spells, it was down before you needed them.
A cheer goes up from the camp as the enemy falls back, but you know it will only be a brief respite to tend wounds and give a prayer for the fallen. Outside the walks the giant angazhani bellows, its army reforming around it and preparing to charge again.
.The ground trembles as something large approaches from the camp behind you.
Yanos |
Oh, I thought the chief was the giant angazhani, hence the slowly moving to it.
"Something is trying to flank us from the rear!" as I turn around to check.

Shel pulls a wand from her satchel. "Yanos, do you have a second to cure some of my wounds with this wand?"
It's a CLW wand, if anyone else needs a quick heal
Yanos |
"Certainly"
Sorry, I didn't think anyone was really that wounded. I had also Channeled not to long ago fro 8 to everyone.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
"Thanks Yanos. I feel all better now!"
Shel full HP. 49/50 charges left on CLW wand.
Grith |
As Yanos looks over his shoulder to see if someone is flanking them from the camp, he sees a hulking shadow appearing over the horizon. For a moment it looks like a slow-moving mountain growing out of the earth, but as the light catches the surface, the details become clearer. The great behemoth shakes the ground as it approaches, like a warrior clad in ancient armor lumbering forth towards the sounds of battle. As it arrives, somehow perfectly clean and dustless, it becomes apparent that no warrior is within; rather, this great metal monstrosity is an animated statue, brought to life by some strange power, apparently intent on joining the fight. For which side or what cause it may fight is yet to be seen.
Yanos |
"Ok. You guys and gals take the big one and take the other big one. . . without his normal characteristic sarcastic humor. This time, well we really are going to all die anyway.
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
"If we are getting out of the way, someone needs to grab Barlor. We can't leave him out here to get squashed!"
Yanos |
"Hey Juliet. Now's probably a great time to tell us anything else you might not have told us about what you have found here." he calls across the battlefield while trying to get the people to get to safety from the new threat.
DM Rah |
"Like what? Arrows of giant-slaying? Sorry, used them all as firewood!" Juliet calls back.
"Where did that come from!" Calgredene shouts, staring at the monolith. "What did you fools do?". His mercenaries seem about ready to route, their eyes darting about for escape.
A horn sounds from the west side of the camp, and then the east, and then from the tower. The lookouts shout, “They’re coming over the walls!” and the camp’s defenders run to meet the charge. About 40 feet from your posistion a large black-skinned hand reaches over the top of the wall. Then the terrible face of the giant angazhani pulls itself over, followed by the scrambling forms of charau-ka all along the top of the palisade. Beside you, two more of the ape creatures climb over and jump down inside the camp, followed by another shaman with a war cat.
In the camp behind you the light from the sphere has increased to a level almost painful to look at.

FYI, Enlarge is still active for you Yanos, so I'll put you at 3 squares away.
Shel and Haris attack the shaman, but neither draws blood.
Yanos prepares for combat with another spell.
The monolith charges and smashes a fist into the angazhani, sending it back a step.
From across the battlefield Calgridene rides in with a mounted charge. At first it looks as if he might lance Shel, but he rides right past her and impales the shaman. Continuing on, the lance pulls free, spinning the creature about, but amazingly it remains on its feet and still in the fight.
Growling fiercely, the shaman sends its tiger at Yanos then gestures at Calgredine, summoning a flaming sphere that leaps at the mounted soldier. Calgredine's horse prances away and avoids it for now.
The tiger leaps for Yanos, but takes his longspear through the heart and dies instantly.

Peri, entangle would have likely hurt your allies more than your enemies, so I was going to go with Oppressive Boredom. I should have mentioned that earlier, apologies. Anyway, that spell seems to go into effect when the target acts, but I'll resolve now so I don't forget.
