One quick question... if we don't finish the module in time, the only cost would be that we won't qualify for the boon roll for the game day/convention?
Is there any reason we couldn't still finish the module?
Male Halfling Black Sheep 11 | HP 59/78 | AC 27 T 20 FF 20 (+2 dodge against light blades) | CMD 26 | F +5 R +16 W +7 (+2 against fear) | Init +14 (always act in surprise) | Perc +21
That's correct. If we don't finish by the Gameday deadline, we don't get to roll for a boon but we can still finish it on our own and still get full credit.
I really want to finish by July 1st. After that I am on holidays for 2 weeks, and the game would go into 'sleep' mode. And that is often not healthy.

I think you'll need to aggressively bot characters if we're going to make it. Combats cannot take a week.
Let's see how it goes - I can fast forward in the end to the final encounter, if you want - depends on the group (without loss of xp or PA, you have completed already the biggest part) - and will cover lots more ground.

I'm Belabras and I support this plan.

So, can Ezren attack from inside the ooze, or is he pretty much helpless for now?
He is grabbed - escape artist to get out, or concentration check.

So sorry everybody. Shuffling between work, home and hospital is killing my time.
I'll try to post as often as I can, if I'm holding up the game, bot me as needed.
Male Human Wizard 7
So, I'm confused. Were we going to try to have a caster do the spellcraft check while everyone else slept?
Male Human (Taldan) Paladin of Abadar 11 | HP94/94 | AC: 25 (12 tch, 23Fl) | CMB: +15, CMD: 29 | F: +17, R: +11, W: +15 | Init: +1 | Perc: +14, SM: +13 | Speed 30 | Lay on Hands: 15/15, Smite Evil: 1/4, Med. I thought so... I would go ahead and make your check at +29
Male Halfling Black Sheep 11 | HP 59/78 | AC 27 T 20 FF 20 (+2 dodge against light blades) | CMD 26 | F +5 R +16 W +7 (+2 against fear) | Init +14 (always act in surprise) | Perc +21
But then he doesn't get to sleep and regain spells, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Sleep and then make the check was what I thought we were doing.
Male Human Wizard 7
I would very strongly argue against hobbling either Flinders or Ezren by making them skimp on sleep.
Male Human (Taldan) Paladin of Abadar 11 | HP94/94 | AC: 25 (12 tch, 23Fl) | CMB: +15, CMD: 29 | F: +17, R: +11, W: +15 | Init: +1 | Perc: +14, SM: +13 | Speed 30 | Lay on Hands: 15/15, Smite Evil: 1/4, Med. I was expecting that we waited until Ezren (or Flinders) had their 8 hours and hour of studying before we moved on. We could even do before and after sleep and study?
Ezren can tell you he will need at least1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 hours to work the mechanism out - you cannot avoid that all get fully transformed.
Male Human (Taldan) Paladin of Abadar 11 | HP94/94 | AC: 25 (12 tch, 23Fl) | CMB: +15, CMD: 29 | F: +17, R: +11, W: +15 | Init: +1 | Perc: +14, SM: +13 | Speed 30 | Lay on Hands: 15/15, Smite Evil: 1/4, Med. It would have taken hours to assess the orrery. I assumed that you slept, esp., with Bart throwing him down to sleep. That's how am running it now. Was just making my point, when you get back to the orrery Ezren will need to spend two hours before he can roll for spellcraft - exposing you all for two hours to the island - and you need to save every hour!
Female human cleric of Sarenrae 7 HP: 59/59| AC: 19/11/19 | Fort: +7| Ref: +4| Will: +10| Init: +0| Perc: +4| CMB: +7| CMD: 18| scimitar: +8;1d6+3| Sling: +5;1d4+2| channel positive energy 5/7day (DC 17, 6d6 [+7 vs. undead]) |
We'll take the save.......
I'll risk the save...

So a straight jump check, or is it more complicated?
Straight jump check, but no running start.

Thanks for running Ezren while I traveled. I'm back now.
In the end you figure you need to go down there.
As we are coming to the end, I would need everyone's PFS numbers and character names.

Flinders Offendurr PFS#: 65114-4

And I guess I will hold this until I get a character to 7th level, if I have to specify a character to hold it for... then pfs#99469-1 - Poshgallum

Yes, you have to specify a character and keep it on that character. You can't let it "float" around until one of your characters reaches 7. Unfortunately this also means if that character happens to die before 7 this chronicle can't be used.
Bartholomew Robert Flaxseed PFS#: 55162-11
