Blinking his eyes, Seren remembers where he is with a start and rolls to the side, leaping up. He takes a quick shot at the derro, calling glob of acid.

Round Eleven
Initiative Order: Segang, Melianthe, Cherias, Seren [12], Derro [10] \\ Absinthe [12]

Segang's long spear takes the derro necromancer by surprise, leaving a deep gash in its leg.

Melianthe moves over to use her healing scroll on Cherias, bringing him to consciousness. He reacts quickly, channeling a healing burst to the group and bringing Seren around. Seren stands and hurls an acid glob at the stunned derro, taking advantage of its stupor.

The acid burn seem to finally break its stun, and it reacts desperately, snatching its sword off the floor and stabbing at Absinthe, leaving a small cut. She counters with a strong hit from her mace.

The derro spell-caster snarls at Segang and quickly retreats, withdrawing out of sight into the narrow tunnel.

Absinthe gets an AoO vs the derro, which may or may not finish it off.

Oh, I thought we were still waiting and that's why a new map hadn't been sent out. The lone derro fights back screaming, making one last ineffective stab at Absinthe before she and Segang cut him down.

Round Thirteen
Initiative Order: Derro [10] \\ Absinthe, Segang, Melianthe, Cherias, Seren [12]

Cherias walks over to heal Segang, who tries to regain his wind. Melianthe looks around for magical traces, finding nothing of note. Seren draws a scroll and turns invisible.

You gain a moments warning, the clack and clatter of bone feet on stone, before a human skeleton walks in from the dark-shrouded eastern passage. The derro necromancer flies up immediately behind it, casting a spell and gesturing at Melianthe. A ghostly hand flies across the space, brushing her torso and draining life energy with its chilling touch.

Absinthe explodes into a flurry of motion. She drops into a roll, bounces out of it and uses the skeleton warrior as a stepping stone to leap at the Derro spellcaster. The sound of her mace falling to the ground has barely faded before she strikes at the source of her rage, her eyes glowing like embers. If she manages to grab the wretched creature, Absinthe slings her arms, legs and tail around it and bears it down to the ground.

"I have had ENOUGH of you, you filthy, corpse-grubbing maggot!" she shouts.

Melianthe pulls out her scroll of Web Bolt and casts it at the necromancer. "Now cast, you annoying gadfly," she hisses.


Round Fourteen
Initiative Order: Absinthe, Segang, Melianthe, Cherias, Seren [12], Derro [10]

Absinthe roars and makes to leap over the skeleton and derro, but the undead reacts faster that she anticipated, slashing its rusted blade at her in mid-leap. While Absinthe manages to avoid a wound, the counter is enough to interrupt her forward progress.

Segang moves over, his weariness visible, but manages to get his spear by the skeleton with enough power to hit the derro spellcaster. He curses and spits in his bizarre tongue.

Melianthe uses her scroll and sends a ball of webbing at the derro. Nimbly, the necromancer ducks aside, avoiding the glob. Cherias picks up his crossbow, while Seren grabs Absinthe's mace and looks for an opening in the melee.

The derro moves back from undead minion, getting away from Segang's spear, and gestures towards the Shoanti. Again, a ghostly hand flies forth, this time damaging Segang with its chilling touch. The skeleton slashes at Absinthe once more, but she easily avoids it.
