The priestess draws forth her whip as she moves up behind the melee combatants, waiting for the right moment.

Round Five
Initiative Order: Seren [17], Demitri, Melianthe [16], Absinthe [14], Rosa [9], Segang [6], Thugs, Bloo, Yargin [1]
The Lambs continue to scatter, trying to get out of the melee. Seren fires an arrow across the room, but his target sees him aiming and ducks behind the railing in time.
Demitri swings his longsword, but the swarthy thug narrowly dodges the attack. Melianthe calls him out, and he has to make a double-take on the elf; still, her words leave him noticeably shaken. Absinthe ends his distress, leaping over the catwalk railing to close on him, before driving her rapier through his torso. Gasping and gurgling, the man drops to the boards.
Rosa draws her whip and moves up behind Segang, her words making little difference to the already disengaged children... except for one, a taller boy who steps forward with a shovel full of rancid fish slurry, and hurls it at the thug facing Segang. Unfortunately, his aim is poor and it only spatters across their feet. Segang slashes out, but the foe parries with his own blade. He ripostes, but Segang narrowly avoids it.
Bloo keeps snapping at Dimitri, but has yet to penetrate his armor.
Another foe steps in, swinging a studded club at Absinthe. What looks like a sure hit suddenly flies wide, as the man slips on a patch of slurry at the last second.
The woman moves down the catwalk, hurling another dart at Melianthe, and cursing as she again misses high.
"No, I ain't Lamm. And yer come to tha wrong place!" The blonde man takes up a wand, pointing it at Absinthe and shooting a small ball of acid her way. She doesn't even have to move, as it hits the floor a few feet short.

Round Six

Seren takes aim on the acid hurler and lets fly and arrow, clipping the man. He howls in pain, badly over-exaggerating the wound. "Why would I tell you bastards anything?! You come into our place unwelcome and killing everyone you see. Go to Hell!"
Demitri and Absinthe spar with their foe, but he parries and dodges their blows. Melianthe casts a hex at the dart thrower, and without delay she slumps to the boards, snoring.
Rosa calls Calistria to bless the group. Segang swings and hits his opponent, dropping him bleeding to the floor.
Absinthe's foe counters with his club, slamming her hard in the chest. Bloo continues to harry Demitri ineffectively.
The blonde man snarls at the sleeping woman and moves to her. "Get up, slut. We don't pay you to sleep on the job!" He gives her a swift kick, breaking the sleeping spell. Groggy, she gets back to her feet.

Round Seven

Seren fires another arrow at Yargin, missing the mark by a few feet. Demitri slashes at the thug assailing Absinthe, leaving a bloody gash along his shoulder. Absinthe stabs, missing, before retreating a few steps, getting within Rosa's reach for a healing spell. Segang jumps the railing, brushes past Absinthe to take her spot, and drops the foe with a powerful overhead chop.
Melianthe casts a hex on Yargin, who is already struggling to keep control of his henchmen. "Do something, you worthless swine! Stop them!" he screams, pointing his wand at Segang. It flashes, but the acid spell fizzles with a pop and hiss. "Damnation! Farking waste of money!" he rants, turning red with anger. Seeing the battle a lost cause, he starts back up the catwalk and runs out the door.
Bloo continues to fight like the enraged mutt he is, finally latching his jaws around Demitri's calf and rending a ragged wound.
Seeing Yargin fleeing out the west exit, the remaining woman drops her darts and throws up her hands.
Still need Rosa's action (heal per OOC), which proc'd on her initiative. All, actions for R8?

Bloo will be out of commission soon. When combat ends, I suggest we tell the Lambs to run to Zellara's via a roundabout way. That's better than them scattering on the street to wind up beggars or picked up by another crew.
Melianthe smiles at the dart holding woman. "Remove all your weapons and kick them away from you, my dear. NOW."

Seren tries to fire an arrow at Bloo, but with all the movement cannot line up a good shot. Demitri winces, but holds off attacking. Segang moves in and dispatches Bloo with a single blow.
Threatened from multiple fronts, the woman removes a dagger from her belt and tosses it away. She is obviously frightened for her life.

Her rapier resting very lightly against the woman's throat, Absinthe leans forward to stare her right in the eye. "One suggests you go out the door, jump in the ocean and swim far away from Korvosa. Do not try to contact Lamm or Yargin. One will find out if you do, and one feels strongly motivated to introduce you to one's mother. She has a masterful hand with the whip.

Bluff 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24. Absinthe isn't into torture, either. I'd feel kind of bad about killing someone who surrendered, seeing as all we know about her is that she's a knife for hire. :$ Provided she runs, I say we need to run down Yargin before he manages to escape into the streets and warns Lamm -- but we also need to do something about these kids.

"Do you know these Lambs, Moon? Can we direct them to a safe house away from here?"
Melianthe taps Segang and Demitri on their shoulders. "Let's move. Yargin will get away, and there's a good chance that despicable light-blasted gutter-drinker Lamm isn't even here, or is leaving as we dawdle."
She chuckles throatily in camaraderie with Absinthe and Rosa. "The Triple Goddess of Moon and Vengeance rises, my sisters. Who needs Aroden?" She loads her crossbow, humming something low in Elven, and gets ready to head for the next room.
