- Cherias, Segang was at 23. He took 16, leaving him at 7, not 8. If you do not drop him from the life link at the start of your turn he will heal 5, and then 10 more from your channel. That will put him at 22.

I don't think that will change his action. Just holding on Segang's...

What Segang does depends on what happens to the golem and if Segang is hit twice again. I would like to wait to see what happens before posting.

Good point... I'll summarize later, but Absinthe's attack will shut down the golem.

Again, the golem will be dead by Absinthe's attack... post your action please.

I find it difficult to post my action in advance in advance when I am near the end of the round and what Segang does depends on actions of those ahead of him. Shall I post in If Then statements?

Seeing the golem finally fall, Segang climbs onto the table and power attacks the ogre from higher ground, unless the ogre is disabled/blinded by the color spray. In this case Segang moves to attack the Dero, unless the Dero is dazed, in which case he might choose to grapple the Dero. He shifts all his controlled rage back into strength prior to the attack.

Round Four
Initiative Order: Cherias [5] \\ Seren [21], Melianthe [17], Absinthe [16], Golem [15], Segang [12], Cabbagehead [10]

Cherias calls down a burst of healing over the group, while Seren slides over the top of the table, scattering alchemical equipment. Seren casts quickly, waving his hand in a spray of dazzling colors. Cabbagehead roars at the rainbow assault, but he manages to keep his (limited) wits about him. Melianthe follows a moment later with a dazing spell and has more luck; Cabbagehead wavers in confusion.

Absinthe smashes the golem again, this time feeling a satisfying crunch on impact. Something inside the monster snaps, and the magical bonds holding it together begin to unravel. The myriad pieces of creatures fall away into a meaty pile.

Segang hops on the table and moves to attack Cabbaghead. Unfortunately, the table wobbles under his weight during the swing, shifting his aim wide.

The derro steps back, casting a spell to envelop the east tunnel in magical darkness.

When Absinthe calls out her warning, Cherias turns his head to see the panel (or what's coming out of it) but doesn't stop his concentration on the spell.

Round Five
Initiative Order: Cherias [5] \\ Seren [21], Melianthe [17], Absinthe [16], Segang [12], Cabbagehead, Derro [10]

Cherias begins a long summoning and Absinthe calls out her warning. Seren creates the illusion of a fleeing derro, hoping the ogrekin will fall for the ruse, but the brute takes little note of it.

Melianthe moves to the east tunnel entrance and belches forth a crawling mass of spiders. They move towards the derro, whose white eyes go wide in surprise. The spiders cover its legs and bite, eliciting a shout of pain.

Absinthe leaps onto the table and uses it to circle around Cabbagehead, slamming the ogrekin in the flank with her mace. Segang takes advantage of the advantage, smashing him also. Cabbagehead grunts and roars, swinging his fists wildly, but with enough sense to move out of the flank. He lands a powerful punch into Segang's kidney.

The derro in the east tunnel hastily retreats from the spider swarm, but once clear he gestures at Melianthe and barks a magic word, evoking a sonic blast over her and Absinthe and annihilating the spiders.

To the north, the secret panel opens and another derro charges in, stabbing a poisoned sword at Seren. The half-elf dodges the strike. Another figure shambles in, the zombified remains of an unfortunate kobold. A third derro stands at the north entrance, this one older and grizzled, wearing a blood-stained smock. He casts an arcane spell, sending three bolts of force into Cherias's chest.

Damage may require a concentration check. Otherwise, need the position for the earth elemental.

Seren steps back and casts his dazzling spray at the zombie and derro. The zombie ignores the magic, but it blasts the senses of the derro, leaving him blinded and stunned.

Melianthe's sleep hex is effective and the eastern derro crumbles to the floor. Absinthe runs up to sleeping foe and pauses a moment. (@ Absinthe: question on whether you'd hold your attack and perform a coup d'grace next round, if desired. Otherwise, you hit as rolled.)

Segang swings his hammer at Cabbagehead but the brute sidesteps the predictable blow. He counters with a fist into Segang's jaw. "Rolth give me big reward for your ugly head!" he taunts crudely.

The zombie closes to threaten Seren again. The derro magic-user cackles and flies across the room and over the table to slap Cherias on the shoulder. On touch, Cherias feels his life force drained away, and the room fades out as he falls unconscious.

In the eastern tunnel, Absinthe ends the derro's life with a merciful touch.

Segang slams Cabbaghead, feeling the crunch of bones and bruised flesh through his weapon, before hopping down to stand over Cherias. If our DM keeps rolling so well this will be a TPK. Serin with from full to down in one round. That would have dropped Segang too. My weapon is ill suited for the zombie though and its as bit a threat as the Ogrekin.
