Round Four
Initiative Order: Derro [26], Melianthe [22], Absinthe, Seren [19], Segang [15], Cherias [8]
Melianthe moves out of the tunnel entrance, standing and casting a hex on the ambushing derro. Absinthe follows her quarry, hitting the derro with a throat punch. It chokes a cough, and spits a curse in its language.
Seren exits the tunnel and enters the darkness, edging along the east wall. Segang spins on his new attacker, swinging wildly with his hammer but only hitting the wall. Lastly, Cherias stands and fires his crossbow, hitting Absinthe's foe in the side.
The derro backs away from her again, firing its crossbow a third time, but Absinthe lurches aside, avoiding the bolt. Segang's attacker stabs again with its polearm, but hampered by the hex it just deflects off his armor.
A third derro comes around the corner to the north, shouting a mystic syllable and pointing at Seren. A loud blast of sound hits him, Melianthe and Cherias, enough to stun the senses.
(Sound burst: Sonic Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8 and a DC 15 Fort save or be stunned for 1 round.)

Cherias takes no further damage from Segang or Absinthe (Lifelink is still active) but claps his hands over his large, sensitive ears as the sound burst hits him. He then channels another burst of healing, excluding the derro nearby, so that all his fellows are healed.
Absinthe and Segang should be at full now. Cherias is at 9, while Melianthe and Seren should both be at 1 HP damage. Cherias will end the lifelink to Absinthe and Segang as a swift action, since he isn't able to absorb so much damage now.

Trying to smash the little dark man again Segang lifts and lets fall the large hammer in a power attack.

Round Five

Melianthe and Seren are momentarily stunned by the sound blast, but Cherias keeps his wits and reduces the concussive damage with a burst of healing.
Absinthe continues to harry her opponent, kicking at his crotch. The derro hops out the way, backing up and firing again. It laughs as it pierces Absinthe with yet another bolt.
Segang brings his hammer down with the fading remnants of rage, crushing the derro beneath its weight. The derro, badly wounded, counters with another stab before retreating a few feet into the tunnel.
The new arrival closes in on Melianthe, trying to take advantage of her stunned state. The derro swings haphazardly, and Melianthe is still able to avoid the blow.
Inputs for R6? Segang will have to crawl/squeeze to follow blue into the tunnel, if so desired.

Melianthe calls another hex and begins cackling, but her new foe doesn't appear to be affected. Absinthe somersaults over the table to come to Melianthe's aid, but the derro sees her coming and parries the stab aside. Seren steps over, stabbing blindly and hitting only air.
At the other side of the room, Segang swaps weapons and jabs the longspear into the tunnel. The shaft clatters along the wall, but makes no fleshy contact. Cherias begins a lengthy summoning spell.
Segang's foe backs further into the tunnel, then says a word of magic. Another clamorous blast erupts in the room, this time only affecting Segang.
"అగ్ని పర్వతం యొక్క పార్శ్వము ఆమె! భూతం స్పాన్ కిల్!" the crossbow-weilding derro calls to his partner, pointing at Absinthe. He drops the crossbow and draws a small short sword, moving to flank and attack while the other derro spins to do the same. She avoids the hook polearm, but takes a raking cut across the back.

"Vermin!" Absinthe snarls, even as she takes a smooth, gliding step backwards. Her rapier flashes in the gloom as she jabs at the derro closest to her companions.
Absinthe 5 ft.-steps to T10, ending the enemy flank, and attacks the derro at U11. Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6.

OK, I can see where everyone has gone now, not much movement this turn. Good! Cherias will complete his summon and a small earth elemental will appear at V8, flanking with Abby.
Cherias's prayers are answered and from the very rock rises a small form, about the size of a gnome, made of rock and earth. Its glowing red eyes pierce the darkness and focus on the derro in front of it. Moving with a powerful purpose, the elemental smashes into the foe!

Melianthe tries to use a dazing magic on her opponent, but the derro just shakes it off. Absinthe shifts around to flank the same foe, stabbing him directly through the ribs. Seren stabs blindly, but also makes an effective hit. The derro, now badly wounded, grunts a rude curse in its strange tongue.
Cherias finishes his summoning, and the small earth elemental lands a crunching slam against the second derro. Both foes are battered but still fighting back.

Cherias loads and fires into the melee, clipping the target across the shoulder. The derro hisses and hops out of the melee, calling a mystic syllable and pointing at Cherias. Another sonic blast erupts just behind him, enveloping Cherias, Seren and Melianthe in its waves.
The second derro steps away from the wall, fighting desperately. It stabs at Absinte with its polearm, but she ducks aside to avoid.

"You shall not escape/ You shall not win," Absinthe says, coldly, as she takes another smooth sideways step -- and runs the spellcasting Derro through the chest, and quite possibly the heart.

The Elemental disappears into the earth below its feet, gliding through the stone and popping out of the wall to the derro's right. Using earthglide, which lets the earth elemental move through rock freely. while under the ground, no attacks of opportunity are possible. It comes out at T7, so it's mostly out of the rock wall and available to be attacked -- if the derro survives.
Slam, power attack, flanking with Absinthe: 1d20 + 7 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 1 + 2 = 21

Segang recovers from being stunned but is not turned around and in the dark. Seems like I got skipped in there somewhere. Was Segang stunned in round 6 or 7?
Holding his spear defensively he calls out Absinthe, where are they? You are my eyes!
If someone directs him he will move and attack. If not, he will stand and defend himself, attacking if someone attacks him.

Round Eight
As the din of the sound burst fades, Absinthe shifts and stabs the derro again, pinpointing a vital spot. The derro groans and collapses. Cherias's elemental melds into the stone, popping up on the other side of the remaining foe. With a crushing strike, it knocks the last derro to the ground. The dark room settles into silence.
End of Combat!
Searching the derro, they each wear leather armor, carry small short swords and repeating light crossbows. You also find 16 gold and 45 silver coins.
Sent out an updated map of the area explored thus far.

Melianthe attempts to be unobtrusive as she lets Hloire out of hiding to delicately chew at a bit of derro. She looks at the repeating crossbow with a hopeful light in her eyes, then remembers she cannot use a repeating bow. "Well. Northward?"
Do we need to all roll for R8 sonic damage/stunning?

Cherias pants, then groans as he heals himself. 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 He calls to the Elemental, using gestures and pantomime to try to make himself understood. "You-" -- he points at the elemental -- "go there-" -- he points in the direction of the secret door that the derro ducked into near segang -- "kill-" -- he punches his fist into his hand -- "one like this" -- he points at a dead derro. He hopes the elemental may be able to understand, even though he does not speak Terran.
If the Elemental is able to understand, hopefully it will dive into the earth and go to try to find the derro that ducked into the passage. Unfortunately there's only one round left of its summoning, so unless it's able to reach the creature in under 40 ft of movement in order to charge, it will disappear at the end of the turn. However, if it is able to do this, that's what it should do.
"I don't know if the elemental will kill that derro, we need to hurry. I don't think we can last much longer -- we need rest and healing potions. Even if it gives them time to regroup, we need to head up to the surface and recover. I think that northern tunnel leads to one of the rooms we already went through."
Is anyone besides Cherias hurt?
