Noro looks to Sunny swimming in the water wondering what to do.

Shuuny, get to the ship and get that damn cannon to blow this plant thing into nexsht week.

Noro readies to attack any vine that comes at her or any other crew member in the boat.

The plant shudders from the cold, dropping Kyranda and Jax.

1 is into water. 2 is onto boat.

Kyranda falls on Dimitrious, a yielding surface.
Dimitrious reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 Enough for half damage.
Dimitrious sees Kyranda falling and holds out his arms to help break the fall. It helps a little but they both get bruised.
Dimitrious Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4) = 8

Kyranda took, 7 lethal and 3 non lethal. Dimitrious took 4 lethal.

She orders the ship's locker opened and any bow r x-bows brought out. Organizing material to be torn into strips and for pitch and alcohol to be brought up on deck.

I forgot to do anything with Calah last round so I will have her summon another ice elemental with the wand of summon nature's ally that they found earlier. The creature will appear this round and attack the plant, meanwhile Calah will start summoning another. Does augment summoning work on summoned creatures with a wand or scroll? In that case add 2 to to hit and to dmg.

Calah decides to use the wand of summon nature's ally II they found earlier to summon another ice elemental to harry the plant.

The ice elemental that appeared this round starts to slam the plant.

I don't know how I missed that. I guess I thought the tentacle was the entire creature. Time to use a new power!

Arjun leaps from the rowboat. Rather than splashing and sinking into the water, however, he dashes across the surface toward the plant monster.

Light Steps (Ex) - As a full-round action, he can move up to twice his speed, ignoring difficult terrain. While moving in this way, any surface will support him, no matter how much he weighs. This allows him to move across water, lava, or even the thinnest tree branches.

Taking a flanking position, Arjun slashes with his blade.

I plan on letting the plant grab me to avoid having to worry about swimming.

fly check for Havok to hover: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13 oh no it was only DC 15, does he have some other ability that let's him hover that I don't know about. Otherwise he will need to spend part of his turn moving. He will still get the beak crit either way.
AOO if Havok can't hover: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 292d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 6) + 12 = 22 falling damage: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) = 5
Havok had a large bite taken out of him, falling unconscious, he crashes into the water below. He fall down was truly graceful landing almost perfectly in the water. i have him at -5 with one non lethal
Would have occurred on Calah's turn, before Kyranda's channel. Putting him back up to positive 6 If he has some ability that let's him take a 10 on fly or has his AC higher than 29 or something similar let me know and none of this will have happened.

@ Calah, There are abilities that let you add your feats ect. to your wands but that is not the norm.

Kyranda is hit once again. The vine wraps arround her, Noro give the vine a hard punch nearly severing it in two. The vine recoils pulling Kyranda 30 feet into the air. 1 real damage and 1 str damage

The third vine lashes down at Noro

Provoking an attack of opportunity.
Noro hits the punches the vine just as it begins it's grapple.

Your AOO made the difference.
Noro's hit was just enough to allow her to deftly dodge out from under the vine.

*Opens core rule book* Ah falls into water are different then falls onto a yielding surface.
The damage from the fall would be nonlethal: 1d3 ⇒ 2
The channel would have more than gotten rid of that.
I am going to go ahead and roll the acrobatics for Havok just to get us past this time warp.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 he made it. He never fell, but will need to make the check each round as the plant thrashes around. If he fails the check he will need to make the fly check to hover or else he will need to use his move to fly arround. Sorry for the retcon, we had a different understanding of what Havok was doing.

To recap,
Suny is on the ship directing the crew to bring the cannon to bear.
Kyranda is 30 feet in the air grappled by the vine Still able to channel just fine.
Havok and an ice elemental are on top of the center of mass of vines.
Everyone else is in the jolly boat.

Sunny is getting flaming arrows/x-bow bolts set up first. More crew can shoot more things and do more damage that way... :P

Getting the cannon set up will be more technical and time consuming, but it is definately on the 'To do killing the monster' list!

One of the ice elementals loses his footing when the giant plant wiggles and twists as it tries to fight off the adventurers.
Havok meanwhile fights far more efficiently, clawing bits of wood left and right from the plant.

Calah meanwhile will jump in the water and swim to the boat to order people there to fire at the plant with the cannon.

Some of the quicker crew members begin to shoot a volley of arrows at the plant.

Suny is beginning to understand what they are doing but the gun crew is too practiced for her to be of much help.

Calah makes it back to the ship and begins climbing the net that is cast down over the side. I had you "run" back to the ship so you can make it the waterline. Your orders are still heard.

Another two bolts of force impact the plant, it is looking a little worse for the wear.

Noro suddenly feels incredibly light, as if she could fly.

Kyranda and Noro still have actions.

As far as the possibility of hitting Kyranda, I want to make it extremely unlikely but there is a small possibility with scatter dice. Because I designed the scattering to work in 2D not 3D, here is how I will adjudicate it. If the gun crew rolls a Nat 1 AND then they confirm by rolling again and roll high enough to hit her AND the scatter dice result with no deviation THEN and only then will Kyranda be hit. Extremely unlikely but still a tiny possibility.

Looking up at the center of the plant, Noro squints just a little taking aim and with a grin on her face she leaps up toward the plant.
