The cannon ball rips through what remains of the foliage.
I have never seen something of this CR taken out mostly by magic missile :)
Kyranda is unceremoniously dropped once more.

"Tha' todgers be outside!" So saying she scampers back up on deck and peers over the railings to try and garner a look-see at whatever/whomever might be making like a wood worm.

Also, does Mistress Kyranda need a helping hand to get back to the boat?

"Bloody heck, someone is scuttling the ship. We have company lads, some swimmers in the water." Calah calls out.
For now she tries to close the holes by using the warp wood spell, but she sends over the carpenter to get reinforcements.
.Suny.
Suny has orders to give the crew on deck, but will await more information from DM and indication that she's caught up with the 'time' to do it etc.
MichaelCullen
@Calah, damage control on a ship is not about 100% solutions. Usually an 80% solution is enough to keep the ship out of danger. Between your profession sailor and the warp wood spell you think you have bought enough time for your crew to get down here and go about saving the ship. It still needs work but you think they can handle it from here.
@Suny, if you head up now, it will take you one turn to get to the edge of ship and one turn to swim "run" to the jolly boat.
@Jax, are you waiting for Kyranda to get in or are your just paddling?

ok to be clear, from Noro's spot, is the plant thing dead? and does she have any idea what is going on elsewhere?

Suny bounces to attention at Master Arjun's question. (^_^)
At work. Read about Cleric falling into row-boat, good-o no immediate needs for rescuing them quite yet. Suny has an idea or two too help. Will await her 'turn' and such.
Calah Riptide
Calah returns to the upper deck of the ship and jumps into the water, looking around for any dangerous creatures about trying to sabotage her ship!

"We rig up somat ta' catch them's below iwth. MOst crew can't get ta' them? Right enough! We be bringinnin' some of 'em ta' US!"
(So, plan is to make a sling/net/big piece of canvas of netting supported by ship's masts/rigging/spars to go trawling for them what's makin' holes in tha' boat)

I meant to say, make the ship move as fast as possible, the main ship, that is before it sinks. It is like the Titanic, it took 4 hours for that to sink, so this is a race to get it to land before it sinks.

I meant to say, make the ship move as fast as possible, the main ship, that is before it sinks.
I don't think there's anything shallow enough to count as a beach around the place. :(
Still, Dim's got things controlled for now. Later we can wrap sails and what-not over the holes to slow the leaks enough for the pumps to keep ahead. *Fun fact, the Titanic sank because her boilers became flooded and she couldn't keep pumping water out. .
MichaelCullen
To clarify the situation Calah and Sunny are at the ship. If they want to get to the jolly boat they are one turn away by a run action while swimming. The whole in the boat seems to have been a distraction as the Jolly Boat is now surrounded. Luckily the group had high enough perceptions to make out the movement below, this allowed Kyranda to get back into the jolly boat. It also prevented a surprise round.

not that either, only attacks that require attack rolls. Rule of thumb i use, if it can crit then everything else applies

The remaining Sahuagin slip back beneath the waves, their sharks in tow.
A narrow earthen opening ascends into the cliff above. The cave mouth is a tight fit behind the screening vines and roots, but it looks accessible with a little effort. As you head up you pass a wooden boom, rotten after years of not being used in the damp jungle. It looks like it could have been used to hoist a decent amount of weight when it was built.
Down in the hold, the crew has already begun chipping away at some of the hardening foam. Some of the crew seems Leary after seeing you attacked by a large plant creature. Others seem to be in good spirits having seen the Sahuagin driven off below. As you climb back aboard Shabe hands you a bottle of Whisky he had picked up in port. You all look like you could use a quick swig. I have never seen a thing like that. I guess it shows that we have good luck to have beaten it.
Dimitrious Black
Thank you, Shabe. But I must pass on the whiskey. I ...Well lets just say liquor and I don't get along. Dimitrious says allowing himself a brief grin he adds Oh by the way I would'nt call it luck that we overcame the beast
He will then begin spamming mending wherever needed

Calah Riptide
After making sure to have left word on the ship for a guard in the lower levels in case the fismen try something like that again, Calah joins the others ashore. She heals up her companion from the wounds he received from the giant plant. 4 charges of the CLW wand if you are ok with taking 5 on those
"Let's head into the skull cave guys. Beware of any traps and ambushes. I'm fear there might be more Sahuagin about and they have just been warned of our arrival."
