The water is about a waist deep, getting a little taste of it in your mouth you can tell that it is salt water, you must be at seas level. Looking at the walls of the cave it is clear that this section floods out when the tide comes in.
The cave slopes downward leading into a larger room.

Yeah it is kind of a weird concept for a spellcaster, I was imagining flying ovet to enemy ships and unloading silent still magic missiles and causing all kinds of chaos

Sory for the delay in posting, real life has been overly busy, hopefully that is behind me now.
To the west D3 the tunnel rises above sea level, creating an air pocket in this chamber. The floor is sand and a few items of furniture are scattered about, including a table, a poorly repaired chair, a bed with a sagging frame, and a crude fence of driftwood in the rear of the chamber. The entire cavern is overgrown with vines bearing tiny violet flowers that fill the room with a cloying fragrance.

To the south the cave continues partially submerged. A small trail of slime heads in that direction.

Suny and Dimitrious head into the dry portion if the cave in order to check out the vines.

Suny and Dimitrious:
Getting closer to the vines you can see that the flowers are in the shape of small faces. A tiny breeze can be heard arround them, despite being in a secluded part of the cave. The flowers give off a little pollen and you begin to feel tired.
Suny seems unaffected.

Jax is likewise unaffected by the pollen, the fire set forth from his hands burns the pollen out of the air even as Suny drags Dimitrious away from the plants. The plants begin to slowly move toward Dimitrious's body.

Calah recognizes the plants as xtabay, small carnivorous plants that lure prey to sleep before draining their bodies.

Looking about the room you notice a few personal effects in the chamber, though beneath the bed is a large glass jar filled with alcohol that holds the preserved, severed head of a vicious-looking Tian man with pock-scarred cheeks, a tattoo of a kraken on his forehead, and all his teeth broken out.

DC 25 local:
the head belongs to the Tian pirate Soshimira, captain of the Dragon’s Dishonor, who disappeared on the Fever Sea decades ago.

The party has no issue getting past the crab, the cave ahead. To the south narrows a bit.
Dimitrious moves ahead and finds the next room filled with Sahuagin. They seem bored and while awake, they are not paying much attention. One splashes another, which causes the splashed one to shove the splasher. The one who was shoved walks away and sits down grumpily.
Go ahead and place yourself in the order you would like to be in going through the tunnel.

some quick questions:
1. is this all underwater?
2. Noro is back at the entrance, so should I just move round by round to get there or just pop her over to the fish-men.
3. do I need swim checks to fight? or to move?

The waist deep water is difficult terrain unless you have a swim speed. And roger on the ring.
