Dimitrious looks on like a child at christmas at the work being done with a mixture of excitement and greed.

Pulling back the floor boards is not hard. Beneath is a trove of treasures set for a king. A quick application of detect magic reveals not much here. A pair of acrobat slippers and a a set of eyes of the eagle. However even a rudimentary appraise check would reveal wealth beyond most's dreams.

And about 5 grand in fine art including a large painting of Aroden and a chandelier.
80,000 gold in mundane loot.

Your crew will expect around 20% of the loot. Pay them that and they will be content. Pay them more and attract more competent crew-members pay less and some of your crew will begin to grumble and eventually leave. Pay them nothing and they are liable to mutiny.

What you do next is up to you. If you wish to use this as a base of operations and as a place to get tax money from you will need to leave someone to guard the keep. Both Fishguts Kroop and Sandra have proven their worth in the past. Kroop has a drinking problem however if you consider that an issue. Grok is good with numbers and would make a decent choice. And of course there is always the newly weds Kayla and Schabe. You could use another crew member such as One Tooth Mike or one of his friends from squibs as well. If you would like you could load up the loot and head into a port to grab gear and more supplies before pursuing your next adventure.

I say give the crew 25-30% share they earned it putting up with me.I suggest leaving Sandra and Grok in charge here and maybe owlbear for some muscle Owlbear is still with us right?

I say make this a base of operation for now, and lets keep the fact we control it a secret.

Noro will party well into the night with Sunny as well as many of the crew that will party with her.

I would suggest Grok with owlbear. Calah has an eye on Sandra so keeping her close is of interest to her ;). 20% for the crew seems fine. Though keeping it secret is nice, I think it is important to gain reputation as well... I think going into port for some selling of loot and getting magical items seems like a good idea. I'm afraid I won't be able to lvl up till this weekemd though.

Suny is more than happy to drink, dance, shimmy, shake, bounce, flounce, laugh and giggle with her friend Noro. Suny finds Isabella's pretty patterns intriguing as well.

Suny is more inclined to give her fellow crew mates a bigger share of the shine people have found (Say more like 30 to 40%)

As for people being talked about 'Staying behind'? She'd be more inclined to maybe ask Grok, Kayla and Schabe. Because grok seems to Bundestag shine better and the couple seem really nice and sweet and so them being here would be a little bit safer than getting shot at by other Pirates.

Also, going and hiring more people for the ship so we can better transfer trusted crew to the tower would be a good idea. Plus there's shine to hand over for other stuff.

Going into town and spreading shine about seems like a right great idea!

The Captain may be interested in Sandra but Isabella has much prettier things about herself. (^_^)

Eventually as the night wears on Noro makes her way to the roof of the keep, with probably the last bottle of rum. and sits watching the stars. nursing that last bottle so that it does not vanish all too quickly.

noro had wandered to the room of the keep and watched the stars for a bit, she finished the rum bottle she brought with her and drifted to sleep.

the rays of the morning sun hit Noro in the eyes waking her up at the crack of dawn.

she checks the rum bottle, finding it empty she tosses the empty bottle across the roof, shattering it on the stone.

Noro makes her way downstairs as the rest are loading the loot and other stuff back to the ship. her eyes a little glazed over but she still has her wits about her.

Suny skips and bounces around helping where ever and how ever she can to get the stuff that's going gone and the stuff that's staying stowed.

Back aboard and a little heavier in the water from your new found treasure the crew finds seems to be in good spirits, saying things like the ship must be blessed and Besmara's fortune must be upon us.
Checking her charts Calah is able to piece together what the map on Isabella seems to be depicting. A small un named group of islands in the western Shackles.

As far as purchasing limits, Port Peril is probably the only settlement in the shackles to effectively not have one with the amount of gold we are talking about. Smaller places like Squibs certainly would. Later on you may need to sail to the inner sea to find some truly rare items. Just make sure you don't look like a bunch if pirates or you'll run the risk of having the Chelish navy after you.

Okay just went back and looked, I cannot find where Noro got healing, so right now she is down 33 HP (healed 5 from resting) that puts her down 28 now.

Noro made her way back to the ship carrying supplies gathered for the journey, well at least what she could carry.

a couple of times she almost decked Dimitrious for poking her with some stick. sometimes I wonder if he secretly enjoys it...

Once ready to cast off, Noro resumes her duties of the crew, working in the area she seems most adept at, swabbie.

Her wounds are healed but there are a few scars that remain, and her demeanor seems a little more...isolated. but she does not let that detract her from her work.

I would be glad to heal anyone wounds and sores. If we're going to be on the boat several days I will make sure that all of the crew is healthy before we land at the port.

Upon arrival in Port Perilyou are greeted by the same Harbor Pilot, he does not seem to recognize you as he asks, "will you be needing a berth for your ship" If you would just like to buy loot at face value just go ahead and post it in discussion or write a quick synopsis in gameplay. Dimitrious would like to.

1. See if he can find out the whereabouts of his old friend Harrigan, maybe how often he comes around to port peril.

2. Find out the cost for chainshot ammo for the cannon

3. Pick up 2 more wands of infernal healing to keep aboard the ship(cost 1500 gp)

4. Pick up 10 bags of foaming powder (cost 100 gp) to keep in case we take on water

Dimitrious makes his way into town. He remembers the location of a blacksmith, Harvey and Son. Inquiring about chain shot Hravey's son Samuel answers I think we could make that. Charge yah say 60 gold per shot. not waiting for a reply he returns to hammering away at what will at some point be a sword. He'll make em if you pay him.

Wands of infernal healing are not easy to come by. They carry a certain conotation but with a couple hours of searching arround you come across a dark alley and an even darker storefront. A wooden sign reading Malicious Magicks hangs over the door. Inside you find the wands.

The foaming powder is easy to find near the docks but Harrigan, now that's a different story. Spending sometime in the local bars you try to ask arround without arising to much suspicion. gather info: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 One of the locals seems willing to spill some information. Harrigan likes to keep a low profile on town. He has er, disagreements with the local authorities. But he does come to town every month or so. Why, now that's a good question.
