Ridic Slaranack |

Does it look like someone buried them, or does it look like the skeletons themselves hid under the sand? In other words, are there numerous footprints in the sand around them, or does it look like one set waled over to their burial spots?

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon will also scan the area for tracks. "Let's give these skeletons a wide berth. It is possible that they may re-animate."
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon nods at Ridic as he points out the footsteps in the sand, "You have keen eyes my friend. Are you able to follow the tracks? I am curious on what or who would go through the trouble to bury the bones."
Urgeon will follow the druid with caution.

DM Fflash |

The party tentatively steps out into the sand, but Ridic loses sight of the tracks almost as soon as he starts following them, when a wisp of ... wind (underground?) blows over what he was looking at. As he stares about, he notices the covered skeleton beginning to stir. Glancing around, the others are as well ... all over the area.

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon will take a 5' step back and will begin casting Summon Monster II (Earth Elemental). "Fall back to the entrance so that they can't surround us."

DM Fflash |

Desert Redux Round 1
Initiative: Urgeon, Razorend, Hethuath, Kovax, Skellies, Ridic
The party falls back, Urgeon casting his spell. Ridic is slow to move and one of the skeletons gets within range before he starts backing up. The creature was slowed by having to disengage itself from its sand pile.
Round 2 Actions?

Urgeon Porpentine |

Round 2
Urgeon places the earth elemental near the closest skeleton for melee. Urgeon then moves back into the hallway with the others.
elemental attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Someone will have to melee with them from the tunnel opening - you or Kovax. I will use summons to hopefully destroy one or two. Possibly you tumble out once their numbers are down and begin flanking. Up to you if you have a better idea.

Kovax Exner |

I think the EE will arrive before me, and I am hoping that the skeletons just swarm it, I will wait to see if that is the case and then try and get into a position to fire on as many as I can.
Not sure where that will be yet so I will move once the map updates.
Earth Elementals have Power Attack and also get a +1 to hit and damage to anything that is also touching the ground for free. Keep that in mind

DM Fflash |

Desert Redux Round 1
Initiative: Urgeon, Razorend, Hethuath, Kovax, Skellies, Ridic
Urgeon's elemental arrives and takes a slow lumbering swing at the skellie near it which the nimble undead easily avoids. Razorend holds watching the battle as Kovax moves forward to fire ...
Holding at Kovax's action

Kovax Exner |

Seeing the lay of the land, Kovax says,
"Let's they them all gather on the elemental, once they have, entangle them all together and let me get a shot or two off and we may be able to end this quite quickly"
Kovax will hold his action and only fire if 2 or more try to come into the tunnle

DM Fflash |

The skellies wouldn't have gathered until after Kovaxs turn, my bad. But I don't believe that would've changed his action
Round 1 cont
The skeletons begin to gather around the child-sized rock creature, clawing at it viciously but other than one strike, they can't break through the tough skin.
Meanwhile, Ridic drops a spell that takes the few pieces of scrubbrush and grows them into a mass of tangled nastiness. The first skeleton gets slowed down, but the others keep moving through it. Note entagle has a giant area of affect. Ridic could've moved up and closed off the entrance to the south if he wanted to. Let me know and I'll retcon that

The earth elemental attacks one of the non-entangled skeletons.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Urgeon begins summoning a second earth elemental.

Ridic Slaranack |

Yes let's move it down about 20', it should be about 5' in front of the bottom skellie.
In the future how should we let you know exactly where to center the effect. Can we have rights to create a marker?

Desert Redux Round 2
Initiative: Urgeon, Razorend, Hethuath, Kovax, Skellies, Ridic
Urgeon's elemental swings and destroys the entangled skeleton with a single hammering blow. Urgeon smiles grimly and begins to summon a 2nd creature. Meanwhile, Razorend and Kovax wait with baited breath to see how long the small rock creature can hold the line.
The two skeletons flail at the elemental with their multiple claws striking several times before finally making it crumble to the ground.

Urgeon Porpentine |

Round 2
Urgeon steps out of the passage and will use his wand to grease the area underneath the closest, non-entangled skeleton. The earth elemental appears on the outside of the entangle window and pounds one of the two non-entangled skeletons within melee range.
Elemental Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Desert Redux Round 3
Initiative: Urgeon, Razorend, Hethuath, Kovax, Skellies, Ridic
Ridic moves up to swing at a skeleton but the nimble creature leaps out of the way, seemingly avoiding the twisting tendrils of plant as well. Urgeon finishes his summons and the little rock creature obliterates a nearby skeleton.
Razorend and Kovax move to join their companions, Kovax pausing to take aim and throw out a cone of metal pellets that absolutely shreds the skeletons standing near the edge turning them into bone dust.
The skeleton slowly advance through the entangled terrain, one getting close to Ridic for a swipe but the druid is able to turn aside the blow easily.

Urgeon Porpentine |

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Urgeon orders the elemental to take a 5' step and then attack the skeleton on Ridic.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Urgeon then takes a 5' step and uses his wand to cast grease underneath the furthest skeleton.

DMFflash |

Did you allow me to make a strap so I can quickly sling my gun to my shoulder? I had asked before but I don't remember if you said that was allowed. If not, is it possible to stow the gun, draw the glaive and attack?
If you mean can you have a strap to not use a move action you stow your gun, no.

Desert Redux Round 4
Initiative: Urgeon, Razorend, Hethuath, Kovax, Ridic
Ridic cuts another skeleton down with a wide swath of his scythe and points out the newcomer. Razorend moves to hide and Urgeon drops a grease pile in the midst of the entangled zone sending the bone creature slipping to the ground.
Skellie Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12; fail
Kovax steps up and blows the head off the skeleton a couple paces back leaving only the one on the ground.
As the party watches, it becomes apparent that the creature approaching is the one you destroyed in the overwatch room a couple days ago. Other than missing its gear, it looks exactly the same, green eyes blazing with hatred.
Actions Round 5 ... at Ridic

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon will hold his action, waiting for the creature to get closer. He also holds the elemental on the edge of the entangle spell for now, waiting for the remaining skeleton to get close enough before attacking.
