Feral, I assume advanced rogue talents are as per the base class?
If so, anyone have any thoughts on whether I should go with opportunist (gives me an AoO whenever someone hits in combat!) or crippling strike (does 2 points of Strength damage along with regular damage when I sneak attack)? Both seem very strong.
I haven't looked over them much yet but for now, yes.

Opportunist is very nice - note that it only works 1/round, but it's still very good. Crippling Strike is also nice.

It is a pretty effective multipurpose buff and I've already got a bunch of toys. I vote Jess.

As a side note, this new version of the Sable Company Marine makes me want to pull my hair out. Why is the effective druid level at a -1? Why a two feat tax on top of that? There had to be a better way to balance it.
Since you’re rebuilding anyway, how would you feel about a trait version of Boon companion that gives two animal companion levels instead of four.
Would that make things easier?

That would be lovely, it would functionally be even less since I am unlikely to ever multiclass and it means I can pretty much use my combat style feat for this level to justify what I've been doing this entire time.

Ventus now has Favored Terrain Urban as well as Underground, Favored Enemy (Giant) and Beaks has Power Attack

I wanted to have a general buff in most dungeon-y environments but I've so far forgotten about it too. Would things like ruins and dungeons fall under Urban or Underground?
I kind of depends but underground more often then not.

Dan, that's what I was afraid of. I may tweak Jess' skills from this last level to give her a new language. I'm thinking she may have picked up a few things from exposure to that pit fiend. I'll think about it overnight.

ok, I took one rank out of UMD and added it to linguistics. Debating what to take now: Infernal seems an obvious choice considering the source, but I'm trying to decide if taking Thassilonian is fair. I feel like that's the best choice, but I also feel like it's metagaming a bit...

If it helps, Pirknok also now has a mysterious understanding of Thassilonian (that he isn't aware of, I think, but will probably come up next time we encounter it).

Due to his own personal stuff, Kaplan will be leaving us. Rather than introduce yet another new character (and steal Siolad's new guy status), I have a new player coming to reintroduce a previously retired character. I think he has his eyes on Ensu.
