Nixing the gold advantage in crafting was a houserule I implemented in the beginning.
Crafting does allow you guys to get what you want without needing to hunt it down and/wait as long.

Should I go ahead an adjust my equipment for getting my gear improved?

So, taking 10 for all of them would be a 24 for each one. Would that be enough for the upgrades to their armour?
They were all getting base enhancements right? 24 is plenty.

It takes a few days but Ventus is able to find a ring and buy it.

So my first thought is to ask to speak to the horse and see if she will tell me her name, but that might be pushing too much about what I know about some of the Native American tribes into this.
The other is to name her Warrior's Shield. Based on that is what Ensu does.

I think Ensu makes more sense. You can drop him off and let Jess get ready to get into flanking position. Though I'm certainly willing to have my mind changed.

I think ideally we'd like to get into charge range... Dorfy will probably be fairly low to the ground, both to blend in and so he can drop the gnome without injury. 10-20'?

That works, though it might make more sense to come at them from different directions -- we'll hit 'em high, you hit 'em low? Actually, if fly lasts long enough, we could perhaps come at them from above, where they'd be less likely to expect attack?
And I'd say Dorfy and Jess (and maybe everyone else) should pick one of the stone giants and try to take it out ASAP. Cut the biggest foes down to size more quickly?

Problem with coming at them from above is that I'm gonna have a gnome in tow and need to drop him off somewhars. I like the idea of coming at them from different directions, though... maybe if they see a gnome and a dwarf coming up the hill toward 'em, they won't be too suspicious... and the rest of you can get into a good position on their flanks.
