Lizzie on the other hand waits patiently, mace in hand, for Dr Losandro to come closer!

The cloud wasn't the kind of thing Momijii wanted to fight. It was hard to determine how to fight it, would her fists even touch it? She decided that, in the end, there was no choice but to try. She shifted to her fighting stance and charged at the cloud, hoping that she could actually connect with it and do some damage.

Adopt Dragon Style as per usual.

A logical conclusion, there aren't any rules for doing so in the AP. I'm going to rule that holding your breath gives you +4 on the save but you'll need to start making con saves to continue holding your breath. Apparently you can do that for as many rounds as your constitution score in combat, which seems kinda high but whatever.

Palace of Birdsong| War for the crown maps

She was stooping, probably due to blood loss and you jumped ;)

With her death the multi-coloured mists stop issuing from the mouth of Dr Losandro, and both Momijii and Heinrich are woken up by Filbert and Luxina. It seems during their breif state of catatonia they had further unsettling dreams.

In Administrator Losandro’s office you find a number of interesting and
modestly valuable curios, the most valuable being a brain-shaped sculpted wooden box, bookends depicting twin screaming and crying figures, and a brass sculpture of an Osirian pyramid. Each of the three items is worth 50 gold pieces.

Kn: Local (DC 14):
You recognize a number of mundane but remarkable texts in Dr Losandro's personal library: On the Treatment of Ambitions, Disappointments, and Regrets by Doctor Beaurigmand Trice, On Violent Sands by Doctor Henri Meirtmane, and a signed copy of Ailson Kindler’s Galdyce’s Guest: Feast of the Nosferatu. Each book weighs 2
pounds and is worth 100 gp.

On Dr Losandro’s body:
You find a ring bearing a number of keys.

Disable Device DC 18:
In Losandro's deak drawer you find: magnifying glass, two vials of alchemist’s kindness, a vial of smelling salts, two vials of soothe syrup, 4 doses of antitoxin,
2 doses of opium, a scroll of fox’s cunning, two scrolls of remove paralysis. A candle DC 21. A tin containing incense DC 19, a rabbit's foot on a thin silver chain DC 20, a braided leather cord holding two fox's feet DC 16.

On Top of her desk:

Oathday: Another unexpected call from Count Lowls. These have become so common and Lowls’s focus is so singular that they no longer leave me apprehensive. He requested to see me after his visit with Zandalus, though. He claims to have a theoretical solution for the poor man’s condition. I don’t know what the count and my prized patient have been discussing and Lowls again refused to share but I doubt that lordly amateur psychologist has truly hit upon anything of worth. Regardless, I’d be a fool not to humor my liege.

Starday: Lowls’s ”solution” was not at all what I expected. I have no clue where he turned it up, but on his most recent visit he brought along a copy of Valhadis’s The Chain of Nights, a near-legendary collection of psycho-arcane studies and treatments focused on dreaming. While I abhor arcane tampering, if there’s a permanent solution to Zandalus’s nightmares, it could be here. Lowls allowed me to study the text for the duration of his visit, but staunchly refused to leave it in my possession.

Moonday: Lowls has made me an offer: his copy of The Chain of Nights. All I must do in return is accept a handful of new patients [i]former associates of his that have suffered some unprecedented manner of group amnesia. I might accept this as charity on the count’s behalf, but he insists that I keep no record of their committal. The terms make me suspicious, but I can learn more of these curious strangers once they’re in my care. If it means the possibility of a cure for Zandalus and others, I welcome the bargain.

Toilday: The Chain of Nights is a marvel. It will take years of study to unravel all its possibilities, but already I’ve discovered a process by which chronic dreams might be drawn forth and disposed of like so much psychic gristle. Tomorrow our experiment begins.

[spoiler=Kn:Local DC 10 Haserton Lowls and Count Lowls are both names that refer to Count Haserton Pragmus Lowls IV, ruler of the County of Versex in Ustalav.[/spoiler]

Luxina stows away her crossbow and looks through the room, not looking on the body at all, still a little apprehensive about the strange occurences that happened to DR. Losandro.

Filbert I think that's a single target ability? "As a standard action, the kineticist can unleash a kinetic blast at a single target up to a range of 30 feet" Which one do you want to hit? :)

Hp 63/63(NL 21) Temp Hp 16/16 Regen 2/min Burn 3/6 AC 20, T 16, FF 16, F+9, Ref +11, Will +4(+2 vs Illus). Speed 20ft, Stealth +18, Perc +13, Init +8

didn't think Filbert had a chance of hitting either due to soft cover, so was aiming for the bookshelf(red diamond), trying to create an explosion of paper covering them both. Ruining their ambush :) now if he can he would have aimed for the one on the right, so as not to interfere with Momijii.

They do have soft cover since there's somebody on the way (tbh I've been forgetting that rule), however that's only +4 AC and you still hit easily with a 23. You can see both clearly enough to take the shot.

Various bits of junk whip forwards with great force, some of them smash into the the bookshelf causing mayhem however one large hob-nail boot smacks a cultist in the temple leaving a nasty cut and bruise!

Red: Crowbar (Momijii): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 <--- HIT
Green: Crowbar (Lizzie): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 <--- MISS
Blue: Crowbar (Lizzie): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 <--- HIT, NO CRIT
Crit?: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

The cultist Momijii attacked recovers his composure and runs screaming incoherently at Momijii and she feels the sudden burn of his crowbar across her shoulder!

A pair of cultists descend on Lizzie, she easily parries the first one's sloppy lunge, but this leaves her open to the second one who lands a painful blow to her side!

"Hey two on one isn't fair!" Filbert complains as the two would be ambushers attack Lizzie. Aiming once more at green he tries to even her odds.

TB+PBS: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 5 - 4 = 11 sigh
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

As the shot goes wide Filbert studies the bookshelf beside him for a b
place to cross through to the aisle

perception: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 - 2 = 21

if there's a place Filbert will pass through to the next aisle

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 32/32 AC 19, T 16, FF 14, F+4, Ref +9, Will +4 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +10, Stealth +16, Init +5, speed 20 feet.

Lizzie swings her mace at green in return.

"Have it your way."

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Status Luxina:

Elf Alchemist (Blazing Torchbearer)/5

Luxina steps up besides Lizzie and Momiji, drawing her club and whacking at green.

Journal Formulae/Consumables Hp 45 AC 17, T 13, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +6. Speed 30ft, Perc +11, Init +3

Agrippa moves forward, drawing his rapier and attempting to distract the cultists in yellow robes from hitting Lizzie

Aid Another AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Lizzie's AC should be 19 now

Does Agrippa know that these are Cultists of Hastur?

Not without a kn: religion roll. It's also not quite that simple (a sense motive roll may reveal more)

Journal Formulae/Consumables Hp 45 AC 17, T 13, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +6. Speed 30ft, Perc +11, Init +3

Sense Motive!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 +1 to sense if they are insane (they prolly are)
Kn:Religion: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 7 + (2) = 12

Agrippa:
Something about the eyes feels weird, these are brainwashed fanatics. It's unclear what their cause is.
