...where am I?

Luxina:
The cells contain nothing of immediate use, beyond a rudimentary and uncomfortable looking bed with a stained straw mattress. The smaller table next to the one upon which the man is bound displays an array of sharp instruments, none designed for use on living flesh: a gardening trowel, forks, several long pieces of broken glass or metal, and the other blade of the tormentor’s shears. Additionally, heavily loaded sacks lie near the door.

Any chance of the bed having springs I could wrench free? Or destroy the frame for something useful?

The doctor starts measuring the wound she inflicted on the man's leg and causing him to writhe in pain, and screech "Oh gods help me!" The doctor starts pacing examining various implements, and jotting down notes. She comes close to the cells as she does so.

Having just had the most horrifying nightmare Mimijii awoke with a start. It was then that she realized there was someone looking at her. Not knowing who this other person was she started to say something and realized she didn't know who she was either. She heard the man on the table scream and looked over to see the person in a coat circling him. She growled and sat up as her cellmate began trying to break a bed into pieces. She looked at the person circling the man and felt compassion for him, whoever he was, no one deserved such treatment.

She felt a strong desire to help him, as if she needed to atone foWWWW! Touching upon the thought of atonement brought searing pain to her mind and she steered away from it. She looked at the door to the cell she was in and decided that she should try to break it open. She focused her mind and body and brought her will to bear then struck the door in an effort to force it open.

From the back of her mind, she had an impulse to do something daring.
She grabs the closest object to hold in front of her as an improvised covering instrument, and whatever she could use as an improvised weapon.

"Lady, could you step aside please? :3", she said with a smile.

Filbert still shaking his head at the botched shears transfer, is surprised as someone passes by opening the cell he is in. Looking up in surprise "T-thank Y-you."

She was one of those running from the fog, in m-my dream? How could that be I've never met her

Shaking his head to keep his self on task he looks around to find the Dr about to kill the man on the table. "NO!"

Bits of straw from the jail cell begin swirling around the gnome. Gathering all of his 'haunts' to him, he concentrates and sends them directly at the Doctor.

Palace of Birdsong| War for the crown maps

Actually that 16 should have hit.

Luxina's torch sears the monsters face, and it howls with pain and indignation - how dare inferior flesh inflict pain like this?

Filbert's haunts pick up a several small items and fling them with bone crunching force! The fiend reels back and lands more or less onto Lizzie's improvised weapon which cuts deeply! The monster screams and gets burned again by Luxina and slumps down on the floor. It twitches for a while but it's dead.

Combat over!

"Desna be praised, you killed her!" calls the man still partially strapped to the table, "Er a hand please? I can't get these restraints off."
