"Look it's quivering and bending towards us. What kind of modk is that!?"

Flynn readies a flask of oil.

Lilly looks sharply at Flynn as he tugs her back, but complies. As he points out the mold's movement, she grimaces, adding her voice to the others. "Fire would be great, yes."

"Yes, yes; keep your pants on." Replied Doctor Rhaym testily.
Precisely popping open a small bottle and dropping a catalyst tab in, he gives it a sharp shake and tosses it onto the nearest pile starting to wobble and move.
It explodes in a satisfying 'whump' and burst of flame, and there is nothing left but a blackened char in that area.


Unfortunately, this seemed to start several other slimes into motion, and they slide towards you!

Oddly enough, weapon damage seems effective, but it seems to be somewhat resistant to fire damage.

Doctor Rhaym looked around.
"Is anyone still injured?" He asked, holding a healing potion.

"If not, let's proceed."
He folded up his valise and continued slogging through the oddly warm water.


Knee deep in the water, you warily walk through the darkened caves under the hill, your lights creating flickering shadows that seem to move on their own.

Another of those damned headaches strikes you, debilitating you for more than a minute before it fades again.
Recovering, you continue on.

After squeezing through a narrow space, you come to a more open area.
A dark cavern opens up here, its twenty-foot-high ceiling thick with stalactites.
A rocky shore overlooks a placid pool and stream, fed by a trickle of water leaking from a narrow fissure to the north. A small garden of toadstools and dark mold grows along the banks.
You see what looks like a dead body lying half in and out of the pool.

Seeing yet another body lying somewhat in the water, Lilly's heart sinks. She had had hopes of bringing back at least some survivors, but that prospect was looking more and more grim by the moment. She makes directly for the body, keeping her eyes open for whatever might have caused the body in the first place.

Seeing yet another body lying somewhat in the water, Lilly's heart sinks. She had had hopes of bringing back at least some survivors, but that prospect was looking more and more grim by the moment. She makes directly for the body, keeping her eyes open for whatever might have caused the body in the first place.

As you approach the body, you all hear a deep throated and threatening rumbling.
Looking northwest, you see a short, stocky humanoid with webbed feet, claws, an enormous mouth and throat. The frog like creature has glowing white eyes. You get a glimpse of something branded in the creatures side just before the eyes flash blindingly white.
Flynn, Lily, Celeste and Rhaym must make a DC 13 Fort save or be blind for 1 hour.

This creature is a Bleindheim, a frog like humanoid that can throw a blinding flash at will.
