Aside from complaining about those nat-1s - the forum did something weird and put the post with the will save after the one with Maria's actions. Thing is; I posted the will save first. Somehow the site's gotten them around the wrong way.
Yeah, I've noticed that posts done within the same minute sometimes get switch around. Strange, normally if they were storing down to the minute then they'd be storing down to the second.
It might also have to do with a time difference in regards to data replication. I still see delays in replication so that a post doesn't show up after posting for 10-20 seconds.
The geek in me wants to try to diagnose the issue, but the rational part says, 'Meh, not my problem.'
Zhi - I couldn't do another 5-foot step; I'd already had to do one just to get into melee at all.

Question, Brainiac: From where we're currently at, would it be considered planer travel to return to the inn we've been staying at for the purposes of teleport?

It is on the same plane technically, but Norgorber himself prevents teleportation directly in our out of his realm. You could teleporr to another spot within his realm, though.
Another question along similar lines.
The spell shadow step targets the caster. The spells doesn't make mention of it specifically, but the target travels with all their gear; clothes, weapons in hand, etc. Would that also include someone carried?
I don't think so. Spells like dimension door and teleport indicate you can take other creatures. Shadow step does not.

I'm assuming Maria's cold resistance is applied after the save halves the damage? So it's -5 on the 26 cold damage she'd be taking?
Even if I'm right - that one attack just completely wiped out her False Life extract.
