Gylwinth, when an ability doesn't specify what sort of action it is to activate, it's usually a standard action. It's a free action to maintain it each round after the first though.

I'm sorry I haven't updated Fireday yet. My situation is that I've had to leave for work 3 hours before my shift actually starts, because my brother borrowed our second car and my parents had to get to work too, and I've had to go to bed early when I get back so I have energy to do it again the next day, reducing my posting to my phone, which is GARBAGE for editing things like Fireday's profile. Since it's my "Friday" today, leveling up Fireday will be my first priority when I get home this evening, and then we can get going again. Thank you all for putting up with my stupid work scheduling.

Between the Renaissance Festival and a second trip to the State Fair, I haven't had a chance to turn on my computer to get my posts up! I got back late from Georgia just to run into Hurricane preparation frenzy. Posting may become sporadic next week depending on if we lose power here or not when/if Irma hits Florida.
I'm in the same boat as Coen. Hopefully we make it through the storm okay. :(
Also, I totally missed the fact that someone was bleeding on the ground in my initial read, not intentionally making Coen ignore someone's mortal wounds here. Please assume that my wandering off to read stuff after being totally useless in the earlier fight happens AFTER people are saved.

I'm expecting it'll be a week or so of no power 90 something degree heat. I will post something near to when I'm back up. DM Brainiac is very close to where I live, so we'll probably be on the same timetable.
Just please please PLEASE be safe! Our Marriott reservations line is swamped with calls from people still evacuating and we've already had one or two guests cancel because they're trapped at the airport, so I've at least some measure of how bad it's gonna be!
