The air darkens and swirls. The earth trembles. And a hulking form of muscle, scale and horn appears.

The celestial triceratops snorts. It does not like the smells of deep earth and evil. It does not like the whirring of the blade barrier. It is starting to feel angry. Its primeval mind needs an outlet for its feelings.
And hey, here are some Drow.

Lowering its mighty head, the triceratops snorts; it bellows; it charges!

Triceratops appears at S 75 and charges the purple drow. Attack 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27 for 4d10 + 16 ⇒ (9, 10, 8, 3) + 16 = 46 damage.

Anklebiter takes flight, zipping across the battlefield and coming to a halt behind Lefrik. The mighty Barbarian can feel the Goblin's touch on his shoulder, see ground stone and diamond dust spiral past his eyes -- and feel the protective spell take hold.

Anklebiter flies to V 65 and casts Stoneskin on Lefrik.

@Calla - the straight one to Allevrah is Kel's moonlight bridge. The arc is Allevrah's blade barrier

Anklebiter's summoned triceratops slammed into the packed drow and skewered one, nearly killing him in one blow.

Bruendor feels a familiar chilling sensation upon him, and while he is able to fight it off at first, eventually one of the spells takes hold and his limbs freeze.

Welp, I think we all knew this is how I was going to go out.

@Anklebiter - yep, C&P error. It was Bruendor's time to shine...or die.

I don't normally allow CDG if there is an enemy threatening, so only 2. Hope you roll high on those Fort saves!

The drow around Bruendor tensed as the dwarf froze up. As much as they'd like to end this threat in their midst, Lefrik and the dinosaur were more immediate threats. The dinosaur was stabbed twice - mere pinpricks for the mighty creature. Lefrik managed to knock away the attack that came his way. But that still left two drow to plunge their rapiers deep into Bruendor's body, twisting and slicing away at his innards with him unable to block or even dodge away.

GM screen:

Bruendor somehow managed to stay alive, despite the massive damage. Calla, trying to protect the dwarf, fired arrows into the two opportunists, and then turned her last one to the wounded drow engaged with the dinosaur. All three of the drow died to her arrows. Lefrik struck down his opponent easily. Keledra tried to dispel the paralytic effect on Bruendor, but could not get through the drow priestesses divine strength. Anklebiter decides that it is time and more than time to take the fight to the really dangerous enemy -- and hopefully disrupt whatever Allevrah is doing with the master glyph. The Goblin digs a little gobbet of rubbery material out of his spell component pouch and utters a chant of eight words.

Beyond the Blade Barrier, the earth trembles -- and breaks, as giant tentacles rise gibbering from unknown depths to clutch at the priestesses!

Anklebiter sets off Black tentacles at the junction point N-O 70-71. I think that should get all of them. CMB to grapple all: 1d20 + 13 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 13 + 4 + 1 = 21. Anyone who gets grappled takes 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 damage. No saving throws. Spell resistance does not apply.

Meanwhile, the triceratops focuses its piggy gaze on the last remaining drow soldier -- and goes for the gore.

Anklebiter's triceratops lunged forward, but its target side-slipped the strike. Up on the dais, three of the priestesses were grabbed by the black tentacles, but Allevrah slid easily through the tentacles. One of the priestesses got free of the spell area, but hte other two remained stuck. "Your friends couldn't kill me when they had a chance," he growls as he advances, his voice hoarse from the exertion of breaking the spell upon him. "Do some math - what chance do you have against us?"

That was a full round action, so I should get a 5' step to S69.

Calla leaped onto the moonlight bridge, using it as a shield against ground-based attacks, and cast a spell on herself to imbue her strikes with even more power and accuracy. Kelendra ripped off a spell, catching all the priestesses in a burst of arcing lightning. One managed to get away from the worst, but the others took the full brunt of the spell. Lefrik leaped forward, ready to cleave the remaining drow soldier's head from his shoulders. The strike, which would have ended the last of the resistance on this side of the blade barrier, missed as Lerfik's treasured sword twisted in his bloody hand.

Allavrah barked out a spell in the drow tongue, and all of you felt the desire to move forwards through the blade barrier!

Round 7, end:

@everyone - Allevrah cast Greater Command (approach). Make a DC 23 will save or be forced to walk through the blade barrier on your next turn.

Anklebiter manages to shake off the command. The triceratops ... not so much. Snorting angrily, then bellowing, the triceratops plows through the blade barrier ... and into the field of black tentacles!

But nothing, NOTHING seems capable of halting the scaly behemoth as it barrels forward, red eyes fixed on Allevrah.

Dinosaur to M 70. Placing Allevrah squarely in AoO range if she tries to cast another spell.

Did I run over the Dice Roller's Virtual dog?

Lefrik's mind is lost in rage, and so when someone ASKS to be his next target? Well, why even resist. He'll go through a dozen cuts to kill that #$##$#!

But not until it's his turn

Yeah. Especially as I'm fairly sure I didn't stick the DC to dispel that Blade barrier; barring surprises, it should be 24 or better.

SLIGHT edit to my post: as I'm fairly sure I would have recognized the Silence spell going up, Anklebiter will move outside of its area. If my previously mentioned target location is that, he'll go there. If not, he moves elsewhere, and he has a 40 ft. move rate with Overland flight.

At Allevrah's command, Lefrik walks through the blade barrier, being chopped and sliced a dozen times by the whirling magic. The dino right beside him was another matter, and the priestesses in the black tentacles eyes grew wider as they saw the immense creature wallow through the whirling blades and head straight for them. Two of the priestesses struggled with the tentacles while the other two flung spells. Anklebiter tried to dispel the blade barrier, but Allevrah's magic was too strong.

Lefrik felt his mind being grabbed yet again as the priestesses favorite hold person spell took hold.

Round 8, start:
