Anklebiter takes 1d6 ⇒ 1 STR damage

While all four of you were wrapped in sticky filaments, only Anklebiter succumbed to their numbing property.

Everyone but Lefrik was yanked towards a roper, the sticky strands holding fast to skin and armor, forcing you to move with them if you didn't want to fall on the floor. The ropers, both clinging from the ceiling, seemed to want a meal this day. Lefrik stood still, his rock-hard muscles fighting against the pull.

None of the spells managed to get through the ropers' naturally resistant skin, but Lefrik and Bruendor both managed to slash their way free of the sticky strands holding them. The only one to rally do damage was Calla, as she brought her bow up and sent two arrows directly into the roper that had her snared.

More sticky strands flew out from the ropers, engulfing everyone once more. Anklebiter and Calla are both jerked forwards again towards the ropers that already had them held.

Bruendor's eyes widen as Anklebiter takes a blast of electricity straight to the chest, but relaxes slightly as he watches the energy absorbed by some mystic barrier. Only a few tiny streaks of lightning make it through. "We need to take care of the glyph, how do we defeat it, AB?"

Kelendra felt a lessening of the stored energies of the glyph. She got the sense that if she could keep it up, the glyph might deactivate entirely.

I need 3 consecutive successes. A failure resets the count. A critical failure sets the glyph off again.

The glyph flared in anger at Anklebiter's attempt to sothe it, zapping the goblin with another bolt of electricity.

Calla stands back and can't help but smirking. Diplomacy really isn't worth it. She resists telling her companions that she's told them so.

Kelendra was off ehr game, likely because of the goblin's supposed aid, and the glyph resisted her at first. Eventually, though, she managed to calm it down, diverting its wrath and shutting it down completely. The final ward glyph was down, and the assault on the drow's main complex could begin!

"Well done," Calla says. "Now, shall we go finish this b$~!*?"

I think we don't need to rest -- we've expended pretty minimal resources dealing with this glyph -- but if others disagree, call out. Also, DM, we know where the main complex is, right?

Yes, the Throne of Abraxas is on your map, an island in the Clatherium Sea.

Calla sighs.

"She's lived this long. She'll keep one more day," she grumbles.

OK, let's finish looking around and then rest. Usual guard activities. We'll head out in the "morning."
