Songs as clues

The other DM in our group once used the song "Once upon a December" from Anastasia as a clue as to where to go or what to do next. It really worked well.

I was wondering if anyone else had done something similar, what song(s) were used and how and what the results were.

One of my DMs managed to play Distrust from the .hack games whenever the BBEG was around (polymorphed) without us realizing for a long time. Having a laptop as a DM tool or a setup like the ultimate gaming table would really help in this regard.
