Sold! That combines both and we can squeeze back into more of a 2x when we get inside. I'll enlarge just before we get to the cross point mentioned. Kiri will be flying a bit overhead in order to try and spot anything coming over the top of the trench at us (presume its at least head height).

turns out Baraks alter-ego Judderman isn't much of a shooter. at the clay pigeon range he couldn't hit a thing!

We didn't get Judderman that drunk although we did have a solid 12 hours+ of drinking. Eventually our sleepy Mexican became a hilarious casualty of tiredness and alcohol so he was our only "man down".
Deevor, Zanzu is going to be pretty much out of commission for the rest of this particular fight i'm afraid, by the time his nausea wears off I think the last mudmen will be down.

After a discussion over Steam, Aron and I have agreed Lord Vincent (and Aron) will bow out of the game. There are no hard feelings, I think it was clear Aron wasn't particularly into the adventure.
I'll bot Lord Vincent for now (and i'll make an update either later tonight or tomorrow by midday, sorry for the wait). All future XP will be divided by 6.
Other than trying to gank him horribly (this is assumed anyway), any ideas for Lord V's exit?
A Lord always has an estate to return to, some counter claim to its ownership, some other disaster, keeps him available should he be needed. A messenger can come get him, when we return to camp....
that's my 2 pennies worth.

As for what to do with Vincent, I agree he should be called away on matters or have Vincent grow bored/tired with the Desolation and quit to return home. I would rather not have him just arbitrarily killed to get him out of the way. It is a death that carries no gravitas... at least to me. :P

His motivations were a little murky so perhaps there is a plot point there whether or not you want to keep him as a NPC. Maybe he joins the bards gate guy.

Sorry for the snail pace. My dissertation is due on the 17th of September and my word count is still close to 0... Out of 15,000. Within the next week i'll be announcing a 2-3 week hiatus from the games I DM, in order to clear the time I need to finish it. Its the final step of my MSc so pacing should be pretty good after that for some time :).
I look forward to resuming the game...

Thats a hell of a lot of rolls but looks like ghouls 4 and 5 didn't have their menaced penalty worked in? Wouldn't bother mentioning but seems relevant given Arachiel's hasted FF AC of 24 when he got hit on 25s.
Edit: Scratch that haste wouldn't provide a dodge bonus til Arachiel's impulse. Man you are seriously enough to make me a believer in bad luck following a person :)

Really keen to get good pacing here so i'll be making daily posts, if not twice daily where possible.
Also forgot to account for Durin's AC being 1 lower due to Enlarge, but he lucks out by 1 point on both the 17's anyway.
The funny part of it is my rolls are the total opposite in an actual "at the table, rolling dice" game. *shrugs* Oh well, nothing to be done about I suppose.
