@Corsario-
Yeah, women tend to drop like flies in this backstory. She died because she was insane and couldn't take care of herself any longer.
Heh; I made up Nathaniel awhile ago and I've played him in a few games as a Synthesist Summoner. I wanted to try out a Master Summoner so I thought hey, how about his dad. But yep, entirely yours to play with.
Plenty of room to work in a team; Mordecai has spent much of his time 'adventuring' and only occasionally dropped out to do his own thing, plenty of room for him to have joined a well-known team. He could either be persuaded by events as well as by his team to answer the charter, or he could be persuaded first and convince the rest of the team to sign on as well.

@Marius- Mordecai is LG (previously LN), except he's all about honor rather than law; but with 3 players and presumably a cohort each you're probably full up.

@Everyone- Mordecai is available for teams. Master Summoner going once, going twice...

Shadow Lodge

Apparently I'm understanding this team thing differently then you Arkwright. My understanding it is 5-7 characters plus cohorts.

Hmm, I assumed it was 5-7 characters total. GM?

Liberty's Edge

A team, 5-7 characters each, level 7. Plus 4-7 cohorts, level 5. Plus a huge cast of "extras"... sorry, followers. The team has leveled and worked together for a long time. Know and trust each other.

Another team, same history.

The two teams know each other. Maybe some histories between members of the different teams (and a daughter ;) )

So we got two teams, 10-14 level 7 characters, 10-14 level 5 cohorts, and a good deal of people to support them. All of them go into the Stolen Lands to try and create a new kingdom in the wilderness.

And they have 2 "main" adventurers parties, and 2 "secondary" parties to deal with the problems. And the "secondary" parties start to mix up, and then the main parties too, depending on the tasks at hand.

At the end of the campaign we don't have two adventurers groups, but one kingdom.

So the idea is not for the teams to fight each other, but to integrate, at the correct time.

Each player has two "characters". A main and an alt, and is having two "adventures" at the same time, one with each. And with time the "parties" start to mix and match to suit the "adventure". And you end up playing with everyone else at one time or another.

Sounds good?

Biggg.. Should be fun.

Cohort
Name: Irra Clearsong
Race: Gnome
Class: Bard (Sound Striker)
Backstory: To stave off the bleaching, Gnomes must constantly experience the shocking, the wondrous, the unusual, seeking out discoveries, new lands, new art. Irra seeks out information. Secrets, riddles, gossip- anything known only to a few, she seeks out. After some years travelling with Mordecai plying her trade at castles and taverns, she has decided that she wishes to ply her trade on a grander scale; and what could be grander than at the side of a new kingdom.
Personality: When 'on the job', cheerful, ingratiating, charming. When amongst friends and not targets, highly driven, focused, slightly ruthless.

Liberty's Edge

A gnome at last! We are low on them...

I'm going to have to keep a journal to keep track of everything that could possibly happen. Also decided on a cohort. Will make an alias to keep everything in one place. For the time being I'll include a link to my cohort.

Decided that to tie in with my back story of being visited by the spirit of my brother, that a seer (diviner wizard) communed in an audience with Gerad's brother's Spirit (Jokon). He was encouraged to provide protection and council to the sometimes brash and ill tempered Gerad.

Just the scratching of a few minutes. I'll re post tonight when I have everything written up and in their appropriate places.

Then we can move on to story building for the group ;)

Heh. Gnome-ore gnomes, we're full up!

Also, GM, how are you going to run the 6th level Sound Striker ability? Will Irra be able to make all her sounds target a single target?

Silver Crusade

So

Cohort of Marius:

Hraggar Stoneshaper
LG Cleric of Torag (Forgemaster archetype)
Age 74
Height 4'2"
Weight 244lbs
Hair Red

About - Hraggar is quick with a word of wisdom and a pint of ale. But even faster with his hammer and forge. A specialized Cleric of the God Torag, Hraggar is a master of the Forge and Ancient Dwarven Runes. And the old Dwarf loves what he does. You often hear him singing old dwarven battle songs while swinging his great hammer in battle and singing bawdy dwarven love songs while enjoying his drink and striking the anvil of his forge. He's quick-witted and barbed tongue, enjoying banter and loving to trade quips and insults with Marius.

But beneath his jovial exterior, is a man bound by his honor and great love for his friend. Saved from a terrible fate (to be determined later lol) by the young Hellknight, he swore a life-debt to the man, and serves as the young Knight's conscience and advisor as they travel, as well as his armorer and companion. He's excited about the potential to make "loads of gold" as first true armorer in the Stolen Lands, and sees great potential for himself later in life, because while he swore a life debt to the young human, as he would say "Vhat's a life debt to a Long Shanks anyvay, you fools barely live past yer nuts droppin'"

Crunch:

STATS
STR 14, DEX 10, CON 14, INT 16, WIS 16, CHA 9
I'll add the rest later.

"A Gnome and a Dwarf, so many exotic flavors to sample." The woman says while licking her lips.

"Mother!" Tarina shows up, pulling her mother aside. "Stop trying to scare them away, you know you always come on a little too strong!" She criticizes her own mother. "Please do forgive my mother." Although a Gnome does sound like fun.

Sorry I couldn't resist making aliases now. I need to work on background for both ladies, But I'm sure their personalities are already being slowly discovered. They of course still need to be equipped, but honestly I was waiting to do that until I could figure out if someone in their group can craft :).

Disclamer: Liked Dune's movie sonic attack ability, a lot.

Read about that, seems the arquetype to be one of the most broken things in Pathfinder.
I could rule about it, but the fact you asked first (instead of trying to exploit) was a really nice thing to do, so, why don't you propose something?
Making something useful, nice and flashy, without being overpowered.
My recommendation (not rulings).
- the first ability can damage solid things, like weapons, vials or doors, but not soft things, like spell component pouches. Maybe add a ST if carried. Limit range.
- the second ability: maybe two ways, one damaging many enemies for some damage (cone, burst area?) , another to damage one enemy for a decent amount of damage. Make the damage sonic.
Seems you have DM, so I am sure you can create something you will like, and it's not overpowered

This is DarkNetwerk. Here is the alias for my main (the Winter Witch). Appearance and early (pre-party) Background are inside. I still need to purchase equipment, choose my last feat, and another Hex.

Note: I snagged Craft Wondrous Items.

@GM- Afraid I have neither read nor seen Dune.

I agree that it is quite broken, not least because it requires you to make one ranged attack roll/level and the GM one saving throw/level. That's a lot of dice!

Do you have an issue with the first ability? It's pretty underpowered so I wouldn't mind a small boost, if that is what you are suggesting. Make it more handy for breaking open locks or doors etc.

As for the second... hmm. How about 1d4/level + cha modifier of sonic damage, delivered to enemies in a 10ft burst (or a 10ft square if you prefer), fortitude save for half? Essentially a variation on the Fireball; smaller radius, different save, uncommon damage type, not sure about the damage difference. Hmm but if it only costs one round of performance, way too small. How about it costs 1/2 of your bard level in performance rounds to use?

Very open to ideas, I haven't had to come up with an entire new ability before.

What I did in my face2face game for weird words was limit the number of targets to 1 creature/3 levels. Also one roll for each target as well as Cha bonus to damage only once per target.

we did compensate by beefing up word strike, but I don't recall how.

Need to check it at detail, but it looks interesting.

BTW as this campaign has many down times, I'll take some measures :
-instead of handling magic items a treasure, handle the reagents for the items (money for example)
-let the characters and cohorts craft their own stuff, on demand and specifications
So the magic crafting Feats will be very valuable. And the forges, shops and schools you can create in your new kingdom can become very important.

Perfect! Very brave from you to make her an estranged heir of Irrisen. Couldn't have done it better. Work on those burns... Where and when, How do they look, How do they pain her. Maybe the best applied drawback I have seen. A burned winter witch!

And I loved the father meal story, I couldn't do it better myself.

Hello all, just dotting for interest. This sort of giant, sprawling, interconnected campaign strikes me as a bit of a wet dream. I will be presenting some character ideas just as soon as I'm able to digest the full implications of this crazy endeavour.

Corsario : As I presently understand things it seems as thought the idea is that our cohorts will act as our agents in the kingdom. As a result they will spend the majority of their adventuring careers working with the other cohorts, rather than their PC counterparts. Am I grasping the situation correctly?

Liberty's Edge

Yes, you are correct. You have 2 characters, and they are tied together (the mother/daughter combo is a prime example) but will adventure "apart". So you will be playing 2 adventures almost always.
The "teams" are my way of not having strangers facing the taming of the Stolen Lands, but I hope the teams integrate as the campaign progresses.

Thanks!

The intent of the burned was that most, if not all, the burns have been healed (during the meet with the familiar and Tolc), at least on the surface, but underneath the skin her whole body, muscle tissue, etc. and still trouble her near flame/heat. I might leave a patch unhealed, or some other indicator (maybe an ashy or flame red streak in her hair?) but for the most part it's underneath. Perhaps it's another reason (other than her genetic proximity to the Queen) that her skin is pale/bluish, since Winter (Tolc) healed her up using the materials at hand (snow/ice). I dunno, just spitballing.

Regarding the estrangement w/ Irrisen. I expect that, for the most part, she's out of sight out of mind. It's not like she's a contender for the throne, at least not a part of the jostling for favor that the others do in the hopes of being chosen as Elvanna's replacement by Baba Yaga. Some might send something just for fun, but it's pretty far and they generally want to stay focused on those closer to them. In my head, however, the meeting with her cohort occurred when someone in her family sent some winter minions after her while she was alone (I figure the party is not always together all the time). Her abilities were of little use against them, but the blade of a sword was able to save her.

Just to keep people in the loop since i had a malfunction with my computer. I decided to have a human wizard (diviner) as a cohort. Having beenapproached by the spirit of gerad's dead brother. Thereid a bit of a conflict since the tribal seer was a member of a rival tribe in the past. Such is in the past and the seer has more inclination to follow the advice of the spirit s of the world. He was asked to council and attend to gerad in his jouneys and act as a spiritualedium for gerad and the spirit world.

I will be heading out of town for the labor day weekend and i dont know if ill be able to post until monday after friday. So hopefully ill find the time to post everything that would be needed until then hopefully a melding would happen in the meantime

APPEARANCE:
Szymon Wojcik has casual, scoundrel good looks. He stands a little over six feet tall with a lean, whipcord muscular frame. His straight brown hair is well-barbered to chin length with a complementing goatee. His clothes are always perfectly tailored and currently fashionable. He wears breastplate armor and an Aldori dueling sword.

PERSONALITY:
Szymon Wojcik is an optimist and a survivor. It still amazes him that he survived his childhood, many duels, and most of his adventures. And he continues to look for his lost brother Artur in crowds and dungeons. His initial reaction almost always is to do the right thing, but his brutal pragmatism pushes him to kill potential threats rather than let them live to fight another day. He used to play up the scoundrel image with the ladies, because it worked. But now, he is full-on in love with Tatiana.

BACKGROUND:

Szymon Wojcik grew up in Restov. His father was a soldier and guard, his mother a cook at a poor inn. His only surviving sibling, an older brother, was his constant companion and primary instigator. The Wojcik boys were recognized wannabe street toughs and Aldori swordlords. Their gang emulated the swordlords mythology in their titles and fictional missions.

Eventually, they adopted a master who taught the art of Aldori sword-fighting. They watched his house and protected it from other gangs. They started doing work around the house removing garbage, making minor repairs, and delivering gifts of foodstuffs that were on five-finger discount. The master finally relented and allowed them inside to make minor repairs and errands. The kids thought they were in heaven watching, listening, and repeating everything. Their father attempted to apprentice them several times, but they always returned to the fighting master.

His brother was the first to leave. Artur joined an adventuring party to explore the River Kingdoms. He returned with enough for his parents to buy a new house. After six visits spending treasure and telling tales, he never returned. Szymon has never forgotten. He continues to look for Artur in crowds of new towns and dungeons.

After adventurers ranging Golarion, Szymon continues to return to Restov. He stays at his parents large townhouse for which he paid with adventuring loot and carouses at his father’s high-end tavern that he opened for his early retirement. Szymon played up the image of the scoundrel with the ladies, because it worked. On his last visit, he met Tatiana. But this time, he was in love and all that that entails.

Tatiana is an angel, technically an aasimar. She believes that she is the progeny of the Lady of Luck and devoutly follows her. She was the one who convinced Szymon to take the settlement job, so they could see if their love was strong enough to survive.

To do: equip Szymon, build Tatiana

*** NEWS FLASH ***

I think I will alter the recruitment a little. I expected much more submissions, 5 or 7 teams to choose from, but I see that is not the case. Bummer.

On the other hand, the current submissions look great! So far I wouldn't miss any of them.

So, unless we get a big influx of submissions, please think yourselves as preliminary accepted. We need to organize ourselves in teams, but I won't be "choosing" teams anymore. I will choose players, and we will create the teams with the selected players.

Also: You are going to create a new kingdom, and new schools, institutions, orders, monasteries.

For example, if we get the Sound Striker bard, he will be the first of his kind. And he will, if he wants, able to create a new school, a new group of bards (imagine the Fedaykin) that will become an asset of the new kingdom. I will try to find something similar for each character (or cohort).

Hello, I am hoping I am on time for this one - Have been looking for a home for Reknar for some time now, and I think this may be the perfect place for him.

The whole logic behind Leadership was something already brewing for this character even though I was planning it for his next feat choice - he is definitely a martial type [a consequence of me being a sucker for Fighters, and thinking they are the Ultimate soldiers and kings :D], raised as a soldier, but then growing way beyond that.

Re-reading the background I wrote for him, it makes perfect sense to me that he would wander off and try to carve his own story - fact is, he runs a bit amok of the usual martial types [notice the focus on what some would call crazy like UMD, Diplomacy, Knowledges, etc :D] - but that is how I imagine him - versatile, capable, self sufficient, used to depend only on himself for many years. I believe he could grow immensely in a campaign such as this one (and of course Lucian would most likely be his cohort).

As far as mechanics go, he should occupy the frontline position, as he has been used to for so many years in the military - in spite of his somewhat cynical view of life, he is not afraid to take on responsibilities, and making decisions when they are needed.

The crunch will need some tweaking to adapt to the group and the possible team, but the character logic is there.

Let me know your thoughts GM Corsario

Nice backstory... but not what I am looking for.

Remember, you will be part of a team that has leveled together for quite some time. And the references to the Pathfinder Society seems out of place.
You will need to leave space for your team in the story.
First time I see somebody taking the Extra Traits feat.
And the leadership feat is missing... remember DM recommended.
Tragic story... well, gives the idea of the guy.
And intelligent fighter! Love those.
Please put prices on the equipment, for me to check them.

I agree with your assessment - though this was just a rough draft to show how the characters' personality was carved out, and what his overall attitude and posture would be.

The tie in is of course still missing :D

Will give it an update as soon as I can scrape some time for it.

Thank you for the feedback [Intelligent fighter FTW any day ;)]

Background:
Born the bastard son of a minor nobleman of Restov, Malor was lucky to be brought into the household as his father had no children at the time. This changed around the age of 10 when his father secured a bride (indeed a wonder at all given the scandal of Malor's birth) and budding child. Seen now as a hinderance, Malor was sent off to join one of the knightly orders, in this case the Order of the Sword. Here he spent the majority of his young life before earning his spurs at the age of 22. With his boon companions and fellow knights Titan and Borrus, they served the order and had adventures. But as Malor grew older he also became more jade about the Order. It seemed that the senior knights were more focused on political gain and power than their oaths. Indeed, he began to notice this about his companions as well. His scrutiny strained their friendship and they eventually parted way. Malor parted ways from the Order as well, becoming an adventuring Knight-Errant.

"You would leave the Order, after all its done for you, Malor?" asked
the local ordermaster Lucien. "Off to sell your service to the highest bidder? Or take by force?" It came out almost as a sneer. "I do not part from my knightly code, but those who sully it. I have noticed knights falling from the guiding principles of the Order, taking to vice over virtue and using the law to their benefit alone. And those knights now stand in high ranking within it. Even now there resides one before me. So I take my leave." Malor replied, striding out without waiting for a response. Sputtering in anger, Lucien yelled out as Malor left, "YOU ARE CAST OUT! YOU WILL BE STRICKEN FROM THE LIST OF KNIGHTHOOD! COWARD! CAD!"

After that, Malor was blacklisted from high society. But he felt as long as he kept to a just path it didn't matter. Malor eventually fell into the company of like minded individuals and had escapades and adventures aplenty. He slew the werewolf of Lustern, with a silver spear he stole from its very lair. In the town of Bastern, Malor freed the townspeople from the enchantment of an evil wizard. He fought the dreadknight Gorgas, who gave him his scar, narrowly defeating him and breaking the spirit of his bandit company.

There was the amusing tournament that both Malor and Salereon entered in disguise, only to end up jousting each other for the final round! They managed to unhorse each other and set to melee. Evenly matched, they continued until Salereon managed to knock Malor's helment off, at which point he hesitated in confusion. Malor had none and knocked him over the head, knocking his helmet off as well. Both stared at each other, then laughed them selves silly. In the end they both stepped out and went for a drink afterwards.

One memorable time he and Gerad were ambushed by bandits while on the road. The memorable part was when the bandits saw well armored knight, the massive barbarian, and fled. They gave chase and captured the bandits without a fight.

He's come to blows, literally, with Marius before over what to do in situations. There was a time they had found out a local noble had been heavily taxing his people, over the legal amount. Then reporting a lesser taxation when it became time to pay his due to his own lord. However, he made this all legal with a bylaw by donating the difference to a local church, which his cousin happened to be the priest of. Marius and Malor argued over how to deal with the man, Mairus wanting to find a legal route and Malor all for pitching him before his liege. The noble had found out they were on to him and fled to his town manor, which Marius and Malor fought in front of with the winner determining what to do. The point became moot when, fearing the noise generated by the fight was them breaking in, the noble lept out the window ending his life right in front of them. They both put away their weapons and felt rather silly.

His Lovely Lady Calene:
Malor has had many offers from women in his travels. A gallant knight in shining armor, recently returned from slaying the towns woes could turn many a heart. But he has rarely accepted them. No one has managed to catch his heart until he met Calene. Calene is the youngest daughter of a lord, 27, whose willfulness and skill as an enchantress had kept her from any arranged marriage. Her father, Lord Whailore was rather irate over the matter but never forced it. Malor met Calene when her father had put out notices for adventurers to deal with a young green dragon that had been terrorizing his lands. In their meeting with Lord Whailore Calene happened to be present and the two simply stared at each other. After the dragon had been dealt with and the adventurers subjected to a feast, Calene and Malor found a quiet place and had a long and enjoyable talk in which they expressed interest for each other. Afterwards Malor approached her father about courting her but his bastard birth and lack of standing caused his refusal. Thus began a secret courtship over the next four years, with Calene using her arcane arts to facilitate their meetings in-between adventures. He gave her a gift of pearls, a beautiful golden necklace, and other spoils from his travels. She in turn gifted him with a embroidered cloth as a token of her favor, which he hung upon his lance, which she had enchanted for him. The secret eventually was found out by Lord Whailore and he confronted his daughter in anger, who left in her own fit of anger. Fleeing to Malor's side, she wept over the discovery and what she thought to be the end between them. Instead he took her hand gently and asked her to run away with him. And she said yes.

Motivations:
Malor and Calene are running away together from the reach of her father, Lord Whailore. While he's not a particularly high standing lord, he does have friends and the scandal is sure to force him to act.

Malor wishes to acquire lands in the area the charter covers, to have a home built there for himself and his love. He also wishes to marry her, but they are waiting for now until the land has developed more. That way he can make the marriage from a position of strength as a landed noble and hopefully smooth things over with her father. If it works out everyone will just pretend it was the plan all along and any social stigma/scandal should disappear.

He also wishes to found a new order of knights, ones dedicated to justice, not law. He left his own order because he saw corruption slipping into it and wants to create something that wont follow the same fate.

Personality:
Often smiling, Malor makes the best of what life has given him. He tends to be joyful but sometimes his mood swings to morose. He will kill without hesitation but makes sure its necessary. He pursues justice over law and will circumvent it to follow his heart. He'll joke and make light hearted conversation but becomes deathly serious when the situation demands it.

Folowers:
Malor has with him a small group of squires he has taken on, all low born. They follow his dream of a new order of knights and he trains them in preparation for when it happens. Because of their low birth they would not of been accepted in their kingdom but Malor took them on for their potential.

Updated stuff, added motivations, followers. Big plot points for Malor are gaining land/title in the new kingdom, wedding his lady, and founding a new order of knights.

I just wrote out the first draft of Janus' background. Long story short, he had a fairly peaceful childhood in Restov aside from a few quirks (he has a bad case of butterfingers and seeing dead people), but then his mother was kidnapped for some reason that Janus is still trying to work out. He spent the better part of ten years searching for her and used adventuring as a means to fund his search and hopefully build up his oracle powers. He was and still is a trained healer of Erastil, so he made quite a few friends during his travels. However, after a decade of dead ends, Janus has largely ended his mad search (for the time being) and now just adventures of his own accord.

I settled on his cohort being a gnome standard summoner named Neji. Her eidolon is a rainbow dragon named Pixie. For Janus' familiar Eve, they found the arbiter inevitable in pieces in a Thassilonian ruin and reassembled her. She stays with Janus out of gratitude. More on them later.

I am thinking that these four have a traveling comedy routine or something.

lol. I went with the obedience because Tolc is the only Winter/Cold-related Empyreal. It's not my fault Tolc's a perv. The obedience doesn't even do that much for me (with resistance to cold and endure elements vs. cold), but I thought it was flavorful bit of extra fun to have the Witch Winter Patron be an Empyreal Lord. I even flavoured the Cassisian familiar to look a little more crystaline/icy to fit.

I'll think of a burn location. Maybe one or both arms/hands so she just wears long gloves alot. Actually that might make sense with the obedience requiring dipping the hands in water and raising them up.

Makes sense. It's pretty convoluted that whole thing anyhow. She's glad to be away from it all. A few frowny folks isn't as bad as siblings trying to kill her. Besides, since we're seasoned adventurers/heroes, that stigma may not be as bad as it could be.

I was going to start with them after "choosing" characters, but it's nice one of you started.
I would prefer for you to flesh out your followers. No 1 of level 3, 2 of level 2 and 5 of level 1 "normal" warriors but to flesh them out a little bit.
In your case:
All want to become knights?
Who is the stronger?
Are they friends, or are there "problems" between them?
What do they normally do to train?

And a wedding! That can be a big holiday in the new kingdom!

If so Venetia's Leadership score should be 10 (7th level +3 Great renown +2 Charisma bonus -1 recruited cohort of different alignment -1 moves around a lot). It will only make a difference in the number of followers, but since you want followers fleshed out, that does become important.

10 vs 11 is 1 more level 1 follower, however with a few adjustments, I could probably get Venetia to 13 (or actually it'd jump to that as soon as she had a base of operations and stopped moving around a lot.) 13 would give the single level 2 follower.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to write down background story for Venetia and Tarina soon, and equip them. I have an idea of what sort of equipment each of them should be using, so equipping them shouldn't be difficult.

Here's Szymon's new love.

Szymon to do: some mundane, consumable magic, potential followers (Aldori sword students) Need the ruling of -1 moves around a lot penalty

Tatiana to do: appearance, personality, background, some mundane, consumable magic

I'm going to pause after developing Tatiana's appearance, personality and background. The balance to do is detail work that I can do after being selected.

cheers

Now that Tatiana's appearance, personality and background are drafted, I'm going to pause. The balance to do is detail work that I can do after being selected.

Szymon to do: some mundane, consumable magic, potential followers (Aldori sword students) Need the ruling of -1 moves around a lot penalty

Tatiana to do: some mundane, consumable magic, she has Craft Wands

cheers

APPEARANCE:
Tatiana Fortuna is so staggeringly beautiful that both men and women find themselves initially speechless in her presence. She is relatively tall at six feet, and her statuesque build is a perfect harmony of strength, grace, and femininity. Over fine full plate armor, she always dresses in elegant outfits that accentuate her natural curves and platinum holy symbol of Desna. Her weapon’s belt hangs a Morningstar, scabbards a dagger, and straps a chirurgeon’s kit,. When adventuring, she shoulders a light steel shield, masterwork backpack, light crossbow, and two quivers of bolts.

PERSONALITY:
Tatiana Fortuna is an eternal optimist and devout believer of Lady Desna. Her presence improves the mood of where ever she is like a warm summer breeze scented with flowers. She feels confident to tackle most anything, because she believes that Lady Desna works through her. She has fallen completely and deeply in love with Szymon Wojtek and cannot rationally explain it, so the feelings must be the will of Her.

BACKGROUND:

Tatiana Fortuna was born to an Aasimar 100 years ago somewhere in the River Kingdoms. Her mother lived as midwife and healer for the communities around her. Tatiana grew up the image of her mother knowing that Lady Desna had given her to her mother to deliver and raise. Her mother died of a wasting disease when she was 20 years old calling her home to live with Lady Desna.

Tatiana shouldered all of her belongings and left the hut in which she was born never to return. She traveled around Golarion bringing the word of Desna to those unfortunate. Recently, she met a man in Restov unlike anyone she had met before. She felt crazy feelings of love deep in her soul. He was not devout and had done wicked things, but he was beautiful. He would be enlightened.

Nice... A kidnapped mother... We will need to give him some clues that point to the Stolen Lands later.

About Neji, try to make him less "standard" and more Gnome Summoner.
About the Arbiter Inevitable, I don't like it. At all. Nor axiomatics. Those are the bad news.
The good news: be creative! Sevenstar found out a very old Thassilonian construct, and was able to put it back together. It's one of its kind. BTW: It doesn't remember anything from before it was reactivated.
How is it? Size, shape, material, abilities (7 pointed flying star?) How did he put it back together?

I'll think of a burn location. Maybe one or both arms/hands so she just wears long gloves alot. Actually that might make sense with the obedience requiring dipping the hands in water and raising them up.

Makes sense. It's pretty convoluted that whole thing anyhow. She's glad to be away from it all. A few frowny folks isn't as bad as siblings trying to kill her. Besides, since we're seasoned adventurers/heroes, that stigma may not be as bad as it could be.

Damn! What a great idea! She saved someone or won an adventure (or something as significative as that by grabbing something from fire, burning her hands in the process! Now she wears those long gloves at all times (I sense a special magic item coming) except when she does her "thing" at night. It causes her pain to do it, not cold.

Well, you need to start thinking politics, and stuff as to be a "spawn" of Baba Yaga and an "traitor spy" from Irrisen can be very useful for your political rivals.

If fact you all have a +3 leadership bonus for the calculations. Son in Venetia's case is 7 (level) +3 (great renown and fairness and generosity - no details about what "generosity" means in her case ;) ) and +2 Charisma, for a total of 12. As far as she is concerned, her daughter has her same Alignment (and refuses to see it otherwise - it's a "phase", in any case).

What do you mean by flesh them out a bit? Write a short bit for each one, do the stats for each level? I should have 8 level one guys by the leadership table

And how will we be using them ingame? Managing 8+ characters would be too much.

Did I mention my favorite character is a female cleric of Desna?

So we have THE prophet! I love it! You saved me from doing another npc.
We will need to talk about her, and her story feat. It will not be to convert x people, but to fulfill a prophecy, and Desna will keep a close watch on her!
(Read as: Tatiana will be a plot delivery bridge for me :) )
I was forgetting something: Lose the aasimar. She decends from them, but mechanically she is human. Remember: core races only.

Alright, I finally think I'm getting a handle on character ideas.

I'm thinking an Inquisitor of Shelyn, possibly who's life has a certain duality to it. A tranquil artist at heart who often dons the guise of bandit, anarchist, ect. in order to track blights to the land back to their source.

As a cohort, or just maybe the other way around, a bardic companion and devout of Desna with a benevolent streak and a history of slavery.

I'm still settling of many of the details (such as making them both halflings) and tossing a few other character ideas around but I wanted to run the basics by you asap. You seem to have a grand and specific vision for this campaign and I'm curious if you have any input I might want to work in?

He would eat his hat (or find one and then eat it) if he knew that she was that close the entire time.

Standard summoner as in no archetype. Sorry for not being clearer. I have played both master and synthesist summoners, and I find them both rather ridiculous. As for Neji, she is going to be a linguist and a historian.

So the construct will be my familiar then?

I mean: As much as you want.

If you have "8 level 1 warriors", in game you will manage 8 level 1 warriors. And I will consider them as such.
If you make details for 1 and leave the others as "generics" that is fine too.
If you detail all, perfect, I'll see how to use them.
But those are not characters. NPC classes only, normal NPC rules. You won't adventure with them, but You can use them. Your own guard squad, your own think tank. Your own and loyal spies, diplomats, acolits, servants, concubines, messengers, heralds, stewards, traders, explorers, porters, squires, trainers, advisers, cooks, buffoons, assassin's (nah, forget that last one, we are all good here ;) ) .

"Concubines huh? So I get to have a harem?"
