Mirtgog - At the start of an encounter, each PC can choose to gain the Precise Strike feat (Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player’s Guide 167) for the duration of the encounter. Each PC can use this benefit once before the end of the adventure.

Burbus - Before attempting a Bluff, Escape Artist, Perform, or Sleight of Hand check during this adventure, a PC can decide to roll twice and take the higher result. Each PC can use this benefit once before the end of the adventure.

Gekgaro - Each PC gains the Nimble Moves feat until the end of the adventure.

Kivuli stabs one of the orcs (light blue) as he runs passed. Then steps forward and pierces another orc right through the heart, the orc dies instantly.

Then Kuriq finishes off the orc Kivuli previously stabbed; then misses with his second shot.

The remaining bigger orc bellows once more, Nabavite zaloge budale! He then quaffs a potion.

Seeing the wounded first and second red clad orcs running away with supplies from the caravan, and knowing he can't reach them in time, Crios lands to block their path.

As he touches down on the path he activate's the magic of his staff to launch 2 magical missiles at the dark blue orc running from Kivuli.

Reavis moves to the northeast and tosses an explosive bomb at a group of orcs.

Targeting red bordered 1. Explosive bomb hits red 1 and yellow border.

If red 1 survives, he needs to make a DC 18 Reflex save or he catches on fire, taking 1d6 fire damage every turn unless he takes a full round action to make a DC 18 Reflex save.

Anduris strikes an orc as it runs by, damaging it badly, as it makes for the cart it's finished off by Ranalus.

Reavis's bomb blows two of the orcs to smithereens, the fiery explosion also burns a third one, wearing dingy yellow.

Crios fires two magic missiles into the retreating orc. It howls in frustration.

Anduris then dispatches the orc that threatened him with his falchion.

Numbers dwindling, the badly burned orc begins to run away rather than face the dwarf's angry blade. orange withdraw

The other continue to rush forward, but take a wide path around the long-armed, yet mobility challenged wayang, but stop short of Crios. The last group moves up more cautiously seeing so many others lying bloody and burned.

Ranalus's sound burst rattles the last cluster of orc raiders, while Crios fells their leader. After he dies the remaining orcs quickly fall to your attacks or run away if allowed in full retreat.

Ranalus thinks "rushing forward to attack the charging orcs" is a bad idea. But many of you are built for melee so that may be the better option. Still, his preference is to engage the archers.

You quickly loot the battlefield before moving on to the archers. Finding a few things of use: 2 +1 composite shortbows, 3 +1 flaming arrows, a potion of cure moderate wounds, a tanglefoot bags, 2 +1 studded leather, 2 oil of magic weapon, 2 +1 leather armor.

High on the mountainside, a tall peak creates a natural vantage
point for archers. The orcs have established a strong position 30 feet above the path. A winding trail leading to the peak looks difficult to traverse and the surrounding favor those on the high ground.

Trail counts as difficult terrain when ascending, creatures further up the trail gain a high ground advantage in melee. However the climb looks doable with many natural handholds.

Rounds per buffs will need to be refreshed, minutes per buffs are still up as long as they originally lasted at least 3 minutes. Otherwise need to be refreshed.

As you arrive one of the orc taunts you, Wait until Gutrattle gets ahold of you!

Kuriq looks to the orcs high vantage as a challenge to his skill. "You shall face the wrath of Sarenrae's Judgement, surrender now or face peril!" He yells as a fire illuminates within his eyes. Kuriq has decided judgement even before giving the orcs a chance to reply and immediately fires his arrows at the Orc with the yellow headband.

Crios vanishes from sight and flies up next to Kivuli, whispering, "It's me my friend. Care for a lift? I worry that you may be a bit exposed out here. Either way, allow me to drop behind the one in red."

@Kivuli and all - The actual path is difficult terrain, the cliff wall requires a climb check. So a double move at 30' movement would be 3 squares (climb at 1/4 speed). So Kivuli would be a little past 1/2 way up.
@Crios - So would it be okay to have Crios grab Kivuli off the rock face then?

Reavis is first to act and fires an arrow piercing one of the orcs. As Kivuli begins climbing up, the invisible, flying Crios comes and offers a lift. Kuriq also takes aim, missing the Orc with the yellow headband on his first shot, but hitting with his second.

The orcs take aim on you, they seem particularly interested in Anduris. Prvo ubij patuljaka! One of them shouts.

If you speak orc:

Kill the dwarf first!

Two of them fire on Anduris, while another fires on Kuriq, and the forth fires on Reavis. The first arrow hits Anduris and seems to burn and sting like nothing he has ever felt. A second, then a third arrow hit and Anduris drops. 2 arrows hit Kuriq as well, and then 2 arrows miss Reavis.

Went ahead and made Anduris's stabilize check for him - success!

Ranalus drops some much needed cover. Reavis's bomb explodes in a blast of cold on the orc with the yellow headband. Kivuli turns invisible as Crios carries him and himself into position. Kuriq steps into the open and fires at the target orc, the first shot misses, but the second finds the mark. The orc begins to falter, clearly staggered but continues on powered by its ferocity.

The yellow headband orc steps behind the rocks and ducks down.

If you take any AOOs, red fires one arrow and then 5' steps back in surprise; if you choose not too he fire 2 arrows instead.

I suppose I can't see the enemy.

Kuriq moves himself into the mist to find some temporary cover. As he does, he knocks a wand from out of his wrist sheaths. And starts to heal himself after taking heavy fire from the orcs.

"We need to get higher!" He mumbles to himself with an angry overtone.

Anduris staggers up from the ground vaguely brushing the dirt and grime from the road off his blood smeared coat. He thinks at first that he is in a fog and not thinking straight but after a few moments of staggering around and gathering his possessions he realizes he is in a fog...magic fog. His dwarven pride is pierced deeply and not only by the arrows that almost took his life.
"Err thank ye fer help'en me...err...to stop dying. Seems I'm gett'en real good at that lately. Now point me in the direction of those foul bred, knock kneed, rotten mouthed orc scum so I can get some o'me pride back."
He uses the CLW wand in his spring loaded wrist sheath and heals himself

Assuming Kivuli and Crios probably have things well in hand as well as not wanting to waste all his bombs, Reavis switches back to his bow, but charges it with a flask of alchemist fire.

Target is Green, unless its down, then Blue.

@Anduris -- had a thought instead of using CMW off your spell list the round before, we'll just say you drank the Potion CMW you found in the last encounter.

Anduris continues to heal himself. Reavis's fiery arrow catches the target orc. Who then feels Kivuli blade, and Crios finishes it off with a freezing, shocking, bludgeoning blow.
Your combined damage was just enough to kill outright.

Greatly outnumber and no longer bolstered by the sound of the war drums, and with little hope to escape from this location, the orc throws down his weapon in surrender.
