Sorry was dropping off Ethir at college the last couple days.

Interesting discussion: So Teradach mentions doing a heal check to determine the status of "dead" enemies. I did a little research and tired to find where the rules say to do that. Because in the past I've played with plenty of GMs that would ask for Heal checks in the same situation. Thing is I can't find that anywhere in the rules. Read Heal, it doesn't talk about assessing a condition at all; same with the Death and Dying section. So my opinion is when you walk up to a downed foe, it doesn't take a heal check to know "Yep this one is still breathing". Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Also where are you Pathfinders?

Its always been a heal check when i've played. It made sense so i never thought to look into it. thats odd though

Technically under RAW only deathwatch and status(for allies) do that. But letting Heal do it is reasonable.

Yeah I thought it was odd it's not really covered. Both deathwatch and status tell you that and more, like at range, or more specific. But just breathing or not. Not really covered.

@Farg - I like what you did there 'Diceplomacy'. For the record, I tend to favor the quality of the roleplaying over the diplomacy rolls. So the scenario here specifically calls for diplomacy checks so I'll have you roll them. But if there is good dialog going on good roles only affirm what's already taking place. While bad rolls are not nearly as costly. And the reverse is true. If there is not a lot of effort by the players to roleplay, I'll let a good role make up for it; but a bad role affirms the consequences.

I like a good story. I think that's what makes these things memorable, not the dice results.

Farg, Onix, Ozak just FYI I'm running 6-02: The Sliver Mount Collection as part of PBP Gameday IV, which starts on the 19th. So if you have never played it and want to join let me know. (Ethir and Teradach I know you already have played it. :-))

That said I would be surprised if we are not done with this scenario by then.

Thanks so much for a fun adventure, I enjoyed running it for you. Sorry it took longer than expected. It's a little sandboxy in how it let's you choose the timing to turn on the gnolls, so it doesn't play out as linear as many scenarios and that seemed to add some time in my mind.

Thanks for running this Chaosorbit. Gotta say I really liked it particularly as it felt more like a real adventure than a simple list of encounters as mayn scenarios play out.

Your Welcome...yep I think it's a fun one. This is my second time running it, the first time the PCs posing as slavers left the ones posing as slaves enslaved for several days. They actually left the fort and then came back. It was quite interesting to see the tension's rising about the plan they were trying to work out. This one can definitely play out in different ways. You guys definitely played it smart. Well done!

I'll be running the special 6-97: Siege of Serpents, but that doesn't start until December.

I was thinking about running another scenario for the first part of gameday 4. But might start it a few days late. Any requests?

Well if i continue on with this character he will probably be level 8 after this weekend. But i have plenty of lower level characters as well. Any of the new season 7 or some of the older ones would be cool.

I'll try to figure it out. Have fun at your convention this weekend Ozak.
