Cap'n Voodoo |

Shall we adjourn to the veranda?
Half-Hitch unbars the door and moves through with the others yelling at Janore to close it behind them and not to open it again until he says so.
Below you, a half dozen dripping forms gaze up at you: five drowned sailors and their captain. The captain looks to have been a tall Ulfen dressed in the remains of Chelish finery- several centuries outdated and badly decomposed. His burning red eyes take you in as he chokes up on a heavy axe.
Then in a voice from the darkest sea trenches, the captain commands in accented Taldan, "Haf ot dem, T'ralls!" The sailors gaze up at you through dead eyes and smile with algae stained teeth, an act that released a torrent of thick dark blood from their slashed throats.

Cap'n Voodoo |

A pair of serpentine force bolts strike the tall dead Ulfen man and Kaul chucks a javelin into the face of the climbing deadite causing him to lose his grip and fall back to the floor. Dibbets takes care of bolstering fortitude as Jim readies for the attack. Other than the captain, the dead men bear no weapons, but you reckon a blow from one those water laden limbs would hurt quite a bit nonetheless.
The captain swears, "Gottenverdammer Zauberer!" and moves to the center of the room muttering as thick fog rises from the floor filling the entire room and obscuring everything beyond your armspan. Suddenly two dead sailors lurch over the edge of the balcony and into view bringing a stench like muck marinated death. Half-Hitch screams and tosses his dagger past his attacker.

Round 4: 2nd Level spells 3/4 cast
The descent of mists leaves Dibbets uneasy... but not for long. Calling on Gozreh's aid, he takes an almighty breath in and a step back before exhaling with force. An eruption of wind spews forth from his mouth flooding past Kaul and Dingus and leaving a slight smell of rotted meat and stale beer in it's wake.
5ft to E,15 - then cast Gust of Wind aiming in a line between Kaul and Dingus (E-W along the line between D row and E row)

Jim advances into the thick of the fight (to D-13), going around Kaul, and takes a swipe at the deader at D-12. With the fog cleared by dint of Dibbets' deed, the Taldan has little trouble seeing well enough to connect with his curved knife.

Flanking light mace attack w/paired opportunity and Judgement of Destruction -> 1d6 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + (5) + 2 = 11

Cap'n Voodoo |

Dingus retreats around the corner with a toss of a handful of maggoty pale snakes that gnaw on the drowned sailor. the Groom steps forward to gang up on the deadite, but his swing skitters off the slimy leather armor that still protects it.
Kaul gleefully steps up to join the melee, but his powerful swing narrowly misses the dead man and thunks into the wooden floorboards instead. Trapped in the corner, Half-Hitch protects himself by wildly waving his dagger, but fails to deflect a heavy arm that smashes into him covering him with muck and rotted flesh causing the halfling to immediately lose his lunch.
The sailor at Jim’s feet grabs for his legs while another clambers up and clobbers him with a heavy arm covered in liquefied flesh, worms, and assorted scum eaters. Dibbets looks up in alarm as yet another dead sailor looms into view after having obviously made it up the damaged stairs.

As the sodden sailor at his feet grabs for him, Jim lands a solid chop with his kukri; he isn't able to get a decent shot at the one next to him, though.
