I'd like to run The Confirmation for Core credit. If you'd like to join, please create your character and apply by answering to this thread.
Some questions/information:
- Only PFS Core legal characters, I'm going to check this
- I prefer characters with 0XP to make it a 'real' confirmation
- Please tell me if you played this scenario before and how many times
- Your character is not allowed to play in any other games (live or PbP doesn't matter) during this game. I'm mentioning this, because in the past I found out that people sometimes do that.
- I'm not a native speaker, if you don't like typos or bad grammar, please don't apply
- Apply only if you are ready to post at least once in 24 hours to keep this game alive and release the characters for other games within 1-2 months.
- I'm in Europe, GMT+1 timezone
- I usually post several times a day
That's it I think :)

I'm pretty sure they would have to be separate.
I'm not sure what Hadanka will be yet. I just recently found out about the core option. So I haven't given it much thought yet. I suppose I'm likely to go for the classic Andoran (excuse me Liberties Edge) switch hitting ranger.
Though for some reason, I'm seriously considering a dragon disciple build.
But if we find that something in particular is needed based on party makeup, I have no problem running something else and just rebuilding him after.

According to Mike's answer it's seperated. Somebody asked about the wayfinder and it's free for the first character earning it in the core-campaign.

I'll be creating a human Paladin to begin my Core career. I'd love to join up with you on this one.
@Cade: The Core Campaign was just announced, and what it essentially means is that you create characters using only rules from the Core Rulebook. It essentially lets those of us who have been playing PFS for a long time replay many scenarios, and makes it easier for new players and new GMs to get started without having to know rules from 500 different books.
So no, unfortunately, a wayang cavalier would definitely not be Core. If you'd like to read up on it, here's the relevant blog post:
Core Campaign Announcement
EDIT: Cade seems to have deleted his/her post. Oh well. :)

And here I am, another paladin also keen to play.
I too have GMed and played and/or GMed this scenario a lot, probably close on a dozen times now.
Just a quick look at your character sheet, but Aspu isn't in the Core Rulebook, so I don't think she can worship her in Core. Or am I wrong there?

here is my character for this game. Korin
i have never played this one before. I can post several times a day, and for the next two years i will be in the Europe, GMT+1 timezone
hope to get in ^_^

Oh yes, can use it for face-to-face or play-by-post. Just not both at the same time with the same character.
What I do is, every time my lowest level character advances to 2nd level, I start working on a new level 1 character. I am up to 6 of them counting this one scattered from 1st to 10th level. I normally have between 0 and 3 active in a PbP and that gives me plenty to have one ready for FtF game day at our local shop.
It also means I now have one in every subtier, so I almost never have to play a pregen if I don't want to do so.
Min of 3 players if the GM also runs a pregen. (Not usual, PbP almost always fill up.)
Max of 7 players. (Also not usual, GM's will almost always stop letting people in at 6.)
So normal is 4-6 characters at a table with the GM.
Note: Not trying to talk you out of it or anything like that, just want you to be aware. The Monk is generally considered one of the more difficult classes for a new player. I don't think it is as bad as some people, but I agree it isn't the easiest. But go ahead and give it a shot. You can always completely rebuild your character between scenarios until you play as a 2nd level character. So if after a couple of scenarios, you decide you'd rather be a barbarian, you can.
Have you downloaded and read the Guide to Organized Play yet?

Thank you, I have read over the Organized Play materials. Also, I have played before—just not Pathfinder—so I'm not exactly a "new player," though I thank you for the head-up.
Honestly, I'm on the fence about Core or Regular. I like Core, because I'm just getting started and don't have all the books, and I like the idea of simplified options so that I'm not getting left behind by a lot of munchkins. But there's a regular PFS game in my hometown. I think I'm going to wait on PbP until I know which flavor they tend to play, so I'm not investing a lot of time in a Core character I couldn't get any meatspace play out of. Or vice versa.
I guess it depends on when the GM plans to start this session, and whether I'll be able to get over and meet the local crew before then.

GM Baerlie. you know me as Kavaki Gossamar in other games. I'ld like to hold a spot here for a new character. I'm not sure which yet, but i'm currently at work, and can't get a new "core" character created until tomorrow.
He will be 1 of the following:
Human monk
Elf Fighter
Elf Rogue
I would love to be included in the group

Recruitment closed!
Thanks for your applications, I will go through them and post the squad tomorrow.
Thanks Hádanka for answering the questions :)
Yes, I usually accept 4-6 players depending on the season/scenario. PbP I usually don't run with a pregen, if only three people are interested I wait some time and recruit again.
If you don't like the Core campaign, you can always change to the 'extended' campaign, but switching back is not possible.

Well, if I did not make a mistake, 12 players applied with their characters and I decided to run 2 tables with 6 players each.
Table 1:
PFS CORE - Hádanka (Ranger 1)
Ira kroll/Galton (Monk 1)
Auriferous (Paladin 1)
Nemrok Blacktusk (Wizard 1)
PFS CORE - Dolgrym of the Woods (Druid 1)
Tessara Faeriss (Fighter 1)
Table 2:
PFS CORE-Korin Sangre (Ranger 1)
Brother Yorrick (Monk 1)
Gailen Windbreak (Paladin 1)
PFS Core - Neru (Wizard 1)
Bulroar Slip (Bard 1)
gossamar4 (Monk, Fighter, Rogue)
