Nice one Kallyan. Ajax is keeping his fingers crossed.

For my own edification, how do you determine which spell is dispelled?
GM G
For example, a 7th-level caster casts dispel magic, targeting a creature affected by stoneskin (caster level 12th) and fly (caster level 6th). The caster level check results in a 19. This check is not high enough to end the stoneskin (which would have required a 23 or higher), but it is high enough to end the fly (which only required a 17). Had the dispel check resulted in a 23 or higher, the stoneskin would have been dispelled, leaving the fly intact. Had the dispel check been a 16 or less, no spells would have been affected.

So I assume you choose the lowest caster level at which the spell can be cast from any class? EDIT: Wait, it looks like it's using the level of the person who cast it?
What happens if two spells have the same caster level?
GM G
Ah, now I understand your question.
I look at the caster level used to cast the spell and default to standard PFS rules for magic items if cast from scroll, potion or wand.
As for two spells with the same caster level: randomize.

yeah...this is confusing, so tell me if I'm understanding this correctly...
Here's the PRD on Dispel Magic,
Targeted Dispel: One object, creature, or spell is the target of the dispel magic spell. You make one dispel check (1d20 + your caster level) and compare that to the spell with highest caster level (DC = 11 + the spell's caster level).
At first I thought this was the spell's level. But in the example that you posted, it has Stoneskin as caster level 12=DC23. Stoneskin is a 4th level spell for a Wizard/Sorc, 5th level Druid. Wizards can cast at that at 7th level, Sorcerers at 8, and Druids at lvl 9. So for the example to use a DC of 23 for Stoneskin means that it must be the level of the person who cast it determines what the DC is, correct?
For an item/potion, you'd use the minimum level of the caster needed to create the spell.
So in our case, if the Monk cast a spell, the DC would be 11+Monk's level. If he's using an item, it would be the minimum caster level need to create the item. And Dispel Magic starts with the highest DC, correct?

Now it is correct :-)

Thanks.
Ajax' first arrow hits the monk!
He didn't forget to deflect it did he? :)
Totally cool to fix that if he should have.

Touch should be 14 becusae of rage.
10 base
+2 dex
+1 dodge
+1 deflect
+1 insight
-1 rage = 14
So the two 19s will hit for sure.
Not sure where the -40hp comes from though. Should be 22 down by my calculations.
GM G
Thanks Vrald,
As you might have noticed I put down -22 hp OR -40 hp. The latter in case your touch AC <= 13. That way I only have to scroll up to my latest post, knowing I have reflected in there what has come before.
I can see a +1 trait bonus from Defender of the Society, where are the deflect and insight coming from?
And how does that interact with the line in your profile: "(+14 Armor, +6 Shield, +2 Dex, +1 Natural, +1 Misc)"?
- - -
Ok, I found the insight: dusty rose ioun stone. I guess the deflect is actually the trait bonus?

@GM - You have every body bold, is the monk unable to move or did you just forget to unbold Isonda, Shel, and Kallyan?

Wow...2, 1, 1, 6, and a 12. Thank god those were not saving throws. That's what I get for shaking my head at Shel's rolls.
EDIT: @GM - I assume Ajax can see the scorching rays are fire damage, yes?
EDIT: Wow, another 4 and a 2.

Deflect is a ring of protection. I'll have to look at that details line as it is generated by the character sheet. It should show it there I would have thought.
@GM I thought he third attack was against Sarnoc not Vrald. Now I see where the extra damage may have come from.

Let me know when the time comes for Chronicles - I can still do that (provided I get everyone's E-mail address and some help with getting a version of the Chronicle I can actually edit and send out)!

Do I give you and GM Granta Chronicles too? How does that work?
I'm DMing In Your Closet
Does that mean my Chronicle is Shifty's job, too?
As for the rest of you, please post your E-mail addresses so I can send you your Chronicles.

Thanks to our trio of GMs! And my fellow pathfinders for a fun time! This special left me feeling ill-equipped a few times, got some gaps to fill in Sarnoc's game, still I think we did good overall.

As for what you did with most of it, I think the term is "pwned."
I think my favorite part was Vrald's nude scene, though.

Thanks to our GMs for taking the time. GMing by PbP takes a lot longer than GMing F2F, so I appreciate the time investment.
Enjoyed playing with everyone on the team. Apologies if I ask too many questions.

Well, there was a lady in distress!
And no knight is under-dressed when he has his sword out.
Okay, maybe that could have been phrased better.
To be fair, he did have a shield on as well.

Game reported! Chronicles will go out once I have everyone's E-mail address.
So far I have Sarnoc's, Vrald's and Shel's.

I'm having a bit of technical difficulty, please stand by.
I E-mailed you about it, Vrald.

Player moniker: Arrowhawk on Mythweavers
Character name: Ajax Arrowhawk
PFS character ID#: 43870-1
Day Job roll: Depends...Day job will depend on whether I fulfill a Faction mission or not....I think.
So what's it gonna be, Ajax? I'm pretty sure you didn't fulfill any Liberty's Edge objectives this game.

Chronicles sent!
Let me know if anything's wrong.
Ajax, I took the liberty of deducing what you intended to do with your downtime. I can of course fix it if I erred.

My Internet connection's down (I'm posting from a local cafe), and will apparently be that way for the next few days, so if my post rate seems to slow down, that's why. I'll do my best to keep up, though.
I'll be keeping this thread open a few days longer, just to make sure everything's tidy.
