Jerome are you going to his throne?
A few moments later...
Marcus lifts and heaves the decedent over his shoulder. [[oc]I assume you can lift and carry him but I didn't check your carrying capacity.[/ooc]
Dinetta begins to stress a bit, her voice cracks, as he looks around quickly. Her eyes not really fixating on anything valuable other than Jean's dueling swords.
"Lock down procedures initiated. Bio-fulminatory manumission countdown initiated. Manumission executed in seventy-four meggon-fractals. "

Looking around at the others.
Lets get out of here.
She grabs the dueling swords that Jean was so fond of and sticks them in her backpack. Then she takes her mithral dagger and pries the strange green shard from the forehead of the creature before turning to the control panel.
Anyone know how this thing operates?
With that, she begins to try to decipher the alien panel.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 <-- add +2 for any traps
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 <-- maybe? <-- +2 for traps

With the touching of the control panel weird light of green and orange begin to arc between keys. Jerome touches one key then another quickly.
Two saves:
electrical damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
electrical damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
*reflex 15 half damage.
The sound from the box announces: "Interior lockdown protocol now initiated."

As soon as your exit the command room the portal shuts. "Command Center lock down complete. Bio-fulminatory manumission countdown initiated. Manumission executed in seventy-two meggon-fractals."
A similar procedure is executed at every stage of the your exit. By the time you get back to leach pool room the transmission states, "Bio-fulminatory manumission countdown initiated. Manumission executed in sixty-four meggon-fractals." A sinking feeling hits the party, especially those that lack size and acrobatic skills. How to cross the leach pool without falling in and losing valuable meggon-fractals!

Dinetta looks to the others.
Help me jump across. I will connect a grappling hook around the next door. Jerome and Revhi can climb across while Marcus holds the rope taught. Then, we reverse the grappling hook and Revhi, Jerome and I can hold the rope while Marcus climbs across.
Acrobatics(jump): 1d20 + 10 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 3 = 33 <-- extra +3 assumes someone can "Aid Another" and help her jump
--> Not that she really needs it with that roll, should allow her to jump 33 feet.
Once across, Dinetta connects the rope (using a grappling hook or pitons (she has 10)), to enable the others to climb across above the leaches.
--> I assume you can use the grappling hook to sort of connect to the door jam/frame of an open doorway.

Marcus will indeed hold the rope nice and taut

After some effort the group manages to cross the leach pond and you eventually make your way out of the ship. Your jolly boat is where you left it. Once safely aboard the The Sealord’s Blessing, you feel the rumble first that is followed by a mzssive explosion. Thus, ends this adventure. Congratulations!

Dinetta shakes her head as she watches the ship explode. Turning to the other survivors standing near her, she speaks her mind:
Strange that anything that intelligent would be so bent on destruction. Reminds me of Lamashtu worshippers. So strange and such a waste.
Not sure what the others are planning, but I am up for further adventuring if others, and Baldwin, are up for it. Ir would fun to see how my Halfling Opportunist grows.

It was a blast all! If baldwin decides to run some more pirate-style adventures than Revhi will be happy to be aboard! As for now, happy gaming all!
