When Gerard moves back into the treasure chamber Jarvis grabs at him to prevent him form doing anything foolish.

'Andrea can y'dispel him...he's under that Thing's influence...I've seen it before when I was captured.

He doesn't get a hold on Gerard but he is able to get stand between the rope and rogue.

Did anybody pick up on my shout about the woman drowning. Daniel has everything SLOWED (except Illnerik) and could try to save the woman, but that means no attacking and slashy slash is what he does best.

The way things unfolded in round 1, it would have been difficult for anyone to act on Daniel's warning besides your slow spell hit at the end of the round. Jarvis really needed to hold up Gerard.

I dont know if this is RAW but it makes sense. Buffed with AID and Inspire Courage
With the realisation that the shadows could not hard him Daniel needed to get to Illerik AND closer to saving the woman.

Remaining where he was he was in no danger.
The smart thing would be to kill the shadows and NOT surround himself. The SMART thing would be to deal with the threats surrounding his allies and pick their foes apart one by one.

Then he heard the woman scream again!
Andrea! We need you to channel against the undead.

With that he has no time to form more words... so he pictures his goddess in his mind. She was beautiful, powerful and she would NEVER leave him.

He steps THROUGH the incorporal shadow before him moving to X18 clearing a line for Em to use the morrowfall. Using his WEAPON MASTER domain power he CLEAVES both the shadows in W17, 18.
W17:
Inspired, Aid, Power Attack Cleave: 1d20 + 17 + 2 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (1) + 17 + 2 + 1 - 3 = 18
2 hand power attack: 1d8 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 + 2 + 9 = 24

Well, if these are nromal shadows he would have killed both, but a 1 is an auto miss, but one survived a 37hp searing light so must be advanced.

Daniel - Aid is morale bonus and inspire courage is a morale bonus for saves and a competence bonus for Att/Dam.

Aid grants the target a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and saves against fear effects, plus temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + caster level (to a maximum of 1d8+10 temporary hit points at caster level 10th).

Inspire Courage (Su): A 1st level bard can use his performance to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to perceive the bard’s performance. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. At 5th level, and every six bard levels thereafter, this bonus increases by +1, to a maximum of +4 at 17th level. Inspire courage is a mind-affecting ability. inspire courage can use audible or visual components. The bard must choose which component to use when starting his performance.

Inspire Courage: You will get the +3 inspire competency bonus for att/dam. +3 morale bonus on saves for charm/fear.

Aid: You will get the +1 morale bonus on Att/Dam and temp HP.

Orsin continues his battle hymn, likewise Daniel and Jarvis can hear a strange evil melody echoing within the chamber.

Orsin sees the new threat behind him and goes into his PA,

longsword using Power Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26;dam: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21

longsword using Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15;dam: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24

Both attacks hit for 10 Hp, 12 Hp respectively but the swarm is still up.
