Having dropped his sword, Orsin takes a five-foot step to U17 and gestures with his hands wildly. Arcs of bright blue electricity crackle about his body before gathering into a single bolt.

Orsin uses the third from the left-shaped line of effect to catch both shadows in his path.

ORSIN - Looking at the third form the left it actually hits the first shadow then goes into the hall way and hits the wall. The second from the left will hit the shadow, the rat swarm and Daniel, then the last shadow, and finally the last swarm. Tell me how you want to handle it. Daniel is at risk.

I just remembered that swarms are immune to these type of spells.

swarm:

A swarm is immune to any spell or effect that targets a specific number of creatures (including single-target spells such as disintegrate), with the exception of mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms) if the swarm has an Intelligence score and a hive mind. A swarm takes half again as much damage (+50%) from spells or effects that affect an area, such as splash weapons and many evocation spells.

The shadows are injured as discussed above if you still want to cast the spell but Daniel will need to make the save.

Daniel the top of the sarcophagus is sealed in iron grating approximately 5 inches from the top of the tomb's lip, locked in place like a prison cell door. Water is rushing over edges at a fast rate, two vacant brown eyes stare back at you the occupant's lungs clearly filled with water. Fingers clutched count the death tomb's door.

Jarvis rushes to the other tomb, panicked with fear as he sees his young daughter struggling as life rushes out of her, her little hand reaches and touches her father's fingers through the grate. Jarvis takes a deep breath and plunges his faces next to the grate breathing into his daughter's lungs sustaining her a few moments longer.

The magical sword was sparking as hit it the lock, with a clang and screech that would hurt the ears were he not so focused. Illnerik would die, but the paladin would take the place of the woman if he could.

The Archons fly into the room and open fire on the Rat swarm besieging Gerard.

Jarvis, I can transport your daughter and I to the home of my goddess to get her out but we will be gone or a day is this acceptable? GERARD! HELP!

Offering to Plane SHift her out but both of us will be out of the fight effectivly.

The last rat swarm is destroyed with the Archon's attacks.

All the enemies are destroyed in this room. One sarcophagus is open and Daniel has pulled Jarvis wife out from the water. Jarvis is breathing air into his daughter's lungs waiting for assistance.

Daniel smashes the second grate again, Jarvis quickly pulls the door open gathering his blue daughter in his arms. She barely clings to life. Tears flowing down his face, when he notices his wife laying on the wet floor with Andrea attending her. "I...i...is ssshe going to be alright."

Meanwhile, the Lantern Archons will use their remaining time to Detect Evil to see if they can detect where Ilnerik might have vanished.

Where did Ilnerik go? Andrea asks between pushing on the woman's chest and breathing into her mouth

There is a lingering aura coming form some cracks and holes behind the dais.

The child coughs out some water and becomes alert, "Da...daddy? The she bursts in tears.

The woman remains unconscious but there is a shallow breath.

Jarvis and Glynnis are here. Andrea helps her up so she can see them. Glynnis was in a dire situation just like you. we managed to get her out and we should get all of you dry and warm.


Frank rejoins his mistress after a quick nuzzling of the poor soaked woman and sneezes in empathy.
Mistress, you and I spent far too much time out of commission in this last battle... Oh... you are moving yet again, it seems!

He jostles as Euphemia jostles over to Gerard to pat his back until he's done with his retching.
