This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.

Andrea's eyes crack open in the morning. Despite assuring Orsin that she would keep watch all night, she slipped into a dreamless sleep after just a couple of hours.
Pushing herself up, Andrea worked her shoulders and looks down at the still dozing Orsin.
Just a little more sleep for him, he deserves it. After splashing her face with some water, Andrea settle din for her mornign prayers.

Daniel had already completed his prayers...thrice. Unlike his counter part, he HAD been up all night via his KEEP WATCH miracle. He did not ask for that one today though. His small list of prayers was decidedly aggressive. After their meeting with Gerard's contact and the subsequent assassination attempt, he felt there would, sadly, be more blood today.

Andrea will rouse Orsin if he is still asleep after prayers and head out to the safehouse to meet with everyone, getting her potions bought and perhapsa discussing some tactics.
It is a sure thing that there is going to be trouble. If Gerard's contact's conact hasn't gotten in touch then something has happened. I suggest that Lucrezia and Gerard scout ahead and see if anything is amiss before the rest of us approach.

Jarvis is already having a cup of nutty coffee and some sticky buns when the group makes there way down to the meeting area. he nods to each one, and devilishly smirks at the half-elf ranger. "The buns are drizzled with a warm cinnamon honey glaze, I highly recommend it." He pops his last bite in his mouth, "Ready or do you care for a quick bite."

Lucrezia happily takes a couple of the warm and sticky buns to east as they traipse along, licking the honey off of her fingers when done.
As they move away from the safe house, Lucrezia will cast message on Andrea and move off to scout ahead.

The group finds it easy going up through the northern gate and back inot the ruined district. One noticeable difference is the pillars of flame from the mayor's mansion have calmed down considerable, almost as if that power has been harnessed. This should remind you that you can pick up the remains of the Grimm, if he was found, along with the body of the usurpers that the devils promised you.

The guards are friendly when you arrive. The recognize you and readily let you go on your way without any hassle or trouble.

Daniel walks casually at the head of the group, except for the scouts whom he is giving a good lead (up to 100ft if they wish. Within a 6 second run).
He did not walk first out of any sense of Leadership. More because he was aware of the Hellknights absence. This left him as the only heavily Armored warrior in the group. He would need to be in the thick of it straight away to let the casters do their job, and that meant being the most attractive target.

Andrea looks over to where the ruins of the manor are.After we check out Jarvis's contact, let us go retrieve Grimm's remains. Grumm no doubt will want to lay him to rest.

Ahh, I had heard about your companion. A mighty warrior of...questionable morales but a blade for the side of light at least, if rumors be true. Of course, Grumm will appreciate the gesture though I doubt be in much mood for thanks. I am unaware of any task more difficult than outliving thier own child.
The paladin is sincere. He had never really known is parents and was quietly thankful he had never known THAT pain. Though he had lost many fellows at the Worldwound.

Lucrezia I already used your previous perception check which revealed that you see several suspicious eyes taking note of Daniel specifically. You've seen three separate people duck into various alleys and buildings when they observed him approach. You've even seen one shop sign go from "OPEN" to "CLOSED."

After scouting the alley entrance and the area around the entrance for a good 20 to 30 minutes each member is confident there coast is clear from ambush or any unsavory folks that could cause harm.

The alley itself is deserted, but the sound of some folks setting up for that night's dusk market which is set to open nearby that evening is present. merchants and guards are hurrying in and out of the the buildings nearby. A smaller side alley leading to the east comes to an end in the ruins of a collapsed building, while to the south the main alley ends at a tumbled-down old well, now filled in with rubble.
Jarvis looks at the group, "I know you all don't trust me much...I'll lead the way, if you want. His shop is at the end of the alley, it has the red doors."
I need some time to get the map ready.

I assumed Lucrezia and Gerard canvassed the area and noted the rubble filled side alley on east side of the map. The rubble is exceptionally dangerous and risky for cave-ins and collapsing.

Andrea had mentioned trying to get someone on a rooftop are you doing that and if so, please identify who has that tasks and which of the buildings. Provide the Hex numbers. the buildings are 20 feet so, I will need climb checks.
