I agree that we got some useful info but I am at a blank for wrangling further questions into a yes/no format. Questions such as Is the Totemrix/Infernal Contract at Walcourt?' are like the questions about Ilnerik's skills.
Totemrix is no doubt his most valued thing and he sleeps with it.
Contract is very likely there.
Asking 'Are there guards at Walcourt?' is also a pretty easy 'Yes' I think it is a sure thing that Shadowbeasts are there as well.

The whole speech after the teasing Frank bit was delivered in a rather quiet reflective, introspective and pleading sort of way... A call to action.

It's his nature, background, training, even a trait +1 hit/damage vs those holding others against their will.
As a person, I get what he was getting at. Character drama, not player drama.
If the DM just says... "You can't patrol", that's fine. But feels dishonorable. We're going to rest "again" which means a full compliment of spells, abilities, power & morrowfall are wasted.
Story wise seems limp.
And we've succumb to terrorism... And are doing exactly what they meant for us to do. Hide at night. If we were out of spells, Gerard could be convinced.
Imagine a room full of endless spawns. That's outside at night. Euphemia needs an hour with her familiar to regain spells. As soon as dawn hits, Euphemia will be amenable to scouting out the destination with Gerard.
I thought we had more time, we fast forwarded to midnight. I had imagined 7-8pm, offering the group about 2 hours to patrol and get a full nights rest.
