This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.

The only problem with moving on is that if we run into more shadows and if any hit Andrea, she could die.

I have one Death Ward scroll that I can use on myself if need be, but losing the Death Ward wand was a big blow.

After the chatting, Andrea will plop down for a 15 minute pray for her Restoration and then cast it on herself.
John, here is Andrea's Lesser Restoration for you that cna be cast whenever.

I also have one 2nd level slot I can prep. Suggestions..
1.Concencrate. Since this place is lousy with undead a debuff on a bunch might be good
2.Eagle's Splender. +2 to my Channel DC
3.SIlence. Stop enemy spell casters)Orsin still has his wand)
4.Spear of Purity. ANother 3d8 ranged touch attack with bonuses against evil outsiders.
5.Align weapon/Weapon of awe buff someone's weapon

Something to keep in mind once again is that undead, wether Shadows or Vampires can wreck your day with energy/ability drain. I have one scroll available. We can leave for 1 day to resupply and perhaps buy a few scrolls from Alistar and I can pray for two. It will get very ugly when those negative levels start piling up

I'd dump the magic weapon for more Bless.
Bless affects everyone and most of us are carrying magic weapons already.
Better to hit everyone in one go.
Confusion is pure win but we have fought nothing but undead who are immune.

It sounds like Andrea would like to rest. Since she is our main divine caster and we are facing a lot of undead, I say we rest. I could replenish spells too. Thank you for organizing the loot list Andrea. There is not much there for a wizard.

Bless is a 50' burst so everyone will be tagged when it is cast. :) But I'll swap it as you suggest
I will be on most of the day. i would like to rest but if most people want to head out, fine. Just remember that things will be adjusted up due to our numbers and we could be facing twice as much as the module originally had.
Edit: Also COnfusion is my domain spell so it is there regardless since I don't have naything else to use there.

Andrea - would I do such a thing? Of course! I added a nasty little template to one creature, who I hope gets to use it. You are correct both the size of your party and the level of your party impacts what I add to the encounter.
for instance the Bisby encounter called for two shadows, I added the third in the room and the one in the hallway (to keep the rear guard entertained)

John will take one of the javelins, the other should go to Lucrezia since she will have a better time hitting with it since she is a ranged character. John will take one of the rings of swimming and the ring of climbing that he will hold unto. John would also like the bones. I think someone already took the ROP +1.

Okay. I will be heading out for work soon so I will set up what I would like to do nce we get done sleeping and are ready for the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.
When we enter the summoning room, Andrea will cast Magic Circle Against Evil on Orsin. (+2 AC/Saves against Evil, protects against mental effects. 70 Minutes.) We should try to overlap the entire group
Then Resist Energy(Fire) on Herself and Shadow
Andrea will then cast Remove Fear from her spell list which will protect Lucrezia and Orsin (+4 saves vs. fear 10 minutes)
Then use two scrolls of resist fear on Herself and John 9(+4 Saves vs fear for 10 minutes)
Once the way is open, Andrea will cast Bless +1 Hit +1 Saves vs. fear 7 minutes) Then Death Ward on Orsin,herself and Truk (7 minutes)
She will then use Magic weapon on John's silver mace and Fleur's x-bow(+1 enchantment 7 minutes)

Just so we're on the same page Baldwin, you're ruling that the hp gained from barbarian rage are temporary hitpoints?

Your rage boosts your con which provides a secondary effect of increasing your HPs. That increase is temporary but the HP can be healed unlike temporary HPs. For instance, if you are raging and increase your HPs and you are injured Andrea can channel healing to cure you, as long as you are raging.
The artifact that you and John have simply does not stack with any non-permanent HP bonus regardless of the source. Since your raging HPs are not permanent it does not stack when you rage. As long as you are not raging, you have the temporary HPs from the artifact.

Exactly. The HP bonus from the bones will not stack with any temporary HP bonus from a spell.
Considering there are 32 bones there is the potential for any awful lot of HPs.

If we start collecting a bunch of them I suggest we split then among all of the melee folks. That would be Truk, John, Orsin, and Grimm.
Stacking them all on John/Truk seems like a bad idea.

How many can we share? I don't mind not having them since my post rate is down to 2-3 a day at my new job.
