Arakan can't piece together the weird symbols, but decides that the two fools that have dwarven blood are even worse. He tries to help the old man pantomime a discussion, considering he may have still been alive back from the time this dwarf is from.

The ghost watches the party prancing with a look on its face of confusion that eventually turns to dawning realisation. It bobs in the air in a sort of nod, then suddenly rushes at Gart. The disembodied head, which is bigger than Gart is tall, engulfs the mercenary. His whole body is lit up with the glowing ectoplasmic dust from the ghost. His body spasms, his eyes roll back into his head and he falls unconscious to floor. The ghost simply disappears.
Gart:
OK, Gart's lying on the floor, no one cares. Time for:

Just because I didn't post a response within the 24 hours after it happened doesn't mean Arakan doesn't care... who am I kidding? Arakan doesn't care ;)
When the wisp engulfs and incapacitates Gart, Arakan's first instinct is to run. He doesn't know what happened to the enemy, so he isn't sure where he could run or if it would help. Instead, he decides to take stock of what happened to Gart. If he's dead, they can take anything useful he had, otherwise one of the thick-headed lunks can carry him if they want.

"he's not bleeding."
I'll shake gart, see if he's responsive.
Then listen for breathing and feel for a pulse.
Point at Arakan;
"You. Activate the emergency response system."
Maybe Safier can do shocking grasp and defibrillate him.

Th'Kal just stands transfixed. The strange ghostly hairy creature is odd enough, but the group's attempts to talk to it are stranger still. It is clearly some normal ritual for soft-skins.
The attack on Gart brings up Th'Kal's axe and he would've stood gaurd with his back to Gart till the dwarf roused himself.

The group, led by Gart and Furio, approach the statue. It lies in a field of boulders, and getting close to it could be tricky.
I.e. it will require Athletics checks.

Arakan notes the instability of the ceiling, but enough of them have mentioned it that he doesn't feel like he's adding a whole lot saying 'yup'. Instead he just concentrates on not falling. When something catches his eye he decides to ease his way that direction, hoping to get a closer look. Maybe it's some of that precious metal.

Ignorant of the danger that the others seem to keep professing about the ceiling, Th'Kal makes his way towards the statue. He takes note of the same sparkle that Arakan sights and attempts to keep pace with the half-elf, axe ready, and extremely aware of the surroundings.

Gart will point at the shiny thing "What is that? Maybe someone got caught in a rockfall. We could see what they had on them."
Peering closer, the shiny object looks like an oddly-shaped piece of the metal stuff with which the statue seems to be covered. It is wedged between a couple of boulders, but it might be possible to wiggle it free.

Arakan waves over the Kreen, with its oddly skinny arms for their strength. As he waits he creates a long thin bar of sorts that he could use as a lever to lift the heavier stones.

Th'Kal follows Arakan's motion and watches as Furio tries to rush into lifting the stones out of the way. He instead takes his time to get a good grip and solid leverage...
Taking ten:
Athletics: 10 + 11 = 21
Th'Kal takes the psionically-conjured crowbar and takes his time prising the rocks apart. With his smaller set of claws he fishes the object out and holds it up in triumph. But as he releases the bar the rocks shift. There is an ominous rumble and the boulders begin to slip.

As soon as Th'Kal has the shiny object Arakan dismisses the tool and makes haste away from the rubble. "Move now, it's all gonna come tumbling down." He heads in the direction away from the Hej-kin, not wanting to be trapped on the same side as them by a rockfall.
