Runzyl Steelsong |

Hemmed in by the golems swinging wildly around him, Runzyl grits his teeth.
"Gurtha nae i' hakar!"
Whipped into a frenzy, the Valenar's blades flash to and fro with lethal precision.
Activate whirling frenzy, full attack action on the 2-armed golem.
1.)1d20 + 25 ⇒ (3) + 25 = 28 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 damage.
2.)1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16 damage.
3.)1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 damage.
4.)1d20 + 25 ⇒ (5) + 25 = 30 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 damage.
5.)1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 damage.
#2, 3, & 5 are critical threats. Confirmations:
2.)1d20 + 20 ⇒ (19) + 20 = 39 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 bonus damage.
3.)1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15 bonus damage.
5.)1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31 to hit, dealing 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 bonus damage.
Miss chance rolls, if applicable (above 20 is good): 1d100 ⇒ 50, 1d100 ⇒ 37, 1d100 ⇒ 44, 1d100 ⇒ 44, 1d100 ⇒ 26.
If any of those drop the two-armed, the remainder will go at the 1-armed one.

The battle-cry of his ancestors on his lips, Runzyl carves one of the golems back into the insensate chunks of inanimate flesh from which it was created.
2-arm golem down.
Gil.

Gil |

Gil looks at the mentalist. "Do you see it?"
Assuming he still can and indicates that it is ahead, she will continue to follow it with a double move. I'm thinking that Nev will catch it and she will simply assist once his strikes indicate where to aim.
If he cannot still see it, she will take an action to cast See Invisibility and then move to continue following it.

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

OK, I need to give Gil and Nev a view on the puckwudgie. It is running way at full tilt, invisible but not otherwise attempting to conceal itself. That means it's covering 120' a round. It's about 250' away now. Nev can cover that, and Gil can probably catch up, but it will be a separate fight effectively as you'll be leaving the others. So let me know what you intend - if you go in pursuit, you'll be going to spoilers.

Gil |

Gil is at the mercy of the psychic warrior unless she gives up a precious move action to cast see invisibility. She might be better off casting fly, but then she can't see her target. I hesitate to get too far from the others for reasons that I hope are obvious...

Someone needs to take Ez's turn.
In the meantime, this is the new map - you can't see the join (in the immortal words of Eric and Ernie - apologies to anyone not conversant with 1970's British comedy classics)!
I've kind-of imputed positions for Gil and Nev based on their comments above - hope those are OK. The pukwudgie is invisible - at the moment only Nev can actually see it.

Green Giant |

Stormbolt is a reserve feat keyed off of Ez's preparation of a spell with the electricity descriptor.
Stormbolt is a supernatural ability as per Complete Mage. Also he can unleash the bolt even if he is bound or gagged and is unaffected by spell resistance or be countered or dispelled.
So even if he is silenced and webbed, Ez can still unleash a stormbolt.
Ez's Ref save vs web: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25.

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

OK, he's not webbed but the web is still difficult terrain. Also, he can't see damn all from BF10 given the lecture theatre slopes down. So he can go with his original action. However, the guys behind the slab have total cover - you cannot really reach them with a Storm Bolt - so you can choose a different set of targets if you wish.

Rodergo Xativa |

I'm looking at it; I'm sure he can hit S3 from BF 10.
If I draw a straight line from the bottom right corner of square BF 10, I can cross the squares inhabited by S3 and S2 without crossing the corner at square BI 9; this leads me to believe that Ez can hit both S3 and S2.
If this is indeed so, this is what I think Ez should do; I still think he should at least blast S3 if that is all that is possible.
Any objections?

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

Reflex saves
S2 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
S3 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Close, but...
Ezreal summons lightning and blasts two of the students. They drop, twitching spastically.
S2 and S3 down. They were next in the initiative, but not any more.

The puckwudgie runs pell-mell for the door to the deeper temple (though only Nev can actually see it go).

Janosz Frogshanks |

My positioning is really awkward. So...
"F~#@ this. I'm taking the fight to them. Follow me if you can!" Janosz shoulders past the golem and runs down the stair, firing as he goes.
Move to BO 11. My route is BK11-BL10-BM10-BN10-BO11 (I have Longstrider running). This gives the golem up to four AoOs (if it has Combat Reflexes and high DEX, of course). My AC is 28. Reflex save 8+17=25 versus the sticky Web. CMB roll to then power through the Web 13+13=26. New Fort save versus the gas cloud 9+12=21.
After all that, I then shoot Student 8 in the face, using Manyshot and, should it matter, Clustered Shots.
Attack roll 11+19+4(favoured enemy)+1(PBS)=AC 32, damage 2d8+6+8(favoured enemy)+2(PBS)=25 + 8 fire + 7 electricity.
Gelb!

AoO from the golem: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 to hit, damage 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (6, 3) + 5 = 14
An arrow in the face often offends, but the nearest student doesn't survive long enough to complain as Janosz kills him at short range. The golem swings clumsily but doesn't get near the Shadowmarcher as Janosz skips nimbly around it.

"Time to die, knaves!", Janosz yells at the class as he emerges from the noxious cloud. "Hit me with your best shot before it's too late!"
Aubrey, did the shots I fired at the Lecturer just bounce off him, or were they blocked before they go that far - i.e. does it seem like he has an invisible barrier in front of him, or is he heavily armoured?

Student 5 delays until after the Lecturer.
The smoke clears as the lecturer pops up from behind the slab brandishing a scroll. He utters a few syllables of vileness and dread magic flows into the room.
OK, he's casting Horrid Wilting. He needs to make a caster check for the scroll to work: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20 v DC 16. OK, that's succeeded. Everyone except Nev and Gil, please make a DC 22 Fort save. If you fail you take 15d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 2, 5, 1, 1, 3, 1, 6, 2, 2, 4, 1, 6) = 42 damage, half on a successful save. EDIT: Wow - crap damage.
One of the students also behind the slab with the lecturer gets up and moves over to the blackboard at the back of the hall. It is a sliding affair, which he moves aside to reveal another blackboard underneath. The one one top had fairly mundane details on mummifaction and the creation of golems, but the one beneath was clearly dealing with some very different necromantic lore. A hideous symbol, agonising to even look upon, pulses with necromantic power.
OK, that's a Symbol of Pain. Gelb and Janosz are in its range and must make DC 23 Fortitude saves or be wracked with pain, imposing a -4 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks and ability checks for the next hour.
On the plus side, the Lecturer and Student 5 no longer have total cover.
The one-armed golem is a bit confused, as golems often are, by Janosz's escape. So it focuses on Runzyl instead.
Attack on Runzyl
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21, damage 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 8) + 5 = 21
Nev, then Runzyl.

Vattmona |

Haven't seen much of Fatey lately, so...
Runzyl keeps slicing up the remaining golem.
Activate whirling frenzy, full attack action on the 2-armed golem.
Attack 1: 11+25=AC 36, damage 1d6+13=17.
Attack 2: 10+20=AC 30, damage 1d6+13=16.
Attack 3: 12+15=AC 27, damage 1d6+13=18.
Attack 4: 7+25=AC 32, damage 1d6+9=14.
Attack 5: 11+20=AC 31, damage 1d6+9=13.
Huh - no crits. ;P Hwever, as Runzyl is raging, his weapon punches straight through all DR, including DR/Adamantine. Huzzah!

Gil |

Gil runs full-tilt to catch up with the kalashtar. Breathing heavily, the changeling whispers, "We will have to let him flee. If he finds whoever he seeks before we catch him, we will be hard-pressed to do much good. Better we return to the others and let them know he got away so when the reinforcements arrive, we are all together. Perhaps we put a scare in him and he will only run and hide."

Reflex save for S4 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
The student takes the full brunt of the blast from Ezreal but somehow stays upright by clinging to the wall.
Gil and Nevharath hear the sound of a stone door opening and the fleeing feet of the puckwudgie.

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

The student utters dire words of power.
S1 pops up and casts a spell, losing total cover. Janosz, Will save DC 17. If you fail:
If you succeed, no effect and it's your turn.
