If you go to my main account (JTM93) you will find an Email. If you can't host the stat block and would rather send it to me that way you are able to. For the Subject enter Arena Of The Gods, Your characters name, your forum ID.

Okay, sounds fine. There go the awesome mental images, though... sigh.
In any case, I'll get to work finalizing this guy, now that I know how to work with it all... you mention the stat block, and I downloaded your sample from the Google Doc. How do you want us to have them? On an alias here, on an ObsidianPortal account..?

So, I have no idea what I'm doing yet (I'd love to do a 20th level monk, but I question the effectiveness), but here's some questions for you to rule on:
1) Craft Construct. I can't take Leadership and have an army of followers, but can I take Craft Construct and have an army of golems, if I pay for them out of my wealth?
2) Does d20pfsrd.com count as a reliable source if provided with links to Paizo-sourced content on there?
3) How are you handling wishes - are we limited to the listed effects (which are already pretty useful, but are supported by the rules) or can we wish for anything we want? Are you prepared to handle a wish such as "I wish to be the victor" or "I wish to be the only survivor of this arena"?
4) Do a monk's unarmed strikes count as "All melee weapons you are carrying" for the Lead Blades spell? If so, would this stack with enlarge person? Strong Jaw? Disclaimer: I would *not* allow Lead Blades to affect a monk in my own games, but I would allow Enlarge person and either of the others to stack
5) Do you have any objection to a character from a class which grants the Timeless Body ability (such as a druid) saying that they reached that level before taking any age penalties, but have since advanced to Venerable? Or must aging be done evenly?

            1) I knew I was forgetting something... You can only have one construct servant and it must be a Shield Golem(is that the name?) and you must be a Caster.
2) If you link to Paizo-sourced cntent and I approve it you are fine. See the links in the approved section.
3) PM me your wish and see what happens. After all this is being organized by the gods themselves.
4) No, but it does stack with other bonuses.
5) You can do this.
Also if you assume a form that changes your size you gain the size bonuses and penalties.

I think you're thinking of the Shield Guardian which used to be a separate creature, but Paizo turned it into a template that can be applied to any golem.

Why wouldn't they be possible? The spell permanency is likely what you're looking for.

Well yes, I know Permanency is what we're looking for.
What's the cost for example, if you don't have it on a spell list, or if you don't have the spell to be made permanent on a spell list? Or if you do, but don't know it. Is there a relevant skill to consider like UMD, or could someone hire a spellcaster to have it done if they can't do it themselves?
You know, stuff like that :P

Okay, so would this be the correct equation for say, See Invisibility:
10(Caster Level) * 5(Permanency Spell Level) * 10 = 500G. Then +5000 G for the material cost of Permanency in that case.
Making 5500 G for a permanent See Invisibility from the standard spellcasting services. Correct, or no?
See invisibility is a spell which can't be made permanent on anyone aside from yourself, unfortunately. It's personal range, so there's no way to get it other than casting it yourself.
The only spells you can pay someone else to put on you are Antrhopomorphic Animal, Enlarge Person and Reduce Person, Magic Fang (regular and greater), Resistance, and Telepathic Bond. (Source).
Of course, if you have at least one rank in UMD, and at least a +9 total mod, you can cast it on yourself by buying a scroll of permanency (DC 29 to use) and a scroll of see invisibility (DC 23 to use). You'll have half an hour from successfully using the see invisibility scroll to succeed on using the permanency scroll. If you roll a 1, you wasted the see invis scroll, though.
Alternatively, you can UMD the see invis scroll, then pay for the permanency to be cast on you for the 5500 cost you calculated above.

@ Bobson: I felt like I was missing something obvious in my assessment. *facepalm* Thank you.
Edit: Okay, so a spellcaster can possibly do that normally, or UMD it onto themselves. So, at least the price of a scroll. And I guess low level spells (which is most of the permanent things) could also be done with a potion for non-casters?
Are you sure someone else can cast Permanency on you for an effect like that though? It says "You can make the following spells permanent in regard to yourself." I'm unsure if that restriction is only supposed to be because you can't normally cast those spells on others, or if it is particular to permanency itself. Hmm...

Honestly, I don't know. On the one hand, you might have to cast both spells, regardless of whether they're ones that work on someone else or an area - "You first cast the desired spell and then follow it with the permanency spell." On the other, you can make "sanctify corpse" permanent on a corpse, or "magic fang" permanent on a creature, and no single-class caster can cast both permanency and either of those. As a GM, I'd allow it, but it's MotG's call.

On a more serious note. You might see some creatures appearing in the arena. Most won't be a serious challenge for you but can give you a major disadvantage should you not take them down fast.

I'm still contemplating builds. I came up with one this afternoon that I'm interested enough in to stat out - we'll see how that goes.
If I submit a character, can I send you a replacement character at a later time if we haven't started yet? Or am I locked in once I send one?
It might be another monk...

You can replace a character as long we haven't started. but you lose any favors gained under the previous character.
That's what I figured.
Question: Qinggong monks have the option to give up any of a list of powers. This has led to a lot of debate over whether they stack with (almost) any monk archetype (with you being unable to choose to give up something the regular archetype has replaced) or with (almost) no archetypes (because they can alter every ability, so nothing doesn't overlap). PCGen supports the former, while Herolab supports the latter.
To the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been any developer input. How do you rule?
