If no movement is needed to punch something, then we can use the same roll and punch once rather than charging.

What is the enemy clustering like? The Mohgr and its crony are standing together, anyone rude close by? Thinking of launching a grenade at them that's so expensive it could probably put someone's kid through space college so I'm hoping for maximum benefit here.
Ghoul is four metrons from Mohrg, taking cover behind pedestal.
Mohrg is standing at the back in the open to have clear laser shot at everyone through the door. Monk is right next to it. They're only got soft cover so they're pretty much in the open.
Basically one of the pedestals is between ghoul and the other enemies. And I don't know if you want the grenade to damage the contents of the pedestals also lol.

Hmmmm. I want Astrianna to chuck a Temporal Disruption Grenade, but undead are immune to stun "unless the effect specifies it works against undead creatures." They're also immune to fortitude saving throws unless the effect also works on objects. Considering this particular technology works on subatomic movement I feel it SHOULD work on undead and objects but there is nowhere that says as such.
Astrianna doesn't have the right skills to make a theory and she isn't going to ask so maybe I'll just have her do it anyway and we'll find out eh.

Sounds neat! I have only skimmed the 2e rules, though they seem like a large improvement over 1e. I could try it out from the perspective of someone that doesn't know 2e.

Very true, but I'd posit then when the weather is warm enough that you don't need a coat, you also don't need chapstick, lotion, and all the other stuff that comes with cold weather, and you can exist (or at least I can) without a runny nose too!

San Diego is pretty close to LA yeah? Same weather along the coastal bits? I visited there once and the temperature in summer wasn't "mild" :p

^Yep, San Diego is south of LA about an 1 hour - 3 hours, depending on notorious SoCal traffic.
Generally speaking, the coast is quite pleasant (daily highs about 19 - 25 C over the course of the year). However, the further east you go, the hotter it gets (generally) and inland basins and even the coast can have microclimates that are hotter or colder than the average.
Then there's the Santa Ana winds - hot, dry winds that come from the inland deserts and significantly raise both the temperature and the fire risk.
Which is all my complicated way of saying that you could have visited a microclimate, or you could have visited when the Santa Anas were coming through, or you could have been east of the coast even a few miles which will raise temperatures significantly. Or you you could be someone who is uncomfortable at 25 C.
I find it pretty great most of the year though! Most nights I can be in a light jacket or sweater, most days in shorts, and if I want snow I can go into the mountains during the winter, and be home to wear my light jacket that same night.

I had the great pleasure of visiting Helsinki a couple of years back and it was such a lovely city. I went in September, so no heat wave, but the weather wasn't too cold yet, and there were even people swimming in the - I assume public - pool by the harbor!
I thought the city was really smartly designed, had beautiful architecture, and the Finns were a kind people. I'm very jealous of y'all - except the weather ;)

Yeah, it's Helsinki where I live. A nice city in summer and fall :) (in winter a bit too slushy and dark for my taste). Although I might disagree about the smart design whenever I need to move by car :D
I think all the Nordic capitals are very nice and worth visit. Well, can't speak for Reykjavik as I haven't been there yet (but it's on the go-to list)

For the invisibility issue, Prospero could use his tech tinkerer to craft "Scanner, Motion Detector" if we have some other technological item of at least 7th level.
"Motion detectors have blindsense (vibration) out to 30 feet, but you must take a move action each round to use the sensor."
So far from perfect, but could help.

Uhhh the system wide communication unit on the baddie is lvl 6. Astrianna's Queller and drone are lvl 11 but I think she wants to keep those. Fate of the galaxy is kind of at stake though sooo we'll see

Cueta can swap out a 2nd level spell for see invisibility. It only effects her though.

Considering Cueta can also fly, that would probably be for the best for taking down a big bad spellcaster that's going to have time to prepare.
This last fight is probably going to be nuts. Nothing is more dangerous than a spellcaster that knows they're about to be attacked. I suspect Astriann will be blowing RP constantly removing conditions off of people. I certainly won't be holding back resources.
Then, even if we succeed, we have to get out of the ship. If we're lucky there will be an escape craft on the bridge.
