I don't think there was anything I was interested in the baddies' loot. Except for batteries - you can never have too many!
From the artifacts the runeworm is really good, even if the application is rather unpleasant. GM should have rolled for those in secret, so we wouldn't know the rolls... Then sticking an alien worm found in corpse fleet mothership into one's ear might not sound like such a good idea... :)

Leveled up and ready to rumble. Biggest thing is a new revelation (Gravitic Reinforcement) and a new feat (Versatile Fighting). Vek can get Blind-Fight for 1 minute once a day via Adaptive Fighting, but he already used it today (against the worms of all things. XD). So for the low low cost of a resolve point, he can do it again now!

As an FYI Astrianna can use 2 of her resolve points to give any of you 1 resolve point to immediately power an ability. So don't be shy about using resolve, especially now.

Resolve points - Leila doesn't have any super helpful uses for that one in class (for a generic combat situation at least). But I'll look up the default abilities just in case!

+2 to hit seems most useful. Deflect sounds really cool and all, but Leila doesn't get shot terribly often. And it needs to be a kinetic weapon while she has her dagger out ... Ambuscade is pretty cool and all but I'm not sure how often it'll come up (and numerically just having weapon focus seems better ...)

Wow that spear is sick. It's got Cueta written all over it.

Everything else is not immediately useful, though great in its own right. I'm a bit concerned that pilfering the items would warn the bridge, but nothing has warned us that they displays have alarms on them so it might be worth the risk.

GM, did we get our rest in? Unless we want to try pilfering the spear it might be time for the (probable) Definitely Final Battle

Well large scale permanent alterations is probably not on the menu.

We could probably go for small things to disrupt and annoy the enemy.

Like randomly firing boosters and jerking the ship here and there - we'd get warned on our heads up display of course!

Or trigger the fire suppression on the enemy (if boneships worry about that? Probably. If not, we can find some good oxidizer and burn it all :D)

Turning up the brightness of the illumination to the max to ruin their mood? Maybe one or two even have some sort of weak eyesight!

Make all the cyborg computers chant our themesong just for fun? Definitely!

Perhaps some sort of false flag shenanigans if we can start some infighting?

Trigger all the maintenance/check engine lights :D

Diverting power from the engines and/or defenses would also be a cause for alarm. I think I recall Astrianna needing a bit more juice for getting those close-up shots of her face - I'm sure a ship as big as this won't mind lending a bit of processing power for such an important cause. XD

I don't have any ideas how to give us an advantage in the upcoming other than putting the bridge lighting into disco-mode, cyborgs and loudspeakers chanting our themesong, and using security cameras to record the whole fight for Astri's vlog.


It is a very big ship, the control deck is very well protected, and any such obvious things will alert the deck that something is wrong I'll say.

While GM makes a good point, for pure style point Prospero's idea is perfect IMO. Maybe we could kick at least the disco lighting, theme song, and recording action if/when we take out their leadership?

I'm going to vote for Cueta's idea. After we take out the leadership and secure ctonrol of the bridge we fire the thrusters and accerlate the whole ship into an uncorrectable crash-course with the stellar degenerator. We make our escape while our theme song and disco lighting blasts through the entire ship!

Not that we have any idea how we're getting off the ship, but we can also solve that problem once we have control of the bridge.

Cueta can try to grab the spear, not sure how the cases work.

I'll look up exactly how full attacks and haste works for my next turn. Together with weapon focus and astri's to hit bonus and the pistol with actual damage dice found earlier, that may actually be a better idea then trick attack .)

The Guarded Step takes up the Move Action from Haste it seems, so needed that for this to work it seems!
