The safe play would be to have Bulvi go total defense and still heal him back up, then go back to the bow. We're walking very close to the edge here, and the GM has been rolling hot.

Quasit is getting very emotional here for character-specific reasons, but I want to make it clear that as a player I'm not annoyed with anyone at all. I hope no one will feel offended or feel I'm getting personal with them because our PCs are disagreeing about something which in game terms is very much a side issue. Quasit is a person who wears her heart on her sleeve; she is impulsive and opinionated. It's part of her charm and part of what makes her difficult to be around sometimes. I'm just trying to play it honestly. So please forgive me if she gets a trifle obnoxious at times. :-)

Maybe you can make a 'spirit' post and convince Quasit you want to be burnt???
GM Sapphire Fox

well they claimed there was only one survivor though he made it back to town, you would be a second survivor, knocked unconscious to keep you from using your abilities that would interfere with the other cleric

Sorry for my delay in posting. I've been swamped at work for the last few days. I'll try to post later today or tomorrow. I'd like to get involved in the RP that's going on right now.
Bulvi
But that's what Bulvi said... Sakitu doesn't respect his non stirring speech. I'll show them all with science... mwahahahaha
Sakitu
|
Sakitu isn't always rational and oftentimes emotion overwhelms her so that she doesn't even notice what's going on.
Surely you've met an over emotional, irrational fox-woman before. You know how they are.
Bulvi
They're the ones you are generally going to think of but either the crack of dawn or just after sundown. She's a pretty military focused god. I can imagine out on campaign thats when you'll be sitting around with time and able to reflect on the day ahead and how best to overcome expected challenges. Or it will be after the day, analyzing and anticipating for the next day.
Bulvi
No problem, gives everyone a chance to see how the different characters are reflecting on the previous part of the adventure.

sets the dice aside and saves them for the bosses, and gets a new set out to play with
on a side note, 1 more fight after this will bring you to where you should be for lvl 2

is it my fault the dice want you dead? I swear!
Your dice are doing a great job. Hey, at least we aren't doing this at a physical location where you can actually throw the dice at us! LOL..... I know its not your fault, its almost funny if it wasn't so sad with our luck....
Bulvi
Sorry work has been pretty crazy
Question, when you're writting down 5 (1) Cold is that five damage and an extra one cold or five damage total and one happens to be cold damage...
Because Bulvi's got cold resisistance 2.
Assuming it's just clarifying (1) is cold damage of the five... because mindless optimism will save me when nothing else will.
Bulvi Started the Encounter at 14 Hit points. I have 13 down but forgot the nights rest should increase it.
Blue -9 Hit Points. 5 Remaining
Bulvi takes 5-2 Cold Damage from being beside these guys. 2 Hit Points remaining.
Blue's Death. 2-2 Cold Damage. 2 Hit Points Remaining...
Ibona comes in with the heal of 4. 6 Hit Points Remaining.
Even if that two damage points were taken from Blues attacks if Bulvi Passes that reflex save he would still be up in his turn before Ibona comes in with the healing. Regardless no negatives just at worst 0...
Bulvi Tactical Solutions for all your tanking needs. Splutters up blood.
Bulvi
Carianna could follow Bulvi's suggestion in her turn, move west provoking an AOO (she's on full health at least) and use a channel positive energy which I believe if focused on living should get everyone but Findurel some hit points back. Stabilizing everyone who is down and getting Bulvi primed to take it down. They seem more focused on threats than finishing off downed enemies. He'd suggest the Channeling thing but doesn't get it yet.
Bulvi
I forgot Bulvi would be on 14 hit points after the nights rest.
Cold Resistance 2 takes a lot of the edge off
Blue -11 Hit Points. 3 Remaining
Bulvi takes 5-2=3 Cold Damage from being beside these guys. 0 Hit Points remaining.
Blue's Death. 1-2=0 Cold Damage. 0 Hit Points Remaining before Ibona's turn
Ibona comes in with the heal of 4. 4 Hit Points Remaining.

You want to space the healers (CLW Wand users) more. Fin and I can both use it, keeping us together isn't good. Cassianna can also heal, again, bad location......
Much better...

This way there are healers evenly spaced for easy access to others. Tank up front, and Fin (Ranged) in the back, it works.

I like the idea of spreading out the healers.
Bulvi
I'm a little nervous with Sakitu in the back but it could be worth trying that way. There are two reasons I placed Carriana in the middle. One reduced speed from armour like Bulvi but she's not as overtly durable, bein in the middle lets her redeploy a little more easily. If the rear gets hit it can be a bit of a pain for Bulvi to get back there... oh armor trainning how I want you so. Secondly if we get hit with a aoe a channel positive energy can get us all.
Ibona up front is an interesting idea.
Carianna
Yeah, Carianna is build to be a secondary tank and healer, but by trying to do two things, she's only reasonably good at either. I agree that having her in the middle rank is good in terms of channeling. She doesn't have many channels because of low CHA, but they may avoid a TPK when everyone starts to go down again.
Ibona Perharice
|
Find something to make a "niche" for her. Ibona is jealous of Quasit and Sakitu and what she thinks is going on behind closed doors. She also is remorseful because she arrived late to the group, and it may be that, with her not their, Yu died.
Bulvi
I can't currently edit the map. Moving Bulvi to threaten both red and blue. Trying to set it up so Quasit can five foot step and flank blue.
Bulvi
Well thanks to Ibona Bulvi thinks Quasit and Sakitu have shacked up. He's a bit protective of the group members in combat but can't be everywhere at once.

over the weekend guys get your characters up to lvl 2, cause I don't think this battle will take much longer
Bulvi
Thank you GM Sapphire Fox.
For my combat feat from Level 2 fighter I am thinking power attack will add some more offence though Dodge or Improved initiative are also tempting.

Will do...and thanks GM...
I'll be taking Precise Shot for sure...

Quasit is leveled up.
I'd like to point out to the GM that I've taken the Rogue Talent: Trapspotter, which gives me an automatic Perception check whenever I come within 10 feet of a trap (+5 at the moment).
