Sorry guys the end of year period is just like a marathon with work. Very long hours and then when you're off there's all of the social obligations.
On the plus side Bulvi's cursed ring is not a normal ring of regeneration apparently. It's early enough on in the game I might just start down the endurance, diehard, fast healer line of feats.

You know I would've been perfectly fine with our fighter having a ring of regeneration. It raised my eyebrow a bit when you got it back, but I figured I wouldn't question it and see how it played out.
As an aside I don't want to be pushy, but I noticed Sakitu has mage armor on her spells known list. Q should be fine given the rimepelt and Maka and Tez get most their AC from wisdom and dexterity, but we have quite a few characters going into the howlings unarmored. Notably our fighter.
But I don't want to be 'that guy' and tell people what to do with their characters or anything. Just thought it was worth bringing up as a concern.
It is functioning as a normal one now I mean. I didn't know it would get fixed.
Its one of those moments when you really appreciate glamered armour.

By necessity I now have my first iphone. The keyboard is so terrible I'm about ready to smash thing against a wall. Any advice? I can't find Hacker's Keyboard for i-anything, nor even find settings for the default keyboard.
The scrolly selector for choosing alias to post as is neat thought.

@Buvli, Sorry I read that as the opposite of what you meant I guess. I don't suppose you would mind tossing that ring around when we take a beating? It would be nice to have the option to pick a different wondering spirit besides healing. 'Bulvi the undying' has a nice ring to it.

You have to have the ring on when you take the damage for it to heal you... however if someone goes scouting or doing something risky(... like dealing with traps!) it seem only reasonable for someone else to use it.
Don't get to far ahead. I've finally gotten through book one of the AP so I have the fuller description of the ring from the book. From what I've seen on the forums there has been a bit of discussion around this aspect of the AP. Foreboding GM voice. Anyhow, I've decided to go a different route. **spoilers omitted**

I believe my sheet is good for third level, though I'm going to double check and make sure I didn't forget any loot that may have been picked up before my leave.
Mine is up to date and I also keep a google docs character sheet up to date that is located in my profile. Most of the relevant info is in my header as well.
@Selena That reminds me. You should update your level to five so that you're at the same level as the others.

Yes. From what I can tell the AP is a bit chunky in spots where one of two options can be taken for encounters. This chunk seems to favor combat / bluff. I will tweak things as I can, but with the initial off book delays surrounding possible GMPCs and new PCs wanted to stick with book for a bit.
I appreciate others being involved in dialog even if skill wise the focus has been on Quasit. I would say though, there have been some pretty crucial stealth rolls as of late too. Those just aren't as obvious as the great RP banter combined with rolls.
Don't worry Quasit, having a moment to shine is a good thing, and need not always last for merely a single post or two. Just as long as we get turns, if we want them (I've known players who didn't).
Hey, tweak things however you like. I'm comfy with however you want to roll things. Again I'm enjoying the RP on this game a lot so far. I haven't done a text RP in a long while so it's refreshing to have time to think instead of relying on an improv skill-set. Sorry if my inclusion took the rest of you off the normal path for a short bit.
Also, is there a reason Fin isn't on the new map? Or is his stealth skill just that good?

I'd expect it to be rare to have a female jadwiga with no magic. All jadwiga are descendants of Baba Yaga, and of one of the queens of course, and most are winter witches, so I'd expect that a jadwiga would have magic even if they didn't actually become a winter witch.
That's what I'd expect anyway. Might be worth prepping for the inevitable questions.
Then again, I am jadwiga, so maybe I'm biased. : )

Hi all. Been great fun so far. Just a heads up. Selena will be joining the game fairly soon. I know some of you have a history in this campaign and there are a mix of feelings in terms of reuniting.
It is my hope that all goes well, but as we move forward I welcome feedback and open communication. If you do not feel comfortable chatting here in discussion I am always happy to take PMs.
All in all, I think if we all focus on having fun and playing respectfully things should be fine.
I think at this point you all have a fairly good sense of my style of running things. I will keep things focused on the bones of the AP, but will continue to take advantage of role play opportunities whenever they arise. I try to take a bit of an improve approach by saying 'yes' to the role play aspects each player puts forward while working to balance such ideas with the scope of the AP.
I have greatly enjoyed running the AP with you all so far. I hope we're able to continue forward in a way that is enjoyable for all.
Sounds good to me. My character likely isn’t fond of Jadwiga so I don’t expect Tez to be particularly friendly to Selena. I’ll try and be sure to temper that; just wanted to make that clear if he’s less than warm towards her it’s nothing personal ooc.
As an aside I am planning on taking Ritual Hex feat, if Lareg is fine with it as I’m assuming all paizo material is kosher unless told otherwise, by 7th or 9th level.
I will certainly use it to pick up the hexes to brew potions and craft wondrous items during downtime so it won’t help enhancing weapons (sorry Fin), but perhaps we can get some more magical gear for everyone that way.
Looking forward to it... though I'm painfully aware these days I'm well behind the current average posting rate.
@Tezuzu seems fine to me. In general I'm fine with any material I can easily access on d20.
@Bulvi. No worries. I've gathered that posting rates for everyone vary. As long as you're enjoying the game whatever works for you is fine.

On another note, I've had enough gold for a while to get a +1 Magic enhancement on my bow for a while, but we haven't been in a large enough city where that was available yet. The previous GM mentioned that Whitethrone was a large enough city...but in our current situation, not sure how to go about it or if it's even plausible just yet. I know in PFS, it's usually done in between scenarios, but I'm unsure in APs. When you get a chance, can you please give me some insight on that? Thanks.

I think we're carrying around a bag of holding with the accumulated party loot from the beginning of the AP, none of which we've been able to do anything with it because we've been doing the Iditarod with monsters pretty much since day 1. Would it be helpful for you to have a listing of all the stuff we're carrying? And should we all be making 'wish lists' for our characters magic item purchases?
Yes, lists of loot and things characters would like would be of great help. We aren't far at all from a good place for some of this to be addressed.

I will try and backtrack through the AP and come up with a comprehensive list of all the things we've gathered and who claimed it (if anyone). It might take me a few days, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I'll post the loot list here in Discussion once I finish so people can check my work if they wish.
Sure thing. I can take a look over book one again. Thus far I had read back primarily to get a sense of what had happened. Beyond Bulvi's ring, I hadn't look specifically at loot.
