As a more serious question, King without Land, If I were to have the Self-Perfection Phrenic discipline, the AC bonus I get from that class will stack with Monk's, yes? I think it's more thematically appropriate to take self-perfection than Tranquility, considering how Astomoi are in pursuit of harmony of body/mind.


It does not stack, they are both Ability score name bonuses. Wis to Ac, if the Self-Perfection said something like Add Wis as a Dodge bonus to AC it would stack.

Gajeel. I would recommend u monk. Weapon focus claws and feral combat training. This let's you flurry with your claws to get a rend off more often.

Necropolitan|Evolved Undead
CR is a little weird here. Necropolitan typically reduces you by a level. But that should be paid off by 5th level. Evolved Undead is a CR +1 so if we run it like CR 1/Class levels by 4th level that Necropolitan CR is bought off. Evolved Undead adds another CR at 4th level. At 7th level it should be bought off.
But I am gonna add the Evolved Undead twice.

So my Noble Born character took part in a blasphemous ritual, along with a secret sect, to become an undead, in an attempt to live forever. The ritual imbued him with more power then an normal intelligent undead. Upon discovering what his son had done his father disowned him and threw him out. Stopping just short of calling a hunt to slay the undead thing as he called it. This brings us to his present situation.

Now he wanders the world, unable to die, and too afraid to let himself be put down. He hungers for a place of his own, a return to a seat of power of importance he craves.

For classes I am not sure. I was thinking perhaps Arcanist for one part, show his study of the dark arts. But not sure what will go well with that for an undead character

Also I am not rolling for his spells on the template as I keep getting things like Circle of Death and Cloudkill which are... a little extreme.

Instead I will take See Invisibility and Confusion
He has a +4 Str and +4 Cha
Fast Heal 6
+2 Natural Armor
+2 Profane bonus to resist control undead effects
Is healed by Negative Energy
HD are all Increased to d12

King,for the Whirling Dervish's Dervish Finesse do you allow it to work while wielding a buckler on the other arm? My RL group used the Slashing Grace FAQ as a basis to say bucklers do not interfere as they don't occupy the hand itself.

I made some minor changes to Veilwar; added some mundane gear and applied "Slashing Grace: Scimitar" as a bonus feat to get Hero Lab to allow buckler usage.
