The undine performer moves swiftly to the bartender, "Good day sir, you are blessed this day since Gozreh as led me to your tavern. You am I? Well haven't you heard of the Typhoon Lord the largest attraction of the 9 ring caravan and with the right price I could perform in your bar tonight? What do you say?"

I offer up my Undine Cleric of Gozreh and all his info is in his alias.

FYI, we're supposed to do that in the discussion thread.

Incidentally Scott, having never played on the boards before, about how long does it take to gain a level?

Does anyone know how to prevent the board from eating your post? It happens to me a lot, usually when I'm trying to update my profile page rather than posting to a board. It's eaten a couple hours worth of work now between a few different instances.

Thx CKorfmann

I know of no good method, but my strategy is to copy the post before I try to save it. That way if it is eaten, I can just paste it back in and retry.

wait... so theres a creature of the plane of water here... with a FIRE domain druid... oh this is going to be marvelous! lol

Human touched by the plane of air in Narah's case. Were my descriptions that bad or did you mean anyone else?

CKorfman, copy and pste your stuff on a 5 min basis or so into note or wordpad in case that happens.

Leveling will happen based on GM fiat, I will inform you of new-found prowess as the story progresses.

What Deivon said.
Good luck and let's await the countdown

Sure! Blame it all on the man :D Its always their fault! All men are bastards!

If we are both selected then this could be a fun dynamic where we never seem to connect emotionally at the right time, well, emotionally for you. Borden doesn't really have many of those are they are things that women have. Real Men just get happy, angry, sad, horny and hungry - they don't have 'emotions'

On fighting with you? Men don't fight girls... just not done. Anyone raising a hand to woman in Bordens presence better be prepared to look for their teeth in the near future. Borden will punch on with any man here though. I suspect, thanks to his toughness and his Imp. unarmed strike he's one of the better brawlers in the room

You played pretty well, imho.

I am not quite sure who was meant by Seraphine's "you still wanna fight", but it might be a reference to this post of mine, even though it wasn't aimed at her:

http://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75hoj5p/discussion&page=4#194

Sorry, I posted this into the wrong thread at first. :/

PS: And yes, Narah would love to fight a woman with that kinda spirit. Will post something later to provoke her.

Oooh - Cat fight? Yeah Borden enjoys those. Hell, maybe I can use it to start a punch up of my own.

The fight reference was something I made ooc earlier

It was definitely a reference to Borden. But, by all means, provoke her. It should be quite interesting ;)

Meanwhile you were spoken to Seraphine, unless you know of another redhead with blonde shades adressable as miss. ;)

Ahhh - the eternal struggle: 'Miss Right' or 'Miss Right Now'.

Lol there actually does seem to be two, hot red headed Emberkin fire mages here, looking back at the posts. One a fire sorcerer and one an evoker wizard. Clearly the same person from alternate realities. Though mine looks human (took the scion of Humanity racial trait), while the other is decidedly more celestial.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

........*empties cup of ale over Borden's head for bad puns*.....:D

Ok...was actually adressing you there Seraphine.

Puns are a class feature for bards.

They should be funny at least, bards can surely do better than that :P

Oh my bad. I missed that post. I thought you were refering to the post where you addressed the other female emberkin you referred to as miss. Ill respond right now.

Puns arent funny by their nature - they are the equivalent of those jokes you get in the Christmas crackers, and quite often are one and the same.

Doesn't stop bards though - they'll steal their material from anywhere.

Oh wow, thats hilarious, two almost exactly same PCs. O.o, I need to finish reading the happenings in earlier posts XD.

Wow, tough room. I'm throwing out my best stuff. :)

Grand Lodge

What is the max starting gold?

I believe it is what is listed per class at character creation. Barbarian is listed as 3d6x10 so 180gp.

Chiming in with this sentiment.

^ same

it's 23:43 here....

All the while we're playing truth or dare :)

Truth: Good luck everyone!

just wanted to add that my statblock for this one is in the description, languages will be the same. If selected for this one I will change the main profile stats, if both, I will probably drop from one. I shouldn't take too slots up in both games. Though I like the people in this one, so I would probably stay with this one :3.

I believe we have saturated the room with applicants. I know that I had stated 12:00 midnight as the cut off, but I believe I have an excellent pool of vict...players to choose from.

So, with apologies to any late comers.

Recruitment is closed!!!

er, two*

I will post my choices for players this Saturday. I do not want to be a tease, but my profession has extremely variable hours, a frenzied pace, and is physically demanding and I do not want to make my final call until I have had a little rest.

Sounds like my job! n_n Well, best of luck in choosing your players and best of luck to all applicants once more!

Good luck and have fun.

Sovereign Court

And so we wait.

There are many excellent submissions, Lucky I'm not the GM.

rrrrr

Either way, it had been fun so far. While I am a bit sad it's going to end one can only stress a single one scene so far.

God there is another line from a movie that I would so much liked to put into the game, but I didn't want to quote another borrowed line.

"If you dance with the devil, the devil don't change. The devil changes you" - Joaquin Phoenix as "Max California" in 8MM

Would have fit the dialogue between Morthos and Daniel and worked for Narah's own experience.

...how befitting the situation.
But you were cleansed though, good thing.

There are several chars (the table's occupants) i'd really like to be in game with here. Ultimately up to the DM.

There are plenty I'd like to play with, but I can't play with them all. Maybe you will get lucky and have a chance to play with Sirsi.

Haven't seen her for a while though.

Sorry, had some troubles at home and the level of posting in the discussion thread is quite intense. Especially with so many groups of people around...
Should be back on form now and definitely still interested.

How are you going to roleplay chess, unless you want to make a google doc map for chess then we can really see what is going on. Also the battle is outside the tavern. We also need a text box on the map or a way to chat so we can do so without crowding the discussion thread with chess play move by move

Look. I am sorry to be the killjoy here, but I believe this idea is ... let's just say not very good. Some reasons that sprang into my mind.

1. We only know each other for a couple of hours. While we heard or stories, there is little reason to believe every last one of us was some kind of combatant, while others are armed knights.
2. The fact that we're all on our way to the funeral is coincidence™ this tavern is not necessarily related to the occasion.
3. Wreaking havoc on the environment is not a good way to honour Professor Lorrimor's memory.
4. Some of us want to continue to travel to the funeral the other day and are not interested in being beaten to a pulp.
5. This is not our tavern, even if we discard that there is no "we" strictly speaking.
6. There may be other guests here.
7. It's not custom to start a tavern brawl by asking people to join a complex war game, you just start insulting and hitting people and throwing tankards.

I will roleplay playing a chess game by playing a character who plays chess. I don't have to actually play chess in order to do so (which is good because I am horrible at it, but perfectly able to cheat using software).

Maybe it's just me and if you seriously wanna go about it, then by all means, do it, but Narah will still try to avoid a violent conflict and talk you out of it... She may be chaotic and ready to face enemies in battle, but she's not strictly the violent type, she still is considerate and she's good. What your characters do with it, is up to you of course.

....

e2-e4
(Mimics EDI: This is a joke.)

I cancelled the fight idea, but I will not roll for chess, you play chess, if you want to go against me.

I won't play chess on an ooc level, but if it's so horribly important to you, we can simply say you win. As a trained conversationalist it is plausible that Narah knows how to, at least.

Perhaps she can tell Daniel about any major events that have occurred over the past few years.
