Many wonder how a Undine had come to travel with a Varisian Caravan within Ustalav. Well it all started with a owner of a circus losing one of his star freakshow personalities to a Varisian Caravan Cheif by the name of Viorec Tiraith in a game of chance. Viorec took the undine boy in and raised him with his many childern, the camp accept the lost lad as one of there own and he was named Zandu. Zandu only felf odd when away from his clan in the caravan so he ended up staying close to his caravan's camps in fear of strangers attacking him. Zandu had a bad incident with a wannabe monster hunter who tried to capture him as a trophey but his clan put a stop to it.
As the Undine grew up he found he couldn't run with his brothers and sisters in the street for fun since he attracted too much attention. During his teenage times Zandu started having strange dreams of waves and storms. When he awoke he could hear rain hitting his shelter. That was the only time he felt truly at peace was during a storm, these dreams started getting worse and one time during a run to a local stores to get supplies he grew to a larger size. The local people seeing a large blue skinned humaniod with fins that start to panic, when Zandu tried to calm people down and when he held out his hands a sudden burst of rain and wind hit the people knocking down serveral of them. He was chased out of the town, Zandu hid from the people into a local libary running into Professor Lorrimor. The Professor asked him about what he was running from, Zandu didn't really reply to him at first. But seeing that the Undine teen didn't want tell him, Lorrimor changed the subject to distract Zandu. He became intrested in the man and invited him to the caravan. After a series of talks the Professor discovered that Zandu had a connection to the god Gorzeh, introduced him to the religion helping him figure out these powers he was experiencing. For finding out his connection with Gorzeh Zandu was internally grateful and promised to help him whenever he needed him.
The years progressed on and the professor left and still hadn't asked him for a return favor. Zandu feared something had happen to Lorrimor, though his fear was hidden as he found his new path within the caravan. He wanted to use his unusual looks and his new found powers and spells he could produce an act that could lure in the public. His first couple shows near empty but as people spread the word, Zandu's character the Typhoon Lord of the Inner sea became a hit around the town. The Typhoon Lord would tell tales of how he punished sailors while in search of a love he would never had. This helped the Undine get along with people better, though he had many drunkards within the audience throw stuff at him or tried to be funny so Zandu invested in real armor and a wooden sheild. Both of these are designed after his character the plate on the armor was of a storm cloud and his sheild was carved to look as a turtle shell. As he act went on it became bigger and bigger he had many of the other Varsian's helping him with the music and effects. All was going good for Zandu until one day when he got a Will summons from the professor he dropped his act and made his way to the will reading. He took his armor and his trident since he knew the world could be dangerous. So his adventure begins...
