Shaken by the fierce presence of the warg, Daedeloth's strike is not able to penetrate its hide. Blood coursing down his arm, Valriel looses the grip on his longsword and drops it! With warm blood on his muzzle, the warg again snaps at Valriel but is fended off by his shield.
The kobold takes a clean shot and hits Jalriel square in the back for 8 points! Taking up a position to the side of the doorway, Azzakan returns fire for 4 points grazing the kobold's leg.
Death take you foul warg! Daedeloth cries and strikes the beast for 4 points, leaving a slash across its neck.
The party has initiative for the next round.

Azzakan fires a bolt at the kobold but misses to the left. The kobold is much more accurate putting an arrow in to Azzakan for 6 points!
Daedeloth and Jalriel both swing wildly at the warg, missing badly. With his sword on the floor Variel calls upon the Flame and a bolt of fire launches, sizziling the warg for 3 points of damage. Enraged the warg again bites into Variel (8 points), this time throwing him to the ground.
Initiative:
A: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
D: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
J: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
V: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
m: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
The party again wins the initiative.
Time to make like Daft Punk!

Daedeloth will cast his domain spell "Silent Image" and create an image of a Dire Tiger.
As the illusion forms:
"Mighty Desna, aid your loyal servant by sending a beast to destroy his enemies!" (Talking to the tiger and pointing at the warg) "Finish the warg first, then the kobold!"
SILENT IMAGE
Effect visual figment that cannot extend beyond four 10-ft. cubes

Again Azzakan and the kobold exchange fire with the Kobold coming out ahead striking Azzakan for another 4 points of damage.
Mighty Desna, aid your loyal servant by sending a beast to destroy his enemies! Daedeloth shouts, summoning an illusionary tiger and pointing at the warg. Finish the warg first, then the kobold!
Desna?! She is a goddess of weaklings and fools! Behold the power of Alocer the Pack Lord! The worg snarls out and spins to snap at the tiger, biting through air and dispelling the illusion. What trickery is this?! You two legs are cunning, and my feast will be all the more savory for your feeble attempts!
As the warg tries to trun back to face the party, Variel rolls over to his dropped sword grabbing it and extending to a kneeling stab that thoroughly skewers the warg for 12 points! GRAWWWWWLLLL!
Stunned by the blinding pain of Variel's blow the warg is just able to avoid a decapitating blow from Jariel but still suffers 15 points of damage. Blood flows from several serious wounds on the beast as....
Initiative:
A: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
D: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
J: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
V: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
m: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Party goes first again. Is the tide turning?
Chris Welch DM
Starting to tire, none of the PCs are able to connect.
The enemy, however seems to gaining their second wind as the warg rips Variel again sending his still form to the ground in a heap. The kobold also connects for 4 points.
Party has initiative.
Chris Welch DM
Jalriel again flails about with futility. This time however, Daedeloth scores another small hit drawing more blood from the warg. In frustration the warg crashes its jaws against Daedeloth's shield.
Azzakan chokes down a healing draught (+8 points) just in time to get squarely hit by another arrow for 4 points.
Variel stableizes.
Initiative:
A: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
D: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
J: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
m: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
The monsters seize the initiative (tied with Daedeloth) tell me your actions and I'll post the round.
Chris Welch DM
The enormous warg rips into Jalriel for 7 points forcing him to the ground. However, Jalriel is able to regain his feet and avoid another chomp of the jaws wheeling about and slashing a mighty blow. Weakened and distracted by Jalriel's gyrations, its flank is an easy mark for the bashing blow of Daedeloth's morningstar; shattering the creatures hindquarters and ending its life.
Meanwhile as Azzakan hears the joyous shouts of his companions behind him he takes yet another arrow strike for 5 points, dropping him to the floor where he stabilizes.
Initiative:
D: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
J: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
m: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Seeing its monstrous warg ally defeated, the kobold abandons the fray, fleeing into the ruins.
***end of combat***

I will use heal skill to treat deadly wounds on everyone. Will use my bit of luck domain power before each attempt so i can roll twice for each person and take better roll.

Harvest the ironblooms.
Detect magic on the treasure, studying the vial and wand. Also Spellcraft it.[dice=Spellcraft]1d20 + 7
DM: Do we think we have time to rest the night? Do we think we have enough ironblooms?
The vial and wand are both magical: Potion of bull's strength; wand of light-28 charges.
You know 7 shrooms was the minimum required to heal the infected. You also know that every day that passes will mean more folks dying in the town.
Chris Welch DM
I will use the rest of my extracts (4 I think) for healing if necessary. Lets stay here for the evening to regroup and heal. Seems a safe place to stay because everyone knew about the Warg.
I want that evil Kobold, hit me for 23 points of damage. I only did 4 to him!
heals 4A: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 = 8
heals 4V: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (5, 1) + 2 = 8
What are the odds....

"The people of the village are suffering, some may be dying, I don't think the villagers can afford the delay. Maybe the dwarf altar will offer us healing again?"
We carry Jalriel to the room with the altar where I place the ruby in depression on the far right.
In this holy place, I offer a prayer of desperation to Desna.
"Mighty Desna, hear your humble servant, heal my noble companion that we might save the innocent folk of the village!"
Chris Welch DM
Do I have any more extracts left right now? Looks like Variel and I took two each. If we rest I can make more. Or we can use the wand if we decide we must push on.
You said you had 4; I rolled them all: 6, 5, 3, 2.
You can distribute them to the 3 gravely wounded PCs as you want.

You spirits lift as you feel divine radiance glow within you but no further health is brought forth from the altar.
Variel: Friends, though the need of the town is great we do none of the citizens any good if we don't return with the mushrooms at all. Dark is soon upon us. Let us fortify a room and rest. It is two days march back to Falcon's Hollow by my reckoning. If we take a forced march we can do it in a day.
