Male Half-orc Paladin/1

I'll go first

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Jalriel pushes the door open with ease and quickly scans the hallway. Further to the West (at the edge of his sight) he sees the hall way turn South, but before that there are two doors in the North wall. He recognizes the further of the two doors to be the entry to the mighty Warg's lair from the party's last visit.

To the East, the hall ends witha ruined dwarven statue. It appears to have been smashed long ago and appears to be some type of monk. The statue's stone hammer sits on the ground next to the shattered remains of its head.

The door to the NE is closed.

Use door sight on the closed door to the NE.

Daedeloth:
This chamber is entirely shattered, with much of the outer wall and ceiling completely crumbled.

"Friends I see a chamber that is entirely shattered, with much of the outer wall and ceiling completely crumbled. Jal can you lead the way?"

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

Consider the way led.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Jalriel opens the door and takes a 5' step into the room. The floor is considered rough terrain and the room that was is essentially destroyed you can see the forest easily through huge gaping holes in the wall. There is a sulphorous smell in this area.

Does it look like the kobolds were here?

perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31

Daedeloth wrote:

[dice=perception]1d20+13

No, but you do discover the source of the smell. Copious amounts of bat guano lies everywhere and looking up the cracked and broken ceiling you see a huge colony of bats sleeping.

Leave the room doing our best not to disturb the sleeping bats, close the door behind us, continue up the hall to the next door or opening, will use door sight if there is a closed door.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Creeping up to the next door Daedeloth summons his divine sight and peers in.

Daedeloth:
Old cobweb-covered racks and armor stands dominate much of this small chamber. What must have once been a well-tended armory is now devoid of arms and armor.

"Friends, this next room looks like an empty armory. Do we want to check it out or move on?"

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

Check for kobold tracks
survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

If tracks don't lead into room, I say move on.

Sounds good to me.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

There are tracks leading into the room, but they are confusing. It's tough to tell if they are recent and how many feet generated them. You recognize the next door over is the door to the Warg's rooms.

"Since tracks lead into the armory I think we should quickly look into it, maybe we can learn something useful."

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

Let's do it.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Entering the room and after a quick search Jalriel notes that there are still some finely crafted bolts (4 in all) underneath one of the weapon racks. At the same time Daedeloth finds a secret door in the NE corner.

Use door sight on the secret door.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Daedeloth:
Behind the secret door there is a short corridor with a wall of bars running down one side. Four rusted doors open in this wall into four cramped cells. There are several sets of bones within each cell.

I see a set of 4 small cells with bones. Let's check it out.

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

I take the four bolts also.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

You open the door and the musty odor that eminates from the room tells you that no one has been here in many, many years. The locks to the cell doors are thoroughly rusted out and there is a fine layer of dust coating the skeletons.

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
Look around.
Cast detect magic.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

An ornate gold ring glows with a moderate dweomor on one of the skeletal fingers. There appears to be about a dozen total skeletons in the cells.

Sweet, I take the ring. If I have time I will spellcraft it. If not, I will take a look at it later.

Any other doors or exits?

spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

[dice=spellcraft]1d20+7

This always works well....grab the magic item and run.

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

As you enter the cell to retrieve the ring, several of the skeletons clatter together and rise from their sedentary state including the one wearing the ring. With coal red eyes and skeletal claws they attack!

Initiative!

Azzakan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

I will channel energy to damage the skeletons.

Female Human hmam

I back up to prepare my bomb.
To Group: I am going to bomb. I will destroy the skeletons of Doom in back. Be careful...shove the skeletons backwards and let them feel fire.

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

Attack a skeleton close to me.

attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

aaiiieeee!! Skeletons are going to be my next favorite enemy!

Azzakan attempts to back up and gain some space to prepare a bomb but is swarmed by two of the skeletons who claw him and one begins to crush him in a skeletal bear hug(18 points total).

Daedeloth calls on Desna's power to vanquish his foes and a pulse of divine energy flows from him. As it washes over the skeletons, smoke begins to rise from their bones and they seem to wither and crack somewhat.

Jalriel hews a mighty blow against the closest skeleton. The resulting impact jars his blade loose from his hands and it drops to the floor! Just after, the unfazed skeleton claws him twice and starts to SQUEEZE (11 points total).

Variel cries out in disgust Return to the flame undead fiends! and a gout of flame springs from his hand flying at a skeleton but spraying wide.

Azzakan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Daedeloth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Male Half-orc Paladin/1

I flex my mighty thews and burst out of the skeleton's embrace.
strength: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

If successful, I pick up my sword.

All the PCs are in hand to hand combat.

Female Human hmam

Thought I had a plan. Said it out loud. Throw my bomb on the far wall and back away.

no battle plan survives contact with the enemy

You go before the skeletons so roll to see if you break out and then throw away; I'll post the round after you action as the skeletons go last with Deadeloth's peasly pulse. I'm assuming there's no Concentration check DC while you prepare a bomb last round.

Last time I ever try to effect battlefield terrain.

Waste of time to have bombs.

Azzakan (with anger) stands before the skeleton horde.

With a flex from his mighty thews, Jalriel burts free from his skeletal captor and is able to retrieve his fallen blade.

Variel manages to blast one of the skeletons with fire, dropping it in a heap of bones.

Azzakan is not as fortunate as Jalriel and the skeleton CRUSHES him for 8 points of damage.

Desna's powers appear to be muted by the evil aura of the monastery.

Azzakan's broken form falls to the ground as the clutching skeleton turns and looks for a new victim. Before, it can find one though it is battered by another firey blast from Variel.

Jalriel enraged at the sight of his fallen comrade shatters apart a skeleton with a few mighty sweeps of his blade.

The two remaining boney beasts claw at the party back striking Jalriel for 6 and Daedeloth for 5.

(Assuming no concentration is required)Daedeloth channels Desna's holy might turning the two remaining skeletons to dust.

***end of combat***

Male Elf Druid/1 AC:20 HP:24/24

Variel uses CLW wand on Azzakan:

CLW wand: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4, 2) + 3 = 10

and again Flames! They better not have sold me an inferior wand or I'll sick a plague of lice on them!

GAH! When I get back to town...

I will channel healing energy, exclude skeletons. Will also pick up the ring.
