Just want you guys to take a few posts and introduce yourselves your character/Pregen and they're Strengths/Weaknesses, so you guys can get an idea for your tactics.
Norco, WerePox, Capricornus, Skorn, Fletch and Arizhel are all in if they want to play.
Once I get acknowledgements from all 6 players or 36 hours go by and I've got 4, I'll start gameplay.
Quigly Cobblepots |
Quigly is a pregen bard.. Good at buffs and has some CC.. He has a decent attack bonus but doesn do any damage to speak of, so ill prob be trying to setup flanks with him.. He has a decent set of social skills, so he could potentially be a face.. The only real weaknesses i see is he has no big heals to offer and doesnt do any damage really.. Overall one of the more decent pregens imo..
Seelah Pregen |
Capricornus here with Seelah pregen. # 61161-1
By her stats she's more of a tank with a potential for devastating damage when she can combine her smite with Vital Strike and Power Attack. So, she'll get into base contact and wail on most enemies, defending the squishies by blocking approaches to them and letting others be the finishers. I expect I'll make good use of her Diplomacy and Sense Motive skills. She also makes a decent healer with her Lay on Hands and a Wand of Cure Moderate wounds.
"Fletch" |
"Good afternoon," says a tall, blond, bearded man wearing the eagle tabs of an Andoran veteran. He wears a long green cloak over which rises the hilt of a greatsword. His hands rest lightly on a beautiful bow made of some coppery material.
"My name is Bellweather Ninefarthing. My friends call me "Fletch". I am a pretty good archer, but in battle, expect me to work in close with my sword." He thumps the breastplate of his full plate armor, finely made of a silvery alloy. "I may look slow in this get-up, but I'm actually pretty light on my feet. Don't look to me to do the talking, but I do keep my ear to the ground and learn quite a lot. I'm also a bit of an expert on the undead, demons, devils, forests and the Darklands."
"And that," he says, pointing to an immense dire wolf standing four feet high at the shoulder and crowding the room, "Is Romulus. He is not friendly and he does not like to be petted or ridden. But He is very smart and understands what we're saying, don't you boy?" If the great beast does indeed understand, he gives no sign, simply watching everyone in the room with solemn, observant eyes.
Norco |
Aye, folks I'm Norco, encanter of the weak minds and master of magic. I have preformed many great tasks for the Society in the past and look forward to serving with you all now.
You can click my name for my PFS stats and Hero Lab stat block. I just hit 9th and need to pick a few things out before we start.
My PFS Number is: 16359-1
Lini the Gnome |
"Hello everybody! I am Lini. Not much to know really, I like exploring like almost every other pathfinder, and I love new people, so this should br great!"
A small green haired gnome bounds into the room, her eyes burning with merriment and joy at the prospect of yet another pathfinder adventure.
Greatest Strength: Lini is a GNOME! Of course she is strong!
Next Greatest Strength: She has the worlds finest collection of Sticks!
But Seriously, full divine caster, wild shape, and a cat companion.
Weaknesses: None, again gnome with collection of sticks. what more could you want?

Deneb* |
Just found out I was selected to play. Deneb is a 9th level cleric of Desna - 3387-2. He is an alias of Skorn. Will have to update the alias completely but I use Herolab, so it should not take long. :)
Deneb has travel and luck domains. Two of the three best in my opinion. :) He will have a high AC and can stand in the front line if he has to. Just no one expect him to hit anything. I have not played him in a while so let me dust him off and brush up on his tactics. I do recall that with Travel he can dimension door a few times a day as a move action - always handy. And with Luck he can let his friends roll twice to hit, making characters like Capricornus even more effective. So he is a healing support cleric with a good AC. But he is good aligned and will not tolerate evil in the party... be warned. :)
If the bard can handle disable devises, or if you decide you do not need a rogue, I'll bring in this cleric. But since both a druid and a bard CAN heal, if you guys want, I could bring in an 8th level rogue with trapspotter, who spring attacks. Since he is a scout he always will get sneak attack with his spring attacks and is quite a beast - using his great axe to attack with. He outshines fighters in single hits and does not stand toe toe for full attacks unless he absolutely has to.
A little warning - The rogue has played up quite a bit and is, well, well equipped. He is a Quadirian trade prince as well and benefits from buying items at a 10% discount. Add very good day job rolls - slight of hand, (and slow progression for more day job rolls) and a couple money boons you might argue he has too much money for his level. Strangely all this was not intentional and I honestly did not realize it until a DM pointed it out to me. The cleric is likely just the opposite and is a little below the money curve for his level.
So, cleric, or rogue? You guys pick. I'll have fun either way.
Quigly Cobblepots |
Sorry for the late poster, ive been on vacation all weekend.. Ready togo now though!
Deneb |
Welcome Quigly.
All, I need to retcon something - I am pretty rusty with this guy. As I was about to cast Longstrider onto Quigly I got to thinking why didn't I always lead off giving everyone 9 hours of Longstrider. Then it re-occurred to me that the spell is range personal.
That means I cannot cast it on you Seelah, sorry. What I can, and will do for you though is to loan you my boots of striding and springing, and cast Longstrider on myself. Since that spell is a domain spell and I have pearls of power having the boots is almost redundant.
Deneb |
Thought of a minor tweak to run by you Mr. P33J.
Deneb's shield is Sanctified. That allows him to channel into the shield and charge it with positive energy increasing its AC bonus by 1 UNTIL he is hit the first time. If you are ok with it I would like to have started with the shield charged as it has no duration. If you rule that Deneb cannot start with a charge he would have channeled into it at the very beginning of the mod, using one of his channels for the day.

By the way for those of you with no frame of reference to who Ms. Feathers is
Here is the provided image.
I'm doing my best to play to the Nostalgia element of Ms. Feathers for those of us who have encountered her before, without ignoring the newer direction the developers are wanting to take her.
Lini the Gnome |
Spell Notes:
Lini is going to choose:
0th Level: Detect Magic, Create Water, Stabilize , and Guidance
1st Level: Good Berry x1, Obscuring Mist x2, Longstrider x1, Cure Light Wounds x1
2nd Level: Barkskin, Restoration, Lesser, Aspect of the Bear, Flaming Sphere
3rd Level: Magic Fang, Greater, Sleet Storm, Stone Shape
4th Level: Strong Jaw, Air Walk
If retcon is possible, Good Berry should have been used first thing in the morning, then distributed to the party. Else wise, when we have made it past our first objective Lini will purchase some fresh berries at the local market and cast then.
"Fletch" |
Fletch im no expert with animal comp, but shouldnt rom's attack be +6bab, +7str, +2inspire, -1 size for a total of +14/+9, doing 1d8+12 dam? I suppose the attack bonus would be +12 if you were power attacking, but the dam would be +16.. Again i may be wrong here.. Your attacks are also not including the +2hit/dam from inspire, or the extra 1.5 str dam for swinging 2handed.. I suppose technically you could soak that with power attack for +13/+8 for 2d6+19+1d6 fire.. Dam i miss my RotRl 12th level Dwarf Ranger.. Again just trying to help here :)
Thanks for helping out!
First, yeah, I'm forgetting the Inspire for sure, which explains most of the discrepancies. No, he's not power attacking.
Second, I'm not forgetting the x1.5 bonus. With a +1 sword and an 18 Strength, he'd normally get 2d6+5. With the x1.5 bonus, it's 2d6+7.
I'll go adjust the numbers to account for the Inspire Courage.

So, in PFS, what would be the impact of my changing alignment from CG to CN, and how would I go about changing back? And am I remembering right that its fine for a cleric to be one spot removed from his deity?
I really am interested in what people think about a cleric of Desna consuming one of the wafers with the justification of not letting the sacrifice go to waste. Afterward, with the alignment change. he might regret it and want to atone anyway. But is there justification in the action or not.
"Fletch" |
I don't know about the rules for changing alignment. You can get lots of good advice in the PFS forum.
As for the wafers, I think several of your teammates would be disgusted and angry. Eating someone's soul just doesn't sit right with some people. Go figure.
P33J |
I'm not as familiar with the ethos of Desna, I feel that a worshipper of Irori or Gozreh or Gorum could easily justify it. Irori for the aspect of self-improvement, Gozreh for not letting it go to waste and Gorum because it's more power and more power means more fighting.
You don't have to kill the cultist to fulfill the mission, you can return him to the lodge, as there are no real authorities in Kaer Maga to deal with him. Either way is a death sentence, one just offers him more opportunities to escape or think about his impending doom.
Lini the Gnome |
I don't think a blight druid would have much fear, so long as the owner of the soul in question were either 1) already dead, or 2) had already exhausted the efforts to locate the owner. Turning something horrible and broken into a force for good or healing is kinda what the class is all about. Either way, I am going to post on the PFS Advice forum to see what the general take on such an act is.
If either way will satisfy the Grand Lodge's agenda, Lini will bow to the whim of her comrades.
