True...but a hardcover technology book would be way more controversial and risky, which is what would have fit with Numeria stuff. and Mythic came out with a Mythic AP, and Bestiary 3/Ultimate Combat had a lot of stuff for Jade Regent.

New classes sell well. Very well. Extremely well. And Advanced Class Guide went up against D&D 5th Ed for GenCon releases.
Advanced Class Guide was extremely strategic as a release.

Well...Occult Adventures won't be using the power point system of Psionics. SOOOO...yeah.
Ultimate Psionics is awesome, but some GMs probably will be even more reluctant to use Dreamscarred Press in Golarion games when this book comes out.
Sign of a poor GM or at least one that makes decisions without reading things.

Golarion is: "One campaign to rule them all and in the darkness bind them."
If you can think of it as a scifi/fantasy/historical/pulp trope, then it exists somewhere in Golarion, its solar system, or planar system. They even randomly decided to go kill an Earth historical figure in an AP.

I hope the Innersea race book will have a lot of info on races like the Lashunta, Android, etc. If it focuses mostly on the core then I might just skip that one.
Lashunta hardly qualify as an "Inner Sea Race".

I'm very pleased to hear that psychic magic is finally getting official support. It's been the biggest remaining hole in the Paizo rules set / the main limiting factor preventing the detail of certain parts of the campaign setting. I look forward to the possibility of Vudra/Casmaron/Castrovel stuff finally happening.

Mikaze, you're amazing. Thank you.
I hope you don't mind, but I used your live updates for my website update today, with proper credit of course. :)

So, if my calculations are correct, Hell's Rebels will be the 'gonzo' AP, following the more 'conservative/traditional' Giant Slayer one. Any ideas/hints as to what gonzo elements will be introduced in H.R.?
I'm loving the gonzo APs, myself…
Actually, they've said that although the generally do do about half traditional, half experimental, it's not actually a strict alternation, and both GS and HR are going traditional given the run of RoW (planet hopping/fairy tale, so experimental) WotR (mythic, so mechanically experimental though the plot was traditional) Mummy's Mask (traditional, but outside medieval fantasy) and Iron Gods (all the crazy) means that the traditional story lovers have been missing out for a while.
Also given the middling chance of the post HR one involving Vuda and psychic magic, worth stocking up before going off piste again.

Did they give any example what psychic magic might "look" like?
I can't speak to any examples, but James has said that they all like Vancian magic at Paizo, so if they did psionics, it'd probably be some form of that, with psychic flavored abilities, rather than power points. Since they mentioned Dreamscarred Press' take as a great version for fans of the 3.5 version of psionics, it at least seems likely that there won't be powerpoints.

That's fair I guess. I assume they want to bring this to pfs eventually so they wouldn't want people playing the core game to have to learn a completely different magic system, and I can see why they don't want to reinvent the wheel when Dreamscarred already has their pp classes done well.

For those that missed the thread (just like I missed this one), the guys from KnowDirection posted some of their notes about this seminar here
It goes into a little bit more detail about Occult Adventures, Inner Sea Races, and Hell's Rebels.
Edit: From the description of OA, it seems like it could certainly be used for that Vudran AP some of us have been clamoring for, but it might also be able to be used for something a little more pulpy, like perhaps a campaign featuring the fey and First World (thinking in terms of Victorian-era Spiritualism/Occultism).
