I wish you and yours the best. Your work has been a font of enjoyment for me since before I knew it was you I aught to thank, and your sarcastic wit has kept me entertained since I first found myself drawn to the boards. While I don't mean to belittle the efforts and talents of everyone else at Paizo, yours has been the shiny headed face that came to mind whenever the company came to mind, and your presence will be missed.

It's sad news to me, but I hope Sean and Jodi do well in their new venture. Law school? I never thought Jodi would go to the Dark Side. Soon she will be like Sebastian.

Also Gorby.

Not possible, I highly doubt there could be two Gorbys it's a statistical impossibility.

Sláinte Sean!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Maybe Paizo can hire that good looking guy who played the Inquisitor in 'The Gamers: Dorkness Rising' to fill in for Sean.

Sean, I read you blog post and all I can say is: I wish you and Jodi the very best. Your work both here and WotC has always strengthened my understanding of the game, and even when I had questions you reasonably answered them.

Safe journeys, good luck, and always kill your players and make them want to come back for more.

Sean is a great guy to work with, and a fabulous friend. While I'm excited for him to be taking this step, we'll miss him greatly.

I'd write more, but I think this picture sums up my feelings.

Sutter, can we get a huge poster of that photo for the banquet hall at Paizocon?

I think it would be most appropriate.

Yes. It is the finest way for SKR to be there in spirit (whether he's there in the flesh or not).

Sean, I wish you and Jodi all the best (especially Jodi when she starts Law School). While I am bummed that I won't get mini painting tips this summer in Seattle, I am glad that you will be continuing on your writing and (hopefully) game design and look forward to the content you create.

Best wishes for you both, Sean and Jodi. :) Please stay involved with RPGs (and Pathfinder) if/when you can.

You know what they teach at law school? That there are three kinds of lies: statistics, big damn statistics and weather forecast.

Sean will be missed! He was also open to discussing subjects on the forums and he always put great effort into everything I witnessed. I've had the opportunity to play games with the rules he helped write and to play as a character in games he has ran.

Sean and Jodi, I wish you the best of luck! I hope to see you at the next GenCon!

If we chain him down in the Paizo basement he can't leave. Right, guys? Guys?

I think they tried that already, and SKR taught the raptors how to use door handles.

Salute and thanks to Sean for his great contributions at Paizo and elsewhere in the gaming biz, and cracking the well-deserved whip on freelancers both near and far! Always remember, don't try to be clever; try to be awesome. :)

All the best to you and Jodi as you move on to Middle America.

Oh man, Paizo without SKR will be strange. Thanks for all your great work on Pathfinder, especially the deity articles and Superstar. Best of luck to you in Indiana, I look forward to all your future work :)

Wow - huge loss for Paizo!

Best of luck to you, SKR - and THANK YOU for your interactions with us fans! It's always been insightful to read your comments/opinions.

Whoever said that, never studied law in oklahoma. Their weather forecasts are a thing of beauty.

I hate you Sean. I love you. I can't wait to see what you do with some peaceful, quiet writing time.

Wow, SKR was a big reason why I took the leap over to Pathfinder. I'm very sorry to hear this for my own part, but I'm super happy for SKR. All my best a thousand times over, and he'll be missed.

Well SKR, if you happen to read this post at any point, all I can say is see you around, and I hope life hands you all the best things it has to offer. Can't say I disagree with you about living in the city anyway in all honesty. There's just something nice about the peace and solitude of living away from all that mess.

People favorited the post when Steve Russell announced that LPJr's Wife died.

It's not just celebration. It's a weird way to show support.

Gotcha! Kind of looked like, "What? SKR's leaving? Woohoo!" *Favorit*" or something like that. I guess it could also be used to keep track of the thread or something, but that seems an odd way of doing so instead of dotting.

Yeah, that's why I complained about favorites since paizo.com introduced the feature. Maybe someone favorited your post thinking "Look how full of baloney this post is! I'll want to take note of this and show it to someone later to ridicule it." And you think "Someone favored my post! He must really like it!"

Anyway, good luck, Sean!

Sean ran this set of online 3.0 games about ten years ago and sent painted minis out to everyone who played. One of the nicest moments I've ever had with the internet, and one of the main reasons I'll continue to keep track of his work and writing in the future. I'll definitely miss him as the Hostmaster General for RPGSS!

*Looks around to make sure people bought it*
