While I may not like him very much and I clash with him on rules, it's going to be a sad day when he leaves. He's a talented designer with many years of experience and I hope him all the best luck in his future endeavors.

Have fun in Indiana!

P.S. stay away from NASCAR!

Good luck, Sean K. Reynolds. May fortune smile upon you and Lady Luck guide you to success.

That about sums it up really.

Good luck in Indiana, whatever you decide to do. It'll be weird not having you around.

Oh my lanta, this is quite a surprise :(

I'll miss you, Sean, but good luck with everything!

Wait, who's Jodi?

Anyway. Good luck to you and to quote "May you always find your way in the Dark."

Good luck, Sean.

I always appreciate your ability to sum up the reasons behind rules in just a couple of sentences. I'm grateful for all the work you've put into Pathfinder over the years (especially the love and attention you put into the beginner box!) and for all the thinking behind the deity writeups in the APs. I've played in many worlds over the years, but I've rarely found a pantheon that feels so real.

Wow. Well this is interesting. Wonder who will or could fill his shoes? Wait, I better read the announcement first. [goes off to find link]

OK. That makes sense. I'd be moving to the country too if I wasn't moving from the country to the city soon. And I'm sure Sean will have finished his duties on the ACG by then, which is my main point of interest in him as a developer at Paizo.

Sean: Enjoy your time in the peace and quiet and may your creative expression continue. Coming from a family in which my brother and parents are all legal academics, I understand the need to prioritize those studies for your wife.

I'd say we haven't heard the last from him by a long shot. He'll show up in some Paizo credits for some time to come I feel.

Blimey!

Sean is, arguably, one of the people who saved 3.5 gaming.

In a very short space of time he turned the 3.5 rules into the PF playtest, then he, again very quickly, turned that into Pathfinder.

If that process had dragged or been a failure then the whole, wondrous adventure of Paizo might never have become such a mighty gaming beast.

Dude will be missed.

Sean's one of the best designers in the industry (if not the best). I'm disappointed to see him leaving Paizo, but hopeful that he'll continue to be a prolific freelancer.

Sean, best wishes to you and Jodi in your future endeavors.

Sean gave me my first opportunity to do freelance for Paizo as part of Team Gruntwork, so for that I'll be forever grateful.

It will be strange working with you as a freelancer instead of being brow-beat by you and that cursed Advice and Punishments style guide. ;-)

Best of luck to you and Jodi on the move and in this next exciting stage of your life's adventure. You're one of the coolest cats I've never met.

My heart is crushed - very happy for Sean and Jodi to be seizing the reins of their life, but still very sad to hear this news. There's no one I trust more with a rule than SKR.

Bon voyage Sean - maybe you'll still make it down here for ReaperCon sometime!

No argument from me on your premise, but for the record Sean joined a bit after the playtest had started.

Such unexpected news, I am saddened to hear of your leaving Sean.

Wow, good luck.

I spent some time in the southern tip of Indiana, beautiful countryside out there. I wouldn't mind moving back if it wasn't for the horrible, horrible winter I experienced.

I am sure we are going to continue to see more from him and not less. He will most certainly be able to focus on his writing and produce more of it once he is away from Paizo. I am sad though. Who will draw goblins on my arm?

It'll be interesting to see where the PF ruleset goes from here without his presence at Paizo. Regardless, though, best of luck to him.

Best of luck, Sean. Enjoy Indiana and don't totally reject the potential to knock out a freelance piece or do a guest appearance.

I hope you still linger in the community, Sean. It's always a pleasure having you around, especially for RPG Superstar. Either way, you'll love Indiana. It's a great state to live in.

Well, let me be the first to welcome him! It's a great state, even with all the snow we've received this winter.

Sad to see this as the first thing popping up when logging into the forums. Hope you and your wife enjoy Indiana more than I do, although the country setting is great. Good luck in the future things you do.

All the best, Sean! Enjoyed your company at last year's PaizoCon banquet, hopefully we'll still see you writing and making terrain!

Wow! Big Loss to the company. I wish you and your wife well in future endeavors. We sometimes have to make sacrifices for our loved ones. In the end it makes home-life happier.

Farewell.
